Product Information

• The Smart Radiator Thermostat Basic is a device that helps regulate the temperature in a room by controlling the flow of hot water through a radiator. It can be controlled remotely through the internet using an Internet Bridge.
• The Internet Bridge connects to the user’s router and communicates with the Smart Radiator Thermostat Basic using radio waves. The Smart Radiator Thermostat Basic is powered by two AA batteries and can be mounted onto most thermostatic valve heads using the included mounting bracket.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Connect the Internet Bridge to the router using an Ethernet cable and power it on.
2. If no free USB connector is available, press the pairing button on the Internet Bridge for 3 seconds to activate pairing mode.
3. Remove the battery strip from the Smart Radiator Thermostat Basic to activate it.
4. Press the pairing button on the Smart Radiator Thermostat Basic to activate pairing mode.
5. Wait up to 2 minutes for the pairing process to complete.
6. Prepare for mounting by unmounting the existing thermostatic valve head and attaching the included mounting bracket.
7. Attach the Smart Radiator Thermostat Basic head to the mounting bracket.
8. Set the display orientation using the buttons on the device.
9. Wait up to 1 minute for calibration to complete.
10. Note down the location of the device using the included sticker and setup card.
11. Deactivate pairing mode by pressing the pairing button on the Internet Bridge again.
12. The Smart Radiator Thermostat Basic is now ready for use.

Connect Internet Bridge to router

1. Pairing

   • Connect Ethernet and USB cable

   • Press pairing button to activate pairing mode
     To allow other devices to connect to the Internet Bridge

   • Remove the battery strip to activate the device

   • Press the button for 3s to activate pairing

   • Pairing (up to 2 min)

   • Ready for mounting

Pairing Error

  * Restart device by removing and putting back the batteries
  * Restart pairing and keep 3 m distance between the Internet Bridge and device

2. Prepare mounting
   Unmount the existing thermostatic valve head

3. Mounting
   Attach the thermostat mounting bracket (an adapter may be required)

   • Mount the Smart Radiator Thermostat head

   • Calibrating (up to 1 min)

   • Calibration successful

Calibration Errors

  * Remount thermostat head
  * Check adapter mounting
  * Check batterie

4. Document locations of installed devices
   Place sticker into the setup card and note down the device’s location

5. Deactivate pairing after the last installation
   Press pairing button on Internet Bridge to deactivate pairing mode
