WARNING

1. WARNING! Constantly monitor your child and ensure the mouth and nose are unobstructed.
2. WARNING! For pre-term, low birthweight babies and children with medical conditions, seek advice from a health professional before using this product.
3. WARNING! Ensure your child’s chin is not resting on its chest as its breathing may be restricted which could lead to suffocation.
4. WARNING! To prevent hazards from falling ensure that your child is securely positioned in the sling.
5. WARNING! Infants should be carried in the front until they are strong enough to control their head, neck, and torso muscles to stay seated without assistance. This product is not suitable for use in the “face forward” position.
6. WARNING! Do not carry children under 6 months of age and children unable to stay seated unassisted on your back.
7. WARNING! Never bend at waist while using this product; bend at knees to prevent child’s fall.
8. WARNING! Never unbuckle the waist belt before taking your child out of the product.
9. WARNING! Never leave the child unattended.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

-The product is suitable for children weighing between 3 months and maximum 20 kg.
-Child’s weight: min 4.5 kg – max 20 kg
-Child’s age: min 3 months – max 3,5 years
-When the child can’t support its own head, adjust the product so that the head of the baby is positioned high up on your chest. This is the safest place for the child to be.
-Be aware of hazards in the domestic environment e.g. heat sources, spilling of hot drinks.
-Never use the product when cooking, cleaning, holding hot beverages, and doing other things exposing your child to burns or effects of chemical substances.
-When drinking hot beverages, make sure to keep from spilling hot liquid on your child inside the ergonomic backpack.
-Only one child at a time can be inside the ergonomic backpack.
-Your movement and the child’s movement may affect your balance.
-Take care when bending and leaning forwards or sideways.
-The product is not suitable for use during sporting activities e.g. running, cycling, swimming and skiing.
-Be aware of the increased risk of your child falling out of the ergonomic backpack as it becomes more active.

-Make regular inspection of the product for any signs of wear and damage.
-Keep this product away from children when it is not in use.
-Never use the product if any of its elements are damaged, torn or missing.
-Before use check that the straps are fitted and adjusted correctly and that the buckles are safely fastened into position.
-Check to assure all buckles, straps and adjustments are secure before each use.
-Do not install any accessories, spare parts, or elements not provided by the manufacturer on the product.
-Check for ripped seams, torn straps or fabric and damaged fasteners before each use.
-Remember that the child inside the ergonomic backpack will react sooner to climatic changes than the adult who is carrying it.
-Never use the product when balance or mobilty is impaired because of exercise, drowsiness or medical conditions.
-Never wear the product while driving or being a passenger in a motor vehicle.
-Never lie down or sleep with child in the product.
-Regularly check that your child is comfortably and securely seated in the product.
-Do not strap the child too tight to your body.
-Always ensure that the child has enough space around its face to breathe properly.
-Allow room for child’s head movement.
-Always use safety belts.
-Before using the product for the first time, remove all advertising material from it as well as the materials used to attach them to the product.
-To avoid danger of suffocation, remove all plastic bags and packaging materials before using the product and keep them away from babies and children.

USAGE AND ADJUSMENT

The product provides the most appropriate (ergonomic) position supporting the child, in which the shape of the hips and legs resembles the letter M. This maintains the natural position in which the child should be carried. WARNING! To ensure the ergonomic position of the child, place the legs in such a way that the child’s bottom is slightly lower than the knees, and the legs are spread wide to the sides.

1. Front backpack with child facing parent
WARNING! Always put on the carrier before you place your child inside.
Unfasten the buckle of the hip strap and the buckle connecting the shoulder straps. The side buckles should be fastened . Put on the hip strap and fasten the buckle. Adjust the hip strap to your waist (Fig. 1). When you are certain that the hip strap is properly in place, hold your child to your chest and spread the child’s legs (the child’s legs should be hanging out of the strap) (Fig. 2). WARNING! During this process, the child must be held tightly. Securing your child, raise the backpack panel to cover the child’s back (Fig. 3). Support your child with your right hand and put the left shoulder strap on your left shoulder (Fig. 4). Next, switch hands and do the same with the right shoulder strap. Fasten the buckle connecting the shoulder straps with both hands and adjust it appropriately (Fig. 5). Depending on the situation, tighten the shoulder straps by pulling on the adjusting bands (Fig. 6). Keep pulling the shoulder strap bands until the child is tightly covered by the panel. Make sure that the child’s legs are not too tight. The straps located at the front of the backpack are used to adjust the height of the material holding the baby’s head (Fig. 6A).

2. Carrying the child on your back with the child facing your back
WARNING! Do not carry children under 6 months of age and children unable to stay seated unassisted on your back.
WARNING! Regularly check whether your child is secure and comfortable, especially when your child is carried on your back.
Unfasten the buckle of the hip strap and the buckle connecting the shoulder straps. The side buckles should be fastened . Put on the hip strap and fasten the buckle. Adjust the hip strap to your waist (Fig. 7). When you are certain that the hip strap is properly in place, ask your partner to put the child on your back (Fig. 8). The child’s legs should be around your waist.
WARNING! During the entire process, the child must be appropriately supported by you or your partner. Ask your partner to raise the backpack to cover the child’s back while securing the child (Fig. 9). Next, put on both shoulder straps. Fasten the buckle connecting the shoulder straps and adjust it appropriately (Fig. 10). Depending on the situation, tighten the shoulder straps by pulling on the adjusting bands. Keep pulling the shoulder strap bands until the child is tightly covered by the panel (Fig. 11). Make sure that the child is in the proper position and that the child’s legs are not too tight. (Fig. 12)
The straps located at the front of the carrier are used to adjust the height of the material holding the baby’s head (Fig. 6A). Ask your partner to properly adjust the material to the head height.

MAINTENANCE AND CARE

For cleaning, please refer to the instructions on the label. Washing instructions:
Hand wash at max. 30°C. Do not iron. Do not dry clean. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Check the durability of the fabric and stitches after every wash.
Periodically inspect the product; check for ripping, damage, or missing components. In the event of the aforementioned, do not use the product.
