Anolis SubDrive 4
Product Information: SUBDRIVE 4
The SUBDRIVE 4 is a lighting fixture that needs to be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with all national and local electrical and construction codes and regulations. The device falls under class one and must be grounded. The fixture comes with a top cover and cable glands that need to be properly installed to ensure a water-tight seal.
The fixture has power and data connections, with power connections having a strip length of 7mm and data connections having a strip length of 5mm. The fixture can be connected via DMX or LED output. The wiring connection follows the EU color code.
The SUBDRIVE 4 is manufactured by ROBE Lighting s.r.o., located in the Czech Republic.
Product Usage Instructions: SUBDRIVE 4
- Open the box and uncover the SubDrive.
- Install the housing by drilling holes to the surface according to hole spacing. Mount the SubDrive via mounting holes to the surface.
- Make cable connections for power and data connections following the EU color code shown. Use the specified strip lengths for each connection.
- Install cable glands individually using the specified wrench size for each gland (M20x1.5 – wrench size 24, M12x1.5 – wrench size 16).
- Close the box by installing the top cover making sure the gasket is in good condition and is positioned properly in the groove. Before applying the torque, make sure the thread is clean and functional.
Note : Failure to properly install cable glands will result in failure of the water-tight seal!

STEP 1
OPEN BOX
Uncover SubDrive.
STEP 2
INSTALL HOUSING
Use fasteners that are appropriate for use with your mounting surface.
Drill holes to the surface according to holes spacing. Mount SubDrive via
mounting holes to the surface.
STEP 3
CONNECTION
- Strip these lengths for cable connections
- Connection – colour coding
- Wiring connection
For Data and Power – EU color code shown
STEP 4
CABLE GLAND INSTALLATION
Use wrench size 24 for cable gland M20x1.5
Use wrench size 16 for cable gland M12x1.5
Install Cable glands individually!
We recommend applying an adequate layer of the paste LOCTITE 5331 on the plastic holder of the cable gland before inserting in into the body of the gland and an adequate layer of the paste LOCTITE 577 on the thread of the gland body.
Failure to properly install cable glands will result in failure of the water-tight seal!
STEP 5
CLOSE BOX
Install top cover making sure the gasket is in good condition and is
positioned properly in the groove.
Before applying the torque, make sure the thread is clean and functional.
