This machine is delivered without fuel and oil. Before use, fill fuel and oil to the correct level. Operating the machine with no or too little oil can cause serious damage to the engine that is not covered by the warranty.

Filling with fuel
Always use fuel that meets the following specifications: unleaded gasoline, octane rating at least 86.

Never fill with fuel while the machine is running. Allow the machine to be refilled with fuel for a minimum of 15 minutes after use.
Do not smoke near the machine or near the fuel. Never refuel near sparks, flames or open flames.

Remove the lid from the filler opening

  • Carefully pour the fuel into the filler opening. Do not fill the tank beyond the top of the fuel filter.
  • Replace the lid on the filler opening.

Filling with engine oil

  • Use 4-stroke engine oil. SAE 10W-30 is suitable for general use in all temperatures. Other viscosity can be used when the ambient temperature is within range.
  • Remove the dipstick from the filling point (fig B, 24).
  • Fill the crankcase with the extended amount of oil.
  • Reinstall the dipstick.

Residual risks

  • Even if you use this product in all safety requirements, the risks of damage remain. The following possible extensions from the structure and design of this product:
  • There are risks and property damage from attachments from the effects of hidden objects when mowing.
  • There are risks arising from flying objects.
  • Prolonged use of this product creates vibrations for the user and can cause so-called “white finger syndrome”. Wear gloves and keep your hands warm to reduce the risk of contracting the white finger syndrome.
  • If you notice any of the symptoms of ‘white finger syndrome’ seek immediate help.
  • Symptoms of ‘white finger syndrome’ are numbness, loss of sensitivity, tingling, pain, loss of strength, color changes or skin conditions. These symptoms usually appear on the fingers, hands or wrists. The risk increases at low temperatures.
  • A long run of noise can affect the health of the user. Hearing protection should always be worn when using the device.

The machine may only be used for its intended purpose. Any other use is considered use. The user/operator and the manufacturer are responsible for damage caused by the nature.
Please note that the device is not designed for commercial use. The warranty is void if the device is used in a commercial, trade or industrial environment prior to export.

USE
Check the fuel level, add fuel if necessary. (fig. J, photo 1).

Switch

  1. When one of the four tools (brush trimmer, grass trimmer, chainsaw or hedge trimmer) is placed in the locking (6) of the telescopic tube (8) and fixed with the screw, the machine can be used.

  2. Put on the harness according to the instructions. See “Assembling the carrying harness”.

  3. Move the choke to the ON position (fig. A, 4).

  4. Place your hand on the machine and pull the starter rope with the other hand (fig. B, 26) until you feel resistance and then pull firmly (fig. J, photo 2). Repeat until the machine starts.

  5. When the machine starts, move the choke to the OFF position.

  6. DO NOT release the starter rope, let the starter rope return slowly.

  7. Once the engine has started, press the on/off switch (fig. A, 3) and the throttle lock (fig. A, 2) simultaneously. This accelerates
    the machine to cutting speed.

  8.  Hang the machine on the shoulder strap ring (4) on the carrying strap.

  9. Carry the bike on the right side, hold the handle (6) with the left hand, even if you are on the left.

  10. Let the machine warm up before use.

Switch off
To stop the machine, release the throttle and set the on/off switch (fig. A, 3) to the OFF position. If it is not already in the OFF position, move the choke to the OFF position (fig. A, 4). When the power switch is released, it should return to its home position and the engine should stop. If not, do not use the device again.

TIPS TO WORK CORRECTLY

Tips for working correctly with the grass trimmer .

  • Mow long grass in steps, first the top layer, then a little lower and finally the desired height.

Tips for working correctly with the brush trimmer

  • Take into account the direction of rotation of the disc. Always make cutting movements from left to right.

The disc rotates counter clockwise. Cutting from left to right prevents kickback and shooting of the trimmer.

Tips for working correctly with the chainsaw

  • Only use the chainsaw for cutting branches.
  • Make sure you can clearly see the branch you want to cut
  • Do not cut into brushes or small branches, as this could jam the saw.

Tips for working correctly with the hedge trimmer

  • Make sure you have a good view of the shrub you want to cut.
  • Do not try to cut branches, use the chainsaw for this.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

  • Check that all nuts, bolts and screws are tightened to ensure that the machine operates safely.
  • To reduce the risk of fire, allow the engine to cool before storage, keep all parts free of grass, reeds, moss, leaves or sand.• Examine the machine regularly and replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
  • If the oil tank needs to be emptied, this should be done outdoors.
  • The drained oil must be stored in a container specifically designed for oil storage or, on the contrary, must be disposed of.
  • The device must be secured during transport to prevent accident injuries.
  • Store the machine in a well-ventilated, dry place.

Cleaning

  • The machine must be thoroughly cleaned after each use. This applies in particular to the underside and the blades.

ENGINE FUEL (FIG. J)

  • Make sure the device is on a flat surface.
  • Change gasoline every year older than a month or 25 hours of operation.
  • Use only the recommended gasoline.
  • Drain the old gasoline into a suitable container.
  • Add the new gasoline.
  • Dispose of the used petrol in accordance with current regulations.

Checking the oil level

  • You should always check the oil level before starting.
  • Remove the dipstick from the fill point.
  • Clean the dipstick.
  • Insert the dipstick into the fill hole for a few seconds before pulling it out again.
  • Check the oil level. The oil level should be between high and low.
  • If the level is below the level, add oil. Use a funnel to avoid spilling.
  • Install the dipstick.

Oil change

  • You should change the oil after the first 20 hours of operation, and then every 100 hours or 6 months.
  • Place a container under the drain point.
  • Remove the dipstick from the fill point.
  • Remove the drain plug.
  • Let the oil run into the sump.
  • Reinstall the drain plug and tighten it securely.

When draining the oil, the fuel tank must be empty. Run the engine until it stops due to lack of fuel.

Checking the chainsaw oil level

  • Make sure the device is on a flat surface.
  • Unscrew the fuel cap (fig. A, 17) by turning it counter clockwise. The chainsaw oil level should be at least at a minimum level as shown on the oil tank.

Never run the chainsaw with no or too little chainsaw oil. This can cause serious damage to the chainsaw.

  • Change the chainsaw oil every year before the start of the season when the engine is warm.
  • Use only the recommended chainsaw oil.
  • Drain the chainsaw oil into a suitable container.
  • Add the new chainsaw oil to the maximum level shown on the oil tank.
  • Dispose of the used oil in accordance with current regulations.

Wear sturdy work gloves.

Installing and removing teeth (chainsaw and hedge trimmer)

  • Worn teeth cause poor performance and overload of the motor.
  • Check the condition of the teeth before each use. Sharpen or replace the teeth with new ones if necessary. It is recommended to have this done by a specialist.

Insert and remove disc (brush trimmer)

  • A worn disc will cause poor performance and overload the motor.
  • Check the condition of the disc before each use. If necessary, replace the drive with a new one.

Adjust wire length (grass trimmer)

  • Adjust a thread that is too short as instructed in “Installing/ replacing the bobbin thread”.
