Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between GENIANI XL and GENIANI?
GENIANI XL has a larger size, higher heating temperature, and a longer power cord.
It claims to give moist heat, however there is nothing on the packaging to support this claim. How does that function?
You won’t get burned by the heat thanks to the cover. Regarding the wet, all I know is that the cover prevents your skin from drying out and itchiness. Most heating pads leave your skin dry and itching after a while of use. This heating pad solves the issue for me. I wear it for at least two hours.
Is there any smell? Is there a smell to it?
Despite having a nose like a bloodhound and having three of these, I haven’t noticed any smell from any of them.
Why, even on the maximum setting, doesn’t this get warm?
Since mine and the two others I bought for other people have not experienced any problems with it not getting hot enough, I would assume that it is malfunctioning. This is the best heating pad I’ve ever used, thus I would want a replacement. I’m really sorry about your issue. Allow them the opportunity to replace it.
After heating for around 5 minutes, it stopped and stopped heating. Am I doing something wrong?
I don’t see anything wrong with what you’re doing. It appears that the heating pad is broken. Ensure that it is still turned on. I’ve discovered that while I’m changing it behind my back, I often unintentionally push the button to off.
What should a heating pad not be used for?
It is always best to avoid using a heating pad while asleep. There is no need to go to bed with either heat or cold on the skin, for that matter, as both can result in extremely painful and disfiguring burns. Your body is working to recuperate while you are asleep.
On an infrared heating pad, how long should you stay?
A minimum of 30-45 minutes are recommended for each treatment session. As a side note, it will take the infrared about 20 minutes to reach the therapeutic level of penetration. It’s critical to realise that the sensation of heat could not always be consistent.
Can a heating pad be used while sleeping?
Even if your electric heating pad has an auto shutdown feature, sleeping with it is risky and may result in fires or skin burns. One suggestion is to use a heating pad that can be heated in the microwave if you want to reduce your pain while you sleep.
Should you use a heating pad to your skin directly?
Avoid using a heating pad or hot gel pack to your skin directly. To prevent burns, wrap it in a towel before putting it to the skin. Don’t use a heating pad to induce sleep. When using a heating pad, turn the heat intensity up gradually from the lowest setting.
Can an infrared heating pad be used excessively?
Yes, generally speaking. Any form of heat therapy can have some risks and challenges, and infrared heating pads frequently allow for higher temperatures than conventional heating pads. Heat therapy should not be used excessively as this can be harmful to the body and even dangerous.
