Intended operation
This mouse is intended exclusively for inputting data and operating personal computers. It is not intended for any oth-er use.
Your device is not suitable for use at workstations in line with the regulation for computer workstations.

  • The device is only intended for private use and not for industrial/commercial use.
  • Please note that we shall not be liable in cases of improp-er use:
  • Do not modify the device without our consent and do not use any auxiliary equipment that we have not ap-proved or supplied.
  • Only use replacement parts or accessories that we have supplied or approved.
  • Comply with all the information in this user manual, es-pecially the safety instructions. Any other use is consid-ered improper and can cause personal injury or proper-ty damage.
  • Do not use the device in potentially explosive atmos-pheres. This includes petrol stations, fuel storage are-as and areas where solvents are processed. This device must also not be used in areas with particle-laden air (for example flour or wood dust).
  • Do not expose the device to extreme conditions. Avoid:
    • high humidity or wet conditions
    • extremely high and low temperatures
    • direct sunlight
    • naked flames.

Operating safety

WARNING!

  • This device can be used by children over the age of 8 and by persons with reduced phys-ical, sensory or mental abilities or by those without experience and/or knowledge, if they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of the device and have understood the dangers that result from it.

  • Children must not be allowed to play with the device.

  • Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children. Children younger than 8 should be kept away from the device and the connection cable.

  • Keep all packaging materials used (bags, piec-es of polystyrene etc.) out of reach of children.

  • Do not allow children to play with the packag-ing material.
    There is no right of recourse for lost data or for consequential damage caused by data loss.
    This product has been designed for use with a PC.

  • Follow the safety instructions for the comput-er to which you connect the device.

Installation location

  • Set up and operate the device on a stable, lev-el and vibration-free surface.
  • Keep the device away from moisture, water droplets and spray, and avoid dust, heat and direct sunlight.

Cleaning
Make sure that the device is kept clean. Before cleaning the device, disconnect all cable con-nections to the PC. Clean the device and all other components with a damp cloth. Do not use solvents or corrosive or gaseous cleaning agents.

Repairs
NOTICE!
Never open the housing of the compo-nents!

This could result in an electric short-circuit or even fire, which will cause damage.

  • Only let an authorised service partner repair the device. Please contact customer services if you have technical problems.
  • Unplug your computer immediately and con-tact your customer service:
    • if the connections are scorched or dam-aged
    • if liquid has penetrated inside the device
    • if the device is not operating correctly
    •  if the device has been dropped or its hous-ing is damaged.

Getting started

Connecting with the PC
Connect the mouse to your PC. The mouse is now connected to the PC and can be used.

Mouse

In addition to the two standard buttons, the mouse also fea-tures a DPI button, three thumb buttons and a mouse wheel.

  • Left button (LMB)
    Use the left button to make a selection (click once) and con-firm this (double-click).

  • Right button (RMB)
    Use the right button to call up certain position commands (context menus).

  • Scroll wheel (MMB)
    The scroll wheel in the centre has two functions:

    • You can move the wheel to scroll through long docu-ments, e.g. websites or texts (scrolling).
    • You can also use the wheel as a button by simply click-ing it.
  • Thumb buttons
    Use the thumb buttons to jump to the previous page in your Explorer and back.

  • Changing the DPI
    The resolution of the optical sensor can be changed to 800 dpi, 1600 dpi, 2400 dpi, 3200 dpi, 5000 dpi or 10000 dpi as required.
    Depending on the selected DPI resolution, the status LED lights up in the following colours.

    • 800 DPI:Red
    • 1600 DPI: Green
    • 2400 DPI: Blue
    • 3200 DPI: Yellow
    • 5000 DPI: Purple
    • 10000DPI : Cyan

This product has been tested extensively and successfully with a variety of different devices in our test labs. It is nor-mal, however, for the drivers to need updating from time to time. This is because there may be compatibility problems with other components (programmes, devices) which have not yet been tested. Your device has been packaged to protect it from damage in transit. The packaging is made of ma-terials that can be recycled in an environmentally friendly

Old devices that carry the symbol illustrated may not be disposed of in ordinary household waste. In accordance with Directive 2012/19/EU, these de- vices must be disposed of correctly at the end of their ser-vice life.
