10.11 Integrated weekly and daily program, energy saving

AUTOMATIC PROGRAMMING WITH SELF-LEARNING PROCESS

· General Information Auto-programming (Auto): After an initial learning period of one week, the device analyses the presence cycles to define and implement a weekly schedule adapted to the lifestyle, alternating Comfort and Eco periods, with the aim of providing the most efficient, comfortable and targeted heating cycle. The algorithm will continue to learn and adapt to changes in presence rhythms, adjusting itself week after week to optimize the heating program according to any changes in rhythm.

· Operation The first time the device is started, “auto-programming” is automatically activated in Auto mode. The first week of operation is a learning week during which the device stores habits and draws up a schedule for the week. It then defines a program consisting of periods of Comfort and Eco, independently for every day of the week.

Smart program application One week after switching on, the device will apply the new program for the next 7 days. Then, week after week, it will continue to optimize the smart “Auto” program, adjusting the activation of Comfort and Eco periods to perfectly fit the user lifestyle. When the product is in Frost Protection or Standby mode for more than 24 hours, learning and optimization of the smart program stop: the device saves the program recorded in the last week before switching to Frost Protection or Standby mode. · Example 1: If the product is installed in mid-season or if its installation
is ahead of schedule on the construction site, it can be switched on in Standby mode. When Auto mode is selected, the learning week starts automatically. The device remains in permanent Comfort mode and stores the usage habits and then applies the resulting program in the following week. · Example 2: The frost protection mode is selected before going on holiday. When you return, and Auto mode is restored, the appliance
automatically applies the smart program stored during the last week before leaving.

Weekly and daily program In this mode it is possible to program the device by setting one of the five programs proposed for each day of the week.

· Access to programming modes From Auto, Comfort, Eco or Frost Protection modes, press seconds to enter programming mode.

10.12 Open window detection, energy saving · Important information about open window detection Important: The open window detection is sensitive to temperature changes. The device will react to the opening of the window according to different parameters: set temperature, increase and decrease of the temperature in the room, external temperature, position of the device, etc. If the device is located near an entrance door, the detection may be disturbed by air caused by the door opening. If this causes problems, it is recommended to disable the automatic open window detection mode. Nevertheless, it is possible to use manual activation (see below).
1 2
Legend = preferable position = other position

· Frost protection digital counter When the device performs a lower temperature cycle due to an open window, a counter is displayed on the screen showing the cycle duration. The counter automatically resets to zero the next time the Frost Protection mode is enabled due to an open window (automatic or manual activation).
· Stopping Frost Protection mode Press a button to stop the Frost Protection mode. Note: If a temperature increase is detected, the device can switch to the previous mode (enabled before detecting the open window).
10.13 Presence detection, energy saving · Important information about presence detection The presence detector is sensitive to changes in temperature and light. It is likely to be disturbed by the following elements: · Sources of heat or cold such as air vents, lights, air conditioners. · Reflective surfaces, such as mirrors. · Animals passing through the detection area. · Objects that move with the wind, such as curtains and plants. Disable
the presence detector if the device has been installed near one of these elements. Note: The detection range varies depending on the ambient temperature.
· General Information The device adapts to your lifestyle while keeping energy consumption under control. With the front infrared sensor, the device optimizes the heating management in a smart way: it detects the movement in the room where it is installed and, in case of absence, automatically performs a progressive lowering of the set temperature resulting in energy saving. To ensure correct operation, do not obstruct the sensor field of view with obstacles (curtains, furniture, etc.).

· General Information Decrease the temperature by setting the frost protection when ventilating a room with an open window. It is possible to access the open window detection from Comfort, Eco and Auto modes. There are two ways to enable the detector: · Automatic activation, the temperature drop starts as soon as the fan
