Product Information

The Sciaire Mini + HEPA air purifier uses Plasma Technology to filter out harmful pollutants from the air. It is designed for indoor household use only and complies with the maximum allowable concentration of ozone of 0.050 parts per million by volume (ppmv) in a 24-hour period. The device comes with supplied accessories and should only be used after fully assembled. It is not intended for use by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory, or reasoning capabilities unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the machine by a person responsible for their safety.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Read all safety instructions before using the device.
  2. Place the device on a firm, flat, level surface that is secure and away from walls and appliances. Do not place where it is likely to be bumped or knocked over.
  3. Ensure the electrical outlet used with the device is not loose or damaged.
  4. Only use the device after fully assembled and with supplied accessories.
  5. Do not allow foreign objects to enter the ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause electric shock or damage to the device. Do not block air outlets or intakes.
  6. Do not cover the machine while in use.
  7. For best performance, place the machine on the floor at least 3 feet from any wall or appliance.
  8. Follow basic precautions when using the device to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.
  9. Disconnect all power to the device and turn off all controls before unplugging. Always unplug the machine if not in use and while cleaning.
  10. The device is not user serviceable. Do not attempt to repair the product yourself. In the event of failure, contact customer support for repair or replacement.

Note that the device should never be placed in an area where it may come into contacts with water, such as bathrooms or laundry rooms. Additionally, do not use if the power cord or plug is damaged and keep the power cord away from hot surfaces. If you believe the device has been damaged or is faulty, contact customer support for repair.

  • THIS MACHINE IS NOT INTENDED FOR USE BY CHILDREN. Keep away from small children and pets.
  • This machine is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or reasoning capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the machine by a person responsible for their safety.

  • Do not expose the device to moisture: avoid areas where it might come in contact with water such as bathrooms or laundry rooms.

Quick Start Guide

  1. Twist and detach the bottom cover.
  2. Remove the H13 HEPA filter from the plastic bag, and install it in the device.
  3. Replace the bottom cover.
  4. Connect the AC adapter to the device, plug it into an outlet, and press the power button to turn on.

Timer

  • (2H/4H/8H) Set the timer to have the machine turn off automatically

Sleep Mode

  • The lowest fan speed level is ultra-quiet

On/Off

  • Powers the device on and off

Auto Mode

  • Blue: Air Quality Good Yellow: Air Quality Moderate Red: Air Quality Poor

Fan Speed

  • (1/2/3) Three fan speeds

Plasma On/Off

  • Press the icon to toggle the plasma purification function on or off

Filter Replacement Indicator

  • After changing the filter, press for 3 seconds to reset the filter life countdown

Cleaning and Maintenance

Always unplug the machine if not in use and while cleaning. When the device is not used for an extended time, store it in a cool dry place. Do not store the device where it might be exposed to excess moisture or direct sunlight. May not operate effectively in freezing temperatures. Use a dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Do not use any chemicals or cleaners.

Cleaning the Air Quality Sensor

The inlet for the air quality sensor is located at the back of the machine as shown. The inlet should be cleaned every 2 months using a vacuum or with a cotton swab that has been lightly moistened with clean water.
