Product Information

The Aaira Surface is a disinfectant device that uses HOCl Technology. It creates a powerful disinfectant by using science (electrolysis) on ingredients found in nature, such as water and non-iodized salt. The device is intended for household and indoor use only and has an input voltage of 100-240V, 50-60Hz. The device should only be used with the adaptor model HCX30010903000B provided with the device.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Read the full instruction manual online and all safety instructions before using the device.
  2. Only use the device as described in the instruction manual. Do not carry out any maintenance other than that shown in the guide or as advised by customer support. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
  3. Hold the device by the base when moving it. Do not move the device with water in the pitcher.
  4. The device is not recommended for use by children under the age of 8, and children and vulnerable consumers should have adequate supervision or instruction when interacting with the device.
  5. Do not use the device on wet surfaces or outdoors. Do not use in bathrooms. Never operate the device where it may fall in the bath or other water container. Do not use or store it where it may get wet or in the immediate surroundings of a bath, shower or swimming pool.
  6. Do not pour water into any openings except for the pitcher. When refilling, only do so as described in the guide. Do not use hot water.
  7. Do not use the device in areas where fuel, paint, or flammable liquids are present. Keep combustible materials away from the device. Do not use near furnaces, fireplaces, stoves, or other high-temperature heat surfaces.
  8. Do not locate the device directly below a main electricity supply socket. Do not unplug by pulling the cord from the socket. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
  9. Do not handle any part of the plug with wet hands. Do not use the device with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged it must be replaced.
  10. If the device is not working properly, has received a sharp blow, has been dropped or damaged, do not use the device.
  11. Always place the device on a firm, flat, level surface. Turn off all controls before unplugging. Always unplug the device when not in use.
  12. When the device is not used for an extended time, store it in a cool dry place. Do not store the device where it might be exposed to excessive moisture or direct sunlight. The device may not operate effectively in very low temperatures. The device can be damaged when exposed to sub-freezing temperatures.
  13. Read and save all instructions provided with the device.

  8. Blue Spray Bottle (Used to fill with high-concentration disinfectant)

Quick Start Guide

  1. Fill to the max water line with tap water and add non-iodized salt:
    • 2 scoops (2 grams) for low concentration (100 PPM).
    • 4 scoops (4 grams) for high concentration (200 PPM).
  2. Use the vinegar measuring cup to add 4ml/0.14oz. of 5% white vinegar. Stir the salt for 10 seconds with the provided stirring stick.
  3. Press the left button to make low-concentration (100 PPM) HOCl disinfectant. Wait 9 minutes until the process is complete.
  4. Press the right button to make high concentration (200 PPM) HOCl disinfectant. Wait 12 minutes until the process is complete.
  5. When the disinfectant is ready. Pour into coordinating spray bottle. Remove the safety clip before use.
  • Use the green bottle for low-concentration disinfectant (100 PPM).
  • Use the blue bottle for high-concentration disinfectant (200 PPM).

Maintenance

We recommend not leaving disinfectant in pitchers or bottles for more than 48 hours.

How to clean

  1. Fill the pitcher with
    • 500ml/16.91oz. of water.
    • Do not add any salt or vinegar.
  2. Press both buttons on the control panel.
  3. Wait 3 minutes.
  4. Empty pitcher.

Where to Use

Remove heavy deposits from surfaces before using the HOCl disinfectant. Be sure to test HOCl in a small, inconspicuous area before using to ensure discolouration does not occur.

Everyday Use

Low Concentration (100 PPM) Clean high-touch areas and surfaces including but not limited to countertops, tabletops, devices, cabinets, doors and windows.

Disinfectant

High Concentration (200 PPM)
Heavy-duty cleaning areas including but not limited to bathtubs, showers, toilets, floors, sinks and drains.
