Product Information

The Aaira + HEPA uses HOCl Technology that takes ingredients found in nature (water and non-iodized salt) and uses science (electrolysis) to create a powerful disinfectant. It is designed to improve the air quality in your home by removing harmful particles, such as pollen, dust, and pet dander, from the air using a HEPA filter. This air purifier is also equipped with a smart sensor that detects changes in air quality and adjusts the fan speed accordingly.

Product Usage Instructions

Before using the Aaira + HEPA, please read all safety instructions in the user manual.

1. Ensure the machine is fully assembled in accordance with the instructions before use.

2. Connect your device with DH LIFELABS APP for added convenience.

3. Ensure the machine is not located directly below a main electricity supply socket.

4. This machine is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or reasoning capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the machine by a person responsible for their safety.

5. Do not move the machine while it is plugged in or powered on. Make sure the machine is powered off and unplugged before moving.

6. Remove the HOCl Generator before moving the machine to avoid spilling water inside the machine. If water is spilled while moving, wipe the machine dry with a clean cloth and allow it to dry before use.

7. This machine is not intended for use by children. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children. This appliance can be used by children 8 years and above if supervised.

8. Do not use the machine on wet surfaces or outdoors. Do not use in bathrooms. Never operate the machine where it may fall in the bath or other water container. Do not use or store it where it may get wet or in the immediate surroundings of a bath, shower or swimming pool.

9. Do not pour water into any openings except for the water tank. When refilling, only do so as described in the user manual. DO NOT USE HOT WATER.

10. Do not unplug by pulling the cord from the socket. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.

11. This machine may have hot parts inside. Do not use in areas where fuel, paint or flammable liquids are present. Keep combustible materials away from the machine.
    DO NOT USE NEAR FURNACES, FIREPLACES, STOVES OR OTHER HIGH-TEMPERATURE HEAT SURFACES.

12. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this machine has a polarized plug. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way. (Not applicable in UK).

• Do not allow the area around the machine to become damp or wet. If dampness occurs, turn the output of the humidifier down or use intermittently. Do not allow absorbent materials, such as carpeting, curtains, drapes, or tablecloths, to become damp.
• If the machine is not working properly, has received a sharp blow, has been dropped or damaged, do not use the machine and contact customer support for repair.
• Do not use the machine on a soft or unstable surface. ALWAYS PLACE THE MACHINE ON A FIRM, FLAT, LEVEL SURFACE.
• DO NOT COVER THE MACHINE WHILE IN USE.
• Never leave water in the reservoir when not in use. Empty and clean before storage. Clean before next use.
• Turn off all controls before unplugging. Always unplug the machine if not in use and while filling or cleaning.
• For best performance, place the machine on the floor at least 3 feet from any wall or appliances.
• READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
• THIS MACHINE IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD AND INDOOR USE ONLY.
• Warning: Micro-organisms that may be present in the water or in the environment where the appliance is used or stored, can grow in the water reservoir and be blown in the air causing very serious health risks when the water is not renewed and the tank is not cleaned properly every 3 days.

Quick Start

1. Take off bottom cover, remove H13 true HEPA filter from plastic bag, and install in device. Replace the bottom cover.
2. Remove top cover to access the HOCl Generator.
3. Grasp the handle and turn the HOCl Generator to unlock it and remove it from the device.
4. Remove the CEF by unscrewing it from the generator.
5. Fill the generator with water to the MAX. water level (800ml/27.05oz.).
6. Add 1 scoop total (1 gram) of non-iodized salt and stir evenly.
7. Replace the CEF and screw it into the bottom of the HOCl Generator
8. Wipe the exterior dry and place it back in the base. Using the handle, turn the HOCl generator and lock it in place. Replace top cover.
9. Connect the AC adapter to the device, plug into an outlet, and press the power button to turn on.

What to do:

Real-Time Air Quality Indicator

Connectivity

Aaira + HEPA can connect with your smart device when you download the DH Lifelabs App. Open the App and click ‘+’ to connect your device. Follow the steps in the App. Works with Google Home or Amazon Alexa.

Cleaning Your Aaira + HEPA

The unit should be cleaned regularly. Clean the HOCl Generator with fresh water. Use a clean, dry cloth for the external surfaces of the machine. If water stays in the HOCl Generator for 7 days follow the alert process.

Descaling
Lime scale builds up in the machine over time. To ensure the best performance, descale monthly.

What to do:

1. Power off device
2. Empty HOCl Generator
3. Take out the CEF
4. Add 200ml (7 oz) of 5% white vinegar; leave for 1 hour (do not turn device power on)
5. Empty and clean HOCl Generator with fresh water
