Product Information

The Sciaire Mini + HEPA is an air purifier that uses PlasmaShieldTM Technology to generate positive and negative ions to remove 99.90% of bacteria and viruses in the air. The device is designed for household and indoor use only and comes with an adaptor model HCX36012401500B.
It is important to read the full instruction manual online and all safety instructions before using the device. The device complies with the maximum allowable concentration of ozone of 0.050 parts per million by volume (ppmv) in a 24-hour period.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Always place the device on a firm, flat, level surface that is secure. Do not place the device where it is likely to be bumped or knocked over.
  2. Ensure the device is in an upright position at all times.
  3. Never place containers with liquid or drinks on top of the device as spilling liquids into it can damage the device and potentially cause electric shock or create a fire hazard.
  4. The device is not recommended for use by children under the age of 8, and children and vulnerable consumers should have adequate supervision or instruction when interacting with the device.
  5. Only use the device after fully assembled and with supplied accessories.
  6. Do not allow foreign objects to enter the ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause electric shock or damage to the device. Do not block air outlets or intakes.
  7. Do not cover the device while in use.
  8. For best performance, place the device on the floor at least 3 feet from any wall or device.
  9. Always follow basic precautions when using the device to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.
  10. Do not expose the device to moisture and avoid areas where it might come in contact with water such as bathrooms or laundry rooms.
  11. Disconnect all power to the device and turn off all controls before unplugging. Always unplug the device if not in use and while cleaning.
  12. Ensure the electrical outlet used with the device is not loose or damaged. A poor electrical connection can result in overheating and damage to the power cord.
  13. The device is not user serviceable. Do not attempt to repair the product yourself. In the event of failure, contact customer support for repair or replacement.
  14. To disconnect the device, make sure it is powered off, then grip the plug and pull it from the wall outlet. NEVER pull the cord to unplug it.
  15. The input voltage is 100-240V, 50-60 Hz.
  16. Do not use if the power cord or plug is damaged.
  17. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.
  18. Do not use if you believe the device has been damaged or is faulty. If the device is not working properly or has been dropped or damaged, contact customer support.

Quick Start Guide

  1. Twist and detach the bottom cover.
  2. Remove the H13 HEPA filter from a plastic bag, and install it on the device.
  3. Replace the bottom cover.
  4. Connect the AC adapter to the device, plug it into an outlet, and press the power button to turn on

Control Panel

  • Timer

    • (2H/4H/8H) Set the timer to have the device turn off automatically
  • Sleep Mode

    • The lowest fan speed level is ultra-quiet
  • On/Off

    • Powers the device on and off
  • Auto Mode

    • Blue: Air Quality Good
    • Yellow: Air Quality Moderate
    • Red: Air Quality Poor
  • Fan Speed

    • (1/2/3) Three fan speeds
  • Plasma On/Off

    • Press the icon to toggle the plasma purification function on or off
  • Filter Replacement Indicator

    • After changing a filter, press for 3 seconds to reset the filter life countdown

Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Always unplug the device if not in use and while cleaning.
  • When the device is not used for an extended time, store it in a cool dry place. Do not store the device where it might be exposed to excess moisture or direct sunlight. May not operate effectively in freezing temperatures. Use a dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Do not use any chemicals or cleaners.

Cleaning the Air Quality Sensor

  • The inlet for the air quality sensor is located at the back of the device as shown.
  • The inlet should be cleaned every 2 months using a vacuum or with a cotton swab that has been lightly moistened with clean water.
