WARNING! TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK OR INJURY PLEASE ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING:
! This device complies with the maximum allowable concentration of ozone of 0.050 parts per million by volume (ppmv) in a 24 hour period.
! Always place device on a firm, flat level surface that is secure. Do not place device where it is likely to be bumped or knocked over.
! Do not sit, stand, or place heavy objects on the device.
! The device must be in the upright position at all times.
! NEVER place containers with liquid or drinks on top of the device. Spilling liquids into it can damage the device and potentially cause electric shock or create a fire hazard.
! This device is intended for household and indoor use only. Do not use outdoors.
! This device is not recommended for use by children under the age of 8, and children and vulnerable consumers should have adequate supervision or instruction when  interacting with the device.
! Only use the device after fully assembled.
! Only use this device with supplied accessories.
! Do not allow foreign objects to enter ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause electric shock or damage to the device. Do not block air outlets or intakes.
! Do not cover the device while in use.
! Locate the device near an outlet and avoid using an extension cord or power strip.
! For best performance, place the device on the floor at least 3 feet from any wall or device.
! Always follow basic precautions when using device to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.
! Ensure the electrical outlet used with the device is not loose or damaged.
A poor electrical connection can result in overheating and damage to the power cord.
! To disconnect the device, make sure it is powered off, then grip the plug and pull it from the wall outlet. NEVER pull the cord to unplug it.
! Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.
! Do not use if you believe the device has been damaged or is faulty. If the device is not working properly or has been dropped or damaged, contact customer support.
! Do not route the power cord under or cover it with carpet. Route the power cord to minimize the possibility that someone could trip over it.
! Do not expose the device to moisture: avoid areas where it might come in contact with water such as bathrooms or laundry rooms.
! Disconnect all power to the device and turn off all controls before unplugging. Always unplug the device if not in use and while cleaning or other maintenance.
! The device is not user serviceable. Do not attempt to repair the device yourself. In the event of failure, contact customer support.
! If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
! The input voltage is 220-240V, 50-60Hz.

Connectivity

Scoriae + HEPA can connect with your smart device when you download the DH Life labs App. Follow the steps below and/or in the App.
Works with Google Home or Amazon Alexa.

  1. On your smartphone, install DH Life labs app and turn your Bluetooth function on.
  2. Turn the device on.
  3. Open DH Life labs app and add the device.
  4. When the app indicates, press and hold the Wi-Fi Indicator for 3 seconds.
  5. The app should connect to the device over your Wi-Fi network and the Wi-Fi Indicator will illuminate amber.

To disconnect from the network, press the Wi-Fi Indicator. The device will beep and the indicator will illuminate red.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Maintenance

When the device is not used for an extended time, store it in a cool dry place. Do not store the device where it might be exposed to excess moisture or direct sunlight. May  not operate effectively in freezing temperatures. Use a dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Do not use any chemicals or cleaners.

Cleaning the Air Quality Sensor
The inlet for the air quality sensor is located at the back of the device as shown. The inlet should be cleaned every 2 months using a vacuum or with a cotton swab that has  been lightly moistened with clean water.
