Product Information

The Sciaire Mini + HEPA is a device that uses PlasmaShield Technology to generate positive and negative ions to remove 99.90% of bacteria and viruses in the air. The device is designed for household and indoor use only and complies with the maximum allowable concentration of ozone of 0.050 parts per million by volume (ppmv) in a 24-hour period. It is not recommended for use bychildren under the age of 8, and children and vulnerable consumers should have adequate supervision or instruction when interacting with the device.

Usage Instructions

1. Before using the device, read the full instruction manual online and all safety instructions.

2. Place the device on a firm, flat, level surface that is secure, at least 3 feet from any wall or device.

3. Ensure the electrical outlet used with the device is not loose or damaged. A poor electrical connection can result in overheating and damage to the power cord.

4. Only use the device after fully assembled and with supplied accessories.

5. The device must be in the upright position at all times.

6. Do not place heavy objects on the device.

7. Do not sit or stand on the device.

8. Do not place containers with liquid or drinks on top of the device as spilling liquids into it can damage the device and potentially cause electric shock or create a fire hazard.

9. Do not allow foreign objects to enter ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause electric shock or damage to the device.
   Do not block air outlets or intakes.

10. Do not cover the device while in use.

11. To disconnect the device, make sure it is powered off, then grip the plug and pull it from the wall outlet. NEVER pull the cord to unplug it.

12. Do not use if the power cord or plug is damaged.

13. Do not expose the device to moisture: avoid areas where it might come in contact with water such as bathrooms or laundry rooms.

14. Disconnect all power to the device and turn off all controls before unplugging. Always unplug the device if not in use and while cleaning.

15. The device is not user serviceable. Do not attempt to repair the product yourself. In the event of failure, contact customer support for repair or replacement.

• For best performance, place the device on the floor at least 3 feet from any wall or device.

• Always follow basic precautions when using device to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.

• Do not use if you believe the device has been damaged or is faulty. If the device is not working properly or has been dropped or damaged, contact customer support.

• Do not route the power cord under or cover it with carpet. Route the power cord to minimize the possibility that someone could trip over it.

• Do not expose the device to moisture: avoid areas where it might come in contact with water such as bathrooms or laundry rooms.

• Disconnect all power to the device and turn off all controls before unplugging.

• The device is not user serviceable. Do not attempt to repair the product yourself. In the event of failure, contact customer support for repair or replacement.

• The input voltage is 100-240V, 50-60 Hz.

• Only use with adaptor model HCX3601-2401500B provided with the device.

Quick Start Guide

1. Twist and detach bottom cover.
2. Remove H13 HEPA filter from plastic bag, and install it in device.
3. Replace bottom cover.
4. Connect the AC adapter to the device, plug into an outlet, and press the power button to turn on.

Wi-Fi Indicator
Flashing amber: Attempting to connect
Steady amber: Connection successful
Steady red: Not connected
Connect/disconnect: Short press

Timer
(2H/4H/8H) Set the timer to have the device turn off automatically

Sleep Mode
Lowest fan speed level that is ultra-quiet

On/Off
Powers the device on and off

Auto Mode
Blue: Air Quality Good
Yellow: Air Quality Moderate
Red: Air Quality Poor

Fan Speed
(1/2/3) Three fan speeds

Plasma On/Off
Press the icon to toggle the plasma
purification function on or off
Filter Replacement

Indicator
After changing filter, press for
3 seconds to reset the filter life countdown

Connectivity

Sciaire Mini + HEPA can connect with your smart device when you download the DH Lifelabs App.
Follow the steps below and/or in the App. Works with Google Home or Amazon Alexa.

1. On your smartphone, install DH Lifelabs app and turn your Bluetooth function on.
2. Turn the device on.
3. Open DH Lifelabs app and add the device.
4. When the app indicates, press and hold the Wi-Fi Indicator for 3 seconds.
5. The app should connect to the device over your Wi-Fi network and the Wi-Fi Indicator will illuminate amber.

To disconnect from the network, press the Wi-Fi Indicator. The device will beep and the indicator will illuminate red.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Always unplug the device if not in use and while cleaning. When the device is not used for an extended time, store it in a cool dry place. Do not store the device where it might be exposed to excess moisture or direct sunlight. May not operate effectively in freezing temperatures. Use a dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Do not use any chemicals or cleaners.

Cleaning the Air Quality Sensor
The inlet for the air quality sensor is located at the back of the device as shown. The inlet should be cleaned every 2 months using a vacuum or with a cotton swab that has been lightly moistened with clean water.
