KROM KEXAL Advanced Wireless Gamepad

DEFAULT FUNCTIONS AND ELEMENTS

PAIRING AND CONNECTING THE GAMEPAD

Android V3 Direct play mode
Press and hold A + HOME at the same time for 3 seconds to enter V3 direct play mode
(Android), LED1 will flash fast, turn on the BT on your Android device, find and select “Krom Kexal” to connect, LED1 will stay on after connecting successfully.
If the gamepad has been connected before, you can press HOME to reconnect, LED1 will flash slowly, then it will reconnect automatically.

Android V3 Standard mode
Press and hold X + HOME at the same time for 3 seconds to enter Android Standard mode, LED3 will flash quickly, turn on BT on your Android device, search and select “Krom Kexal” to connect, LED3 will stay on after connecting successfully.
If the gamepad has been connected before, you can press HOME to reconnect, LED3 will flash slowly, then it will reconnect automatically.

IOS mode (for IOS 13.0 version or above)
Press and hold B + HOME at the same time for 3 seconds to enter IOS mode, LED2 will flash quickly, turn on BT on your Android device, search and select “Krom Kexal” to connect, LED2 will stay on after connecting successfully.
If the gamepad has been connected before, you can press HOME to reconnect, LED2 will flash slowly, then it will reconnect automatically.

Nintendo SwitchTM wireless mode
Press and hold R2 + HOME at the same time for 3 seconds to enter SwitchTM mode, LED will blink rapidly, after pairing the LED will be solid.
If the gamepad has been connected before, you can press HOME to reconnect, the LED indicator will flash slowly, then it will reconnect automatically.
When charging the gamepad while connected, the current LED will blink until the device is fully charged.

Nintendo SwitchTM and PC 2.4 GHz wireless mode
If your PC or SwitchTM doesn’t have BT, you can use the included 2.4G receiver. Press and hold L1 + HOME at the same time for 3 seconds to enter 2.4G mode. LED1 & LED2 will blink rapidly, LED1 & LED2 will be steady after connecting.
The default mode is X-Input, press and hold SELECT + START for 3 seconds to switch to
D-Input mode.

Nintendo SwitchTM and PC wired mode
The gamepad will be automatically recognized by the system when connected by cable. Plug in the cable to connect the gamepad, LED1-LED4 will flash.

  1. The default mode in PC is X-Input, LED1 will be steady.
    Press and hold HOME 3 seconds to switch to D-Input mode, then LED2 will be on steady.

  2. SwitchTM will automatically assign a LED indicator which will remain fixed after connection.

EXTRA BUTTONS & MAPPING FUNCTION

Mapping the extra buttons
Side buttons S1 / S2 and bottom buttons S3 / S4 are configurable.
Each button can be mapped to replicate another individual button or a combination of up to 10 actions maximum. They will be recorded in the internal memory of the gamepad.
Mapping method

  1. Press and hold the desired button (S1, S2, S3 or S4) and the START button at the same time, release the buttons once the LED has lightly flashed.
  2. Press the button or buttons to be replicated up to a maximum of 10 among the following (A, B, X, Y, L1, L2, L3, R1, R2, R3, UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT)
  3. Press the button to be mapped again to confirm and exit the mode, the LED that was flashing will stop flashing.

Clear mapped buttons

  1. Press and hold the desired button (S1, S2, S3 or S4) and the START button at the same time, release the buttons once the LED has lightly flashed.
  2. Press the mapping button again to cancel and delete the previously recorded info.

Turbo function

  1. Turbo functions is available for A, B, X, Y, L, R, ZL, ZR buttons.
  2. Press and hold the chosen button and then lightly press the TURBO button. TURBO mode will now be on.
  3. Press and hold the chosen button and then lightly press the CLEAR button. TURBO mode will now be off.
  4. The TURBO functions have no memory so they will reset every time you turn off the gamepad.

Restore factory settings
Press and hold the S3, S4 and START buttons at the same time for 3 seconds.

What the warranty does not cover

  1. Any product, on which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed.
  2. Accident, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, or other acts of nature, unauthorized production, or failure to follow instructions supplied with the product.
  3. Repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by KROM gaming.
  4. Damage to or loss of any programs, data or removable storage media.
  5. Software or data loss occurring during repair or replacement.
  6. Any damage of the product due to shipment.
  7. Removal or installation of the product.
  8. External causes, such as electric power fluctuations or failure.
  9. Use of supplies or parts not meeting KROM gaming´s specifications.
  10. Normal wear and tear.
  11. Any other cause which does not relate to a product defect.
