Product Usage Instructions
- Before installation, ensure that the vehicle has cooled down and wear eye protection when working on or under any vehicle.
- Route the ORANGE wire from the SOTF switch through the firewall to the Intake Air Temperature Sensor (IAT) and secure it away from hot surfaces or moving parts.
- Unplug the IAT sensor and carefully cut back approximately 1.5 inches of protective wire sheathing. Ensure not to cut into the actual wires when removing the protective sheathing.
- Connect the ORANGE wire from the SOTF switch into the corresponding location on the plug (part B included in your kit) that lines up with the PURPLE wire of the IAT sensor.
- Connect the GDP plug to the factory male side plug and ensure it fully snaps into place for a sure connection.
- To troubleshoot your switch, set your switch to position 1 and turn key to the run position (engine off or on).
- Test the switch on the flywire (Orange Wire), and check the voltage levels against the readings in the manual. If the readings do not match, check your connections and pins to ensure that they are not bent or broken and that there is no debris stopping the pins from being inserted completely.
