USER GUIDE
**Product performance, main structure composition, working principle,
working conditions, applicable scope and contraindication
**
1.1 Product structure and composition
The electric hospital bed is a combined electric-driven device with a network
power supply and an internal power supply. It consists of bed surface part
(back board, seat board, leg board, foot board), bed frame part (front and
rear headboards, left and right guardrails), lower bed frame part (lifting
mechanism, central control mechanism, casters), electric control part (lifting
and lowering Motor, back plate motor, leg plate motor, upright motor, opening

1.3 Product function
– Back lifting; – Leg lifting; – Vertical lifting; – Front tilting; – Back
tilting; – Perform CPR. – Bed upright
1.4 Product feature
– Back angle (0-73°±5°), knee angle (0-30°±5°), height adjustment (780mm-480mm
(±50mm)), tilt (13°±2°) and reverse tilt (13°±2°), the posture of the bed is
realized by electric operation, and it is equipped with indicator lights to
display the execution status of the function.
– An emergency stop button is installed on the right side of the patient’s bed
to stop the movement of the bed in an emergency.
– Equipped with a battery to deal with emergencies such as power outages.
– Use the central control brake when standing upright, and add a dedicated
ground brake, which is more secure and reliable.
– A circular degree display sticker is designed on the guardrail. The circular
display sticker is engraved with the degree of inclination, and there are
steel balls in it. When the bed panel is inclined, the degree of circularity.
The steel ball in the digital display will scroll to the corresponding
position with the tilt angle, and has the function of displaying the degree of
tilt.
– The back panel of the bed has a quick release function. After the back panel
is folded up, you can quickly return to the horizontal position by pulling the
CPR wrench.
1.5 Working principle
The drive motor in the electric push rod is decelerated by the worm gear, and
then the rotary motion of the motor is changed into linear motion through the
screw and nut structure.
Reverse to complete the putter action. The push rod realizes various actions
of the electric hospital bed through the movement of various levers, rockers
or connecting rods.
1.6 Working condition
The intended use of this product is in hospitals, nursing homes and similar
care facilities.
The expected usage environment requirements are as follows:
a) Ambient temperature range: 5℃~40℃;
b) Relative humidity range: 30%-75%;
c) Atmospheric pressure range: 700hpa~1060hpa;
d) Power supply: AC 220V±22V, 50Hz±1Hz.
e) Internal working voltage: DC 24V
1.7 Scope of application &contraindication
1.7.1 Scope of application
Used during diagnosis, treatment, or monitoring of an adult patient under
medical supervision to support the patient’s body in a clinically required
position.
1.7.2 Target user
It is suitable for adult patients who need nursing and recuperation.
1.7.3 Contraindication
There have been no reports.
Precautions
– Please be careful not to put your head, hands, feet, etc. into the gap
between the guardrail and the headboard and footboard;
– Please do not put your hands (fingers) and feet between the bed body and the
bed panel;
– Please do not sneak under the bed, or put your hands and feet under the bed;
– Please do not sit on the side rails of the bed and on the head and tail
boards;
– Please do not sit on the rising bed panel;
– Please do not climb, play, jump on the bed or use the bed as a climbing
platform
– Please confirm again whether the patient has been fixed by straps before
operating the bed to stand upright. The upright operation should be carried
out slowly while observing the patient’s condition.
– Please do not clamp the power cable, and do not be caught by the power cable
on the casters!
A safety hazard can result if the power cord is not handled properly, such as
rollers running over cables or wires,
pinching between the head/foot plate assembly and moving parts. Therefore,
patients and medical staff should not use the roller to press the cable
through the cable,pay attention to the squeezing between the head/foot plate
assembly and the movable parts.
– When it is necessary to go under the bed for cleaning and other work, please
unplug the power plug.
– When using the guardrail, please check whether the lift is in place to avoid
unnecessary danger.
– When installing the headboard and footboard,please be careful to hold it
firmly to avoid accidental fall of the headboard and footboard.
– After the electric hospital bed is fixed, please step on the brake; when you
need to move the electric hospital bed, you should release the brake first to
prevent damage to the casters.
– When patient conditions, such as disorientation due to medication or
clinical conditions, may cause the patient to become stuck, the mattress
support should be left unattended in a flat position (unless medical personnel
circumstances may require otherwise).
– Please note that when unattended, to reduce the risk of injury if the
patient rolls off the bed when getting in, out of bed or lying in bed, please
place the bed in the lowest position.
– If any moving parts injure people, please turn off the power switch or
unplug the power cord immediately.
– Upright training should be carried out gradually from a low angle under the
guidance of a professional physician.
– Please do not assemble and use with products other than the designated
products, and please do not repair or modify it by yourself.
– Do not use in the presence of flammable anesthetic gas mixed with air or
with oxygen or nitrous oxide.
– When not in use for a long time, please unplug the power cord.
– The power cord should be connected to a well-grounded outlet. If the power
cord is found to be damaged, stop using it immediately, otherwise there is a
danger of electric shock.
– In the event of a sudden power failure,the backup battery power will
automatically start,and the handheld controller can be operated for more than
ten times of various functions, so as to restore the required functions of the
hospital bed urgently.
– Accidentally pressing the function button of the hand control may cause harm
to the patient, so before using it, you should click the button to confirm
that the operation is correct, and then continue to operate to make the bed
reach the desired position of the patient.
– Batteries cannot be used normally after being used or stored for two years.
Discarded batteries should be properly disposed of in accordance with relevant
national environmental protection requirements to avoid environmental
pollution.
– The bed should be checked by professionals at least once a year, and hidden
safety hazards should be eliminated in time to reduce the risks during use.

Installation

Place the electric hospital bed on a level ground and keep the contact with the ground steady.

Install the head/foot board assembly:
Open the bed head/tail board hook, align the bed head and bed tail pins respectively, and fasten the lock. (high headboard and low footboard) (Figure 1). -
The product can work normally when connected to the power supply. Check all the movements with no load, and confirm that the height and angle of the lift are consistent with the given ones, and the operation is stable, and there is no noise or abnormal sound.
Operation instruction
4.1 Hand controller keyboard function description
a) The indicator light is on, the hand controller is powered on and can be
controlled.
b) Press it again, the power is turned off, and the hand control cannot work.
c) Reset key—-press the bed body to be horizontal, and the bed surface stops
at the highest position;
d) Power key—-Hand control power switch. Press the power indicator of the hand
controller to light up, the hand controller is powered and can be controlled.
Press it again, the power turns off, and the hand control doesn’t work.
e) “Hall sensor reset” operation:
Press the “back up” and “leg up” buttons of the hand controller at the same
time for more than 3 seconds, the indicator light of the hand controller
flashes continuously, and the bed body moves: the bed surface stops at the
highest position, the bed legs are retracted, and the bed surface is flat
state.
Note: (Erect motor and open-leg motor have built-in Hall sensing
elements, and occasionally there will be errors in reading data, resulting in
uncoordinated actions of erect and open-leg motors. At this time, the Hall
sensor needs to be reset to zero)
Warning: When the bed is tilted more than 35 degrees, it is strictly
forbidden to perform the “Hall sensor reset” operation. At this time, the bed
tilt angle should be adjusted to less than 35 degrees before performing the
“Hall sensor reset” operation. 4.2 Low voltage alarm
When there is no AC power and battery power supply, the buzzer in the drive
box will beep when the battery voltage is lower than 16V. At this time, AC
power needs to be connected to charge the battery; when the battery voltage is
greater than 16V, the buzzer will automatically stop beeping.
4.3 Casters locking
4.3.1 Rear casters locking
Step on the red side of the rear casters brake pedal, the casters will be
locked.(Figure 3.1)
Step on the green side, the casters will be unlocked.(Figure 3.2)
4.3.2 Front casters locking
Step on the brake switch (long handle) of the front casters,the casters will
be locked.(Figure 4.1)
Step on the unlock switch (short handle), the casters will be unlocked.(Figure
4.2) 4.3.3 Ground brakes locking
After the bed is upright, step on the long handle of the ground brake. The
ground brake will extend to complete the positioning brake, as shown in Figure
5.1.
When the uprigh training is over, step on the short handle of the ground
brake. The ground brake will retract and the ground brake will be released, as
shown in Figure 5.2. 4.4 Guardrail lifting
If the guardrail needs to be raised, the guardrail will be automatically
locked after being raised to the highest position.
To lower the guardrail, please pull the guardrail switch, you can lower the
guardrail (Figure 6). 4.5 Emergency release of back plate
When the back plate is folded, if the patient has sudden insufficiency of
blood supply to the head and needs to change to supine position in an
emergency, pull the quick release handle to quickly flatten the back plate
(Figure 7). Emergency release operators are limited to medical
professionals who are fully aware of the patient’s condition and are used only
in emergency situations.
4.6 Upright training
4.6.1 Preparation
The rear casters of the bed should be locked for upright operation.
The front casters shall be free to move.
The ground brakes (foot nails) shall be open.
There should be adequate space at the front end of the bed.
4.6.2 Standing board installation
Position the pad of the standing board toward the patient and insert the two
columns of the standing board into the hole in the bed (Figure 8).
4.6.3 Patient immobilization straps
Move the patient’s foot to a standing board, and secure the patient’s knee,
span, and chest with straps.
Pay attention to moderate strength, and observe the patient’s affected place,
heart, etc., to prevent compression. (Figure 9) 4.6.4 Hand controller
operation
Press the upright button slowly and intermittently, observe the patient’s
condition at the same time.
When the required upright angle is reached, turn off the power button and step
down the ground brakes to make the bed stable.
4.6.5 Operation after training
Release the ground brakes. Press the bed horizontal key slowly and
intermittently until the bed is flat. Remove the patient immobilization straps
and remove the standing board.
4.7 Emergency stop button
The emergency stop button is installed on the patient’s right hand side in the
tilting hospital bed. After pressing the emergency stop button, all movements
of the bed will stop immediately. The hand controller will not operate.
Rotating the emergency stop button to the right, the red button will pop up.
The stop state of the bed will be released. And the bed will resume active
function (Figure 10). – Check and clean the gas struts
– Check and tighten screws (if necessary).
– Grease the parts with friction.
– Check the conditions of the electrical wiring and the socket.
– Check the wheel immobilization system.
RECYCLING
If you need to dispose of the table or any of its parts or accessories, consult and respect the laws and regulations applicable to waste management and protection of the environment.
WARRANTY
This warranty shall remain in effect for 5 years (60 months) for the structure and 3 years (36 months) for the base frame and motor from the date of original consumer purchase. An original sales receipt or proof of purchase may be required in order to redeem the warranty. All repairs to the Product must be performed by a service center certified by Coinfycare. Any modifications or repairs performed by unauthorized centers or groups will void this warranty. This statement of guarantee prevails over any other statement specified or implied by the seller.
CLEANING AND DISINFECTION
Before cleaning the table, unplug it from the mains.
Clean the table after each use. ”
Dust the table with a soft, dry cloth.
To clean the upholstery, apply a solution of warm water and a mild detergent
(for example, neutral soap) with a well wrung soft cloth. Wipe the table over
once cleaned.
Disinfect upholstery and other surfaces with a suitable bactericide for this
purpose.
Apply the disinfectant on a soft cloth, never directly on the table.
Never use a mixture of disinfectants or a mixture of disinfectant and soap.
Wipe the table upholstery over once cleaned & disinfected with a cloth and
water only. This will remove any residue from the upholstery.
Avoid the accumulation of moisture on the moving parts of the metal structure,
as they could rust.
Since we do not know which disinfectant will be used, we cannot guarantee that
it will not cause damage to the upholstery.
Read the instructions and warnings for use of the disinfectant product
carefully before its purchase or use.
TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE CONDITION
Transport condition
The products can be transported by general means of transportation. They
should be protected from the sun and rain, and should not be mixed with toxic,
harmful and corrosive materials.
Storage
The packed electric multifunctional physiotherapy bed should be stored in a
dry and well ventilated environment without corrosive gas.
SHUTDOWN PROCEDURE
Adjust the bed to a suitable position to ensure that the patient is safely
left, then turn off the power.
Contraindication
Please note that our beds are not sterilized.
Please do not use them according to aseptic standards.
