SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • This grill can be used by children from eight years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge, if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the grill and understand the risks involved with its use. Do not allow children to play with the grill. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children unless they are more than eight years old, and are kept under supervision.
  • Keep the grill and its power cord out of the reach of children under eight years of age.
  • Place the grill on a level, dry, heat-resistant surface.
  • Do not use the grill unless both grill plates are properly in place.
  • The grill gets hot when in use. Do not touch hot parts – risk of burn injuries.
  • Only use the grill in a well-ventilated area. Leave at least 10–15 cm of free space on all sides to ensure the adequate circulation of air.
  • Do not place the grill on or near a hot stove, in a hot oven, or near other sources of heat.
  • To avoid a fire risk, do not place the grill near flammable objects, curtains or furniture.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Do not move the grill when the power cord is plugged in. Allow the grill to cool completely before handling.
  • Do not put aluminium foil or other material in the drip tray.
  • Only use accessories and attachments recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Do not use the grill near water or any other liquid.
  • Never immerse the grill in water or any other liquid. Immediately unplug the power cord if the grill gets damp or wet.
  • Do not attempt to pick up an appliance that has been dropped in water.
  • Never leave the grill unattended when switched on. The grill is not intended to be controlled by an external timer or a separate remote control.
  • Do not expose the power cord to pressure. Never use the power cord to carry or pull the grill, or to pull out the plug from the mains.
  •  Do not touch the grill, the power cord or the plug with wet hands.
  • Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of a table or worktop, or to come into contact with hot surfaces.
  • Do not use the grill if the power cord or plug are damaged, if the grill has been exposed to water or is not working properly, or if it has been damaged in some other way.
  • A damaged power cord must be replaced by an authorised service centre, or other qualified personnel, to ensure safe use.
  • The grill is only intended for household use and is not suitable for commercial use. Do not use the grill outdoors, or for any other purpose than the one it is designed for.
  • This product is intended to be used in the home and for other similar uses such as in staff rooms in shops, offices and other workplaces, on farms and by customers at hotels, motels and other accommodation, guest houses and catering, and other similar non-commercial purposes.
  • Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of a table or worktop, or where there is a risk of tripping over it.
  • The grill should be connected to a separate circuit.
  • Do not use an extension cord unless absolutely necessary.
  • The cross-sectional area of the wires in the extension cord must be dimensioned for the power supply to the grill.
  • Do not allow the extension cord to hang over the edge of a table or worktop, or where there is a risk of tripping over it.\

  1. Power light

USE

  1. Remove all the packaging and any stickers.

  2. Wipe the hotplates with a damp cloth and then wipe dry.

  3. Place the product where there is enough free space on all sides to ensure the adequate circulation of air.

  4. Plug in the plug. The red and green status lights come on to show that the product is heating up.

  5. The green status light goes off when the product has the right cooking temperature.

  6. Apply a little cooking fat or oil on the hotplates before using for the first time.
    IMPORTANT:
    Hot steam flows out when opening the lid on the product – risk of scalding. Keep your hands and face away from hot steam.

  7. The green status light goes on and off when the heat is switched on and off to maintain an ideal cooking temperature.

  8. Pull out the plug and allow the product to cool before cleaning.

OPEN/CLOSE

  1. Lift up the top hotplate.
  2. Lift up the hotplate to open the product. The figures show the position of the hinge.

MAINTENANCE

CLEANING
WARNING!

Pull out the plug and allow the product to cool before cleaning. Never immerse the product in water or any other liquid. Do not wind the cord round the product. Do not expose the power cord to pressure. Never use the power cord to carry or pull the product, or to pull out the plug from the mains.

  • Wipe the lid, base and hotplates with a cloth moistened with a mild detergent. Do not use abrasive utensils or detergents. Wipe with a clean, damp cloth and then wipe dry.

STORAGE IMPORTANT

Do not put the product away when it is hot, or before pulling out the plug.

  • Store the product in a clean and dry place.
