Save these instructions ! For your safety, read, understand, and follow the information provided with and on this jack. The owner and operator of this equipment must have an understanding of this jack and safe operating procedures before attempting to use. The owner and operator must be aware that use and repair of this product may require special skills and knowledge. Instructions and safety information shall be conveyed in the operator’s native language before use of this jack is authorized. If any doubt exists as to the safe and proper use of this jack, remove from service immediately. Inspect before each use. Do not use if broken, bent, cracked, or damaged parts (including labels) are noted. Any jack that appears damaged in any way, operates abnormally or is missing parts, shall be removed from service immediately. If the jack has been, or suspected to have been, subjected to a shock load (a load dropped suddenly, unexpectedly upon it), immediately discontinue use and remove from service. It is recommended that an annual inspection be done by qualified personnel.

  • During use, the force required may be greater than 40 kg: another person will be required to assist.
  • The oil level should not be so high that the oil spills out from its housing.
  • It is necessary to check the condition of the markings and that they are identical to the initial markings.
  • Jacks must be maintained and repaired in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Any maintenance or repairs must be done by qualified personnel.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Quick lift Hydraulic Jacks are designed to lift, but not sustain, rated capacity loads. It is designed to be used in conjunction with jack stands. The Quick lift Floor Jack has a unique feature which provides fast, no load lifts to the jacking point. Intended use : To lift one axle of a vehicle for the purpose of service and / or repair of vehicle components. After lifting, loads must be immediately supported by appropriately rated jack stands. Check with vehicle owner’s manual for proper lift points.

BEFORE USE

  1. Verify that the product and the application are compatible.
  2. Before using this product, read the owners manual completely and familiarize yourself thoroughly with the product, its components and recognize the hazards associated with its use.
  3. Check to ensure that the jack rolls freely and that the pump operates smoothly before putting into service.

WARNING!
Study, understand, and follow all instructions provided with and on this device. Do not exceed rated capacity. This is a lifting device only. After lifting, immediately transfer the load to appropriately rated vehicle stands. Never work on, under, or around a load supported by this device. Use only on hard, level surfaces capable of sustaining rated on capacity loads. Do not move or dolly loads with this device. Failure to heed this warning may result in personal injury and/or property damage.

WARNING!
To avoid crushing and related injuries: NEVER work on, under or around a load supported only by a jack. ALWAYS use adequately rated jack stands.

SAFETY MESSAGE !
Be sure all tools and personnel are clear before lowering load. No alterations shall be made to this device. Only attachments and/or adaptors supplied by the manufacturer shall be used. Lift only on areas of the vehicle as specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

OPERATION

Lifting (refer to Fig. 1, Page 3)

  1. Place vehicle in park, with emergency brake on and wheels securely chocked to prevent inadvertent vehicle movement.
  2. Locate and close release valve by turning handle clockwise until firm resistance is felt to further thread engagement. Center jack saddle under lift point.
  3. Verify lift point, insert handle into handle sleeve and pump to contact lift point. To lift, pump handle until load reaches desired height.
  4. Transfer the load immediately to appropriately rated jack stands.

Lowering

  1. Raise load high enough to clear the jack stands, then carefully remove jack stands (always used in pairs).
  2. Slowly turn the handle anti-clockwise, but no more than a 1/2 full turn.
  3. After removing jack from under the load, push saddle down to reduce ram exposure to rust and contamination.

MAINTENANCE

Use only a good grade hydraulic oil (e.g. Mobil TDE 13M or equivalent).

STORAGE

When not in use, store the jack with saddle fully lowered.

The workshop equipment has been manufactured according to strict standards set by our company, which are aligned with the respective European quality standards. The workshop equipment is provided with a warranty period of 12 months. The warranty is valid from the date of purchase of the product. Proof of the warranty right is the purchase document of the workshop equipment (retail receipt or invoice). Under no circumstances shall the company cover the relevant cost of spare parts and respective required working hours unless a copy of the purchase document is presented. In case the repair has to be done by our service department the cost of transportation (to and from) is entirely borne by the sender (client). The said equipment must be sent for repair to the company or to an authorized workshop in the appropriate way and means of transport.

WARRANTY EXEMPTIONS AND RESTRICTIONS:

  1. Spare parts that wear out naturally as a consequence of being used.
  2. Workshop equipment damaged as a result of non-compliance with the instructions of the manufacturer.
  3. Workshop equipment poorly maintained or taken care of.
  4. Use of improper spare parts or accessories.
  5. Workshop equipment given to third entities free of charge.
  6. Damage as a result of mistaken assembly.
  7. Damage as a result of poor quality of lubricant.
  8. Damage as a result of not cleaning the equipment as required.
  9. Equipment that has been modified or disassembled by unauthorized personnel.
  10. Equipment used for rent.

The warranty covers only the free of charge replacement of the component that presents a manufacturing defect or material failure. In case of lack of a specific spare part the company reserves the right to replace the equipment with another of the same kind. After all warranty procedures have been concluded, the warranty period of the equipment shall not be extended or renewed. The spare parts or equipment that are replaced remain in the possession of our company. Requirements, other than those mentioned in this warranty form, regarding repairing a piece of equipment or damage thereof, do not apply. Greek law and relative regulations apply to this warranty.

WARRANTY

This appliance is a quality product. It was designed in compliance with current technical standards and made carefully using normal, good quality
materials. The warranty period is 12 months and commences on the date of purchase, which can be verified by the receipt, invoice or delivery note.
During this warranty period all functional errors, which, despite the careful treatment de-scribed in our operating manual, are verifiably due to material flaws, will be rectified by our after-sales service staff. The warranty takes the form that defective parts will be repaired or replaced with perfect parts free of charge at our discretion. Replaced parts will become our property. Repair work or the replacement of individual parts will not extend the warranty period not will it result in a new warranty period being commenced for the appliance. No separate warranty period will commence for spare parts that may be ted. We cannot offer a warranty for damage and defects on appliances or their parts caused by the use of excessive force, improper treatment and servicing. This also applies for failures to comply with the operating manual and the installation or spare and accessory parts that are not included in our range of products. In the event of interference with of modifications to the appliance by unauthorized persons, the warranty will be rendered void. Damages that are attributable to improper handling, over loading, or natural wear and tear are excluded from the guarantee. Damages caused by the manufacturer or by a material defect will be corrected at no charge by repair or by providing spare parts. The prerequisite is that the equipment is handed over assembled, and complete with the proof of sale and guarantee. For a
guarantee claim, only use the original packaging. That way, we can guarantee quick and smooth guarantee processing. Please send us the appliances postpaid or request a Freeway sticker. Unfortunately we will be unable to accept appliances that are not postpaid. The warranty does not cover parts that are subject to natural wear and tear.
