Installation and Specification Guide
The Tank Screen Covers prevent algae growth by blocking sunlight from entering the tank while still allowing rainwater to flow through. The covers are available in three sizes; 300mm, 400mm, and 500mm (code TASS23, TASS21, and TASS22 respectively). They are sold globally and can be purchased from rainharvesting.com.

Installation Guide
The Tank Screen Cover comes with all the necessary parts for installation. You may need an elbow (optional) and a tin snip or hole saw to install the cover. Follow the steps below to install the Tank Screen Cover:
- First, clean the tank screen to ensure it is free of debris.
- Place the Tank Screen Cover over the tank screen, ensuring that it is centered on the screen.
- If required, use an elbow to adjust the angle of the cover for proper fit.
- Use either a tin snip or a hole saw to cut a hole in the cover to accommodate the inlet pipe. Ensure that the hole is centered and not too large.
- The Tank Screen Cover is now installed and ready for use.
Maintenance
When properly installed, the Tank Screen Cover should be maintenance-free.
However, it is recommended to lift it up occasionally to inspect and maintain
the tank screen beneath it.
Alternatively, consider installing a Maelstrom Filter as a replacement for the
Tank Screen and Tank Cover.
Compliance
The Tank Screen Covers comply with AS/NZS 4020:2005 Testing of products for use in contact with drinking water.

Installation
WHAT’S IN THE BOX?
- Tank Screen Cover
TOOLS/MATERIALS YOU MAY REQUIRE
- Elbow (optional)
- Tin snips or hole saw
TANK SCREEN COVER
- If necessary, install an elbow so that the pipes feeding your tank are angled down towards the tank screen cover.
- Using the provided cutting guidelines and tin snips or a hole saw, cut a hole (or holes) in your Tank Screen Cover to fit the pipe/s and/or elbow/s feeding your tank.
- Lift the pipe/s and/or elbow/s and maneuver the Tank Screen Cover into place over your tank screen.
- Push the pipe/s and/or elbow/s through the cut holes to maintain a sunproof barrier over the tank screen cover and ensure all water flows through to the screen.

Maintenance
- When properly installed, your Tank Screen Cover should be maintenance-free. However, we recommend lifting it up occasionally to inspect and maintain the Tank Screen beneath it.
- Alternatively, you may wish to consider installing a Maelstrom Filter rather than using a Tank Screen and Tank Cover.
