Usage
Before using the device, make sure to charge the battery in direct sunlight for one day:
- Install the battery.
- Mount the device in a suitable location where there is sufficient sunlight.
- Turn the device on.
- The device will automatically turn on at night and turn off during the day.
- The motion sensor will detect movement within its range and turn on the light.
- When not in use, turn off the device to save battery life.
- Dispose of batteries properly by placing them in a battery container or returning them to a retailer.
- Avoid using non-rechargeable batteries as they can be harmful to the environment.
- Do not short-circuit the battery terminals or dispose of batteries in a fire as they may explode.
- Remove rechargeable batteries from the device before recharging them.
- Do not attempt to carry the device with you while it is on.

- The device is intended exclusively for private and not for commercial use. Only use this device as describe in this instruction manual.
- When disconnecting the cable, always pull at the plug; do not pull on the cable itself.

- In the event of incorrect use, battery fluid could leak, which could lead to skin irritations and burns. If a battery has leak, avoid contact between your skin and eyes and the battery acid. In the event of contact with battery acid, rinse the affected areas instantly with plenty of fresh deeming water and immediately consult a doctor.
HOW TO USE IT

Operation
To check the battery, please cover the upper part of the device, then it should turn on. Please note that the battery has to be charged first.
For testing the device before setting it to its definitive place, let it completely charge as described below.
Once completely charged, place the switch ❸ to the ON position and cover the solar panel ❶ with your hand or a clean fabric.
Press the switch button ❸ to select the mode as below- Press once : enter Mode 1 : Stay on All Night Mode: The light turns on automatically night and stay all night.
- Press the switch button a second time : it will enter into Mode 2 : Dim Light Mode: The motion sensor turns dim light into high light for 30s when motion detected.
- P ress the switch button a third time : it will enter into Mode 3 : Security Light Mode: When it detects motion at night, motion sensor turns high light for 30s and off automatically.
Caution, the LED light is very strong, to test your item, you should orientate the spot into a wall. Never orientate the light to a person or to your eyes!
Remove the fabric from the solar panel, the LED light is automatically OFF during daytime due to the built in photosensor. Set your solar light in the place you want, it will automatically turn ON at night:
Setting in the selected place
Before the first use, let the solar panel exposed to the sun light during 1 or
2 sunny days in a view to correctly and fully charge the battery.
Once the device is correctly charged, you are ready to use it.

Choose a place well exposed to daylight so that the solar collector can recharge properly.

Make sure the solar panel is not placed in the shadow during the day: this will prevent the charging process.

Avoid areas close to an active light source at night such as streetlights that may prevent the solar collector from working properly.
Battery performance is lower at very cold outdoor temperatures. This could affect the luminous efficiency and performance of the product.
SOLAR FUNCTION -
By converting sunlight into electricity, the solar panels charge the built-in battery during the day and automatically turn on the lantern at dusk. The number of hours of illumination depends on the duration and intensity of the sunlight during the day.

Drill two holes in the right place for the dowels (or tightening screws)

- Don’t immerse into water.
- To clean the item, use a clean and dry fabric. Do not use corrosive product.
- Take care of cleaning the solar panel.
- For any maintenance or fixing operations, entrust a qualified person to this item for fixing operations.

The European directive 2012/19/EC about electronic and electric waste, requires that you can’t throw away defective domestic appliance with common waste. Used device has to be collect separately to optimize the recuperation rate and the recycling of the materials to reduce the impact on the health and the environment.
Precision and precautions about the battery use
- Throwing away a used battery in the environment or with household waste pollutes and avoids the recuperation of reusable materials.
- It is important to limit the battery consumption and to respect the following rules:
- Favor alkaline battery (last longer than saline battery) and when it’s possible use rechargeable battery.
- Leave used batteries and accumulators in adapted containers that you can find in some retailers. In that way, metals don’t pollute the environment and the health.
- Battery has to be inserted by respecting the polarity show on the apparel and the battery. An incorrect positioning can damage the apparel, cause leaking and even provoke fire and the explosion of the battery.
- To assure a good functioning, battery has to be in a good condition. If there is a problem, put new battery.
- Never try to recharge battery not made for this. It could leak, warm up, cause fire or explode.
