Product Information: VTA QUICK GUIDE
The VTA QUICK GUIDE is a user manual for the Drive 3-Button Wall Control. It
provides wiring instructions for both the Quick Release
Model (E) and Emergency Chain Hoist Model (KE) of the external wall control
connection. The product comes with a Control Board Wiring
Diagram that shows the Connection Port XB50 for both models.
Product Usage Instructions
Follow the below steps to use the VTA QUICK GUIDE:
Wiring Instructions for Quick Release Model (E)
- Run wire from close on wall station to close terminal on operator (Terminal 7 – second from right)
- Run wire from open on wall station to open terminal on operator (Terminal 6 – third from right)
Wiring Instructions for Emergency Chain Hoist Model (KE)
- Run wire from close on wall station to close terminal on operator (Terminal 7 – second from right)
- Run wire from open on wall station to open terminal on operator (Terminal 6 – third from right)
- Run wire from common on wall station and splice with the wire removed from Terminal 5 on operator
- Leave existing wire in Terminal B5 on operator

Refer to the Connection Port XB50 in the Control Board Wiring Diagram
provided in the user manual to complete the wiring process.
Drive 3-Button Wall Control Wiring Instructions
External wall control connection Quick Release Model (E)
- Run wire from close on wall station to close terminal on operator (Terminal 7 – second from right)
- Run wire from open on wall station to open terminal on operator (Terminal 6 – third from right)
- Run wire from stop on wall station to stop terminal on operator ( Terminal B5 – first on the left)
- Run wire from common side of the wall station to impulse terminal on operator ( Terminal 5 – second from left

- Run wire from close on wall station to close terminal on operator (Terminal 7 – second from right)
- Run wire from open on wall station to open terminal on operator (Terminal 6 – third from right)
- Remove existing wire from Terminal 5 on operator and run wire from stop on wall station to impulse on operator (Terminal 5 – fifth from right)
- Run wire from common on wall station and splice with the wire removed from Terminal 5 on operator
- Leave existing wire in Terminal B5 on operator
