SAFETY GUIDANCE

WARNING! For your child’s safety and health.

  • Always use this product with adult supervision. Accidents have occurred when babies have been left alone with drinking equipment due to the baby falling or if the product has disassembled.
  • Never use spouts as a soother. Continuous and prolonged sucking of fluids will cause tooth decay. Tooth decay in young children can occur even when non-sweetened fluids are used. This can occur if the baby is allowed to use the cup for long periods through the day and particularly through the night, when saliva flow is reduced or if it is used as a soother.
  • Always check food temperature before feeding.
  • Not suitable for microwave use apart from sterilising. See cleaning and sterilisation instructions below.

CLEANING AND STERILIZATION

FILTER

  • Before first use, submerge the filter in water for at least 20 minutes. This will thoroughly wet the filter to ensure easy flow from first use.
  • Do not clean or wash the filter with soapy water.
  • Do not place the filter in the dishwasher or sterilise using steam (electric and microwave), boiling or cold water tablet/liquid solution.
  • FILTER MUST BE REPLACED EVERY 150 LITRES/40 GALLONS OR AFTER 2 MONTHS, WHICH EVER COMES FIRST, TO GUARANTEE PERFORMANCE.

BOTTLE AND LID

  • Remove filter from cup.
  • Before first use, clean the product. Clean before each use.
  • Always wash the product immediately after use.
  • Wash in warm soapy warmer and rinse in clean water or use a dishwasher (top shelf only). Do not clean with solvents or harsh chemicals.
  • Do not allow product to come into contact with oil based foods (e.g. oil/ tomato based sauces) as staining will occur.
  • Suitable for sterilization by steam (electric and microwave), boiling or cold water tablet/liquid solution.

STORAGE AND USE

  • Inspect before each use and pull the spout in all directions. Throw away at the first signs of damage or weakness.
  • Do not store or leave in direct sunlight or near a source of heat.
  • Do not store with or allow to come into contact with solvents or harsh chemicals.
  • Not suitable for use in a conventional oven or a combination microwave oven with the grill feature switched on.
  • Not suitable for hot or fizzy (carbonated) drinks.
  • Do not use hot water (maximum temperature 85oF/29oC).
  • Do not freeze bottle or filter (minimum temperature 34oF/1oC).
  • Empty water from your tommee tippee filter bottle before storing and loosen cap from the bottle to prevent odors. After period of non-use, or as required, wash bottle following the cleaning and sterilization instructions.

DO NOT WASH FILTER WITH SOAPY WATER.

  • Not intended as a squeeze bottle.
  • For individual use only.

FILTER STORAGE AND USE

  • Before first use, submerge the filter in water for at least 20 mins. This will thoroughly wet the filter to ensure easy flow from first use.
  • If the filter is to be left unused it should be removed from the bottle and air dried prior to storage.
  • When the filter is to be used again, follow above instructions for first use.

BEFORE FIRST USE, SUBMERGE THE FILTER IN WATER FOR AT LEAST 20 MINUTES. THIS WILL THOROUGHLY WET THE FILTER TO ENSURE EASY FLOW FROM FIRST USE. THIS CUP IS DESIGNED TO FILTER WATER. IT SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR OTHER BEVERAGES.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHANGING FILTER

  1. Unscrew the lid. (Fig. 1)
  2. Turn the filter anti-clockwise to remove the filter. (Fig. 2)
  3. Remove the new filter from all packaging.
  4. Submerge the filter in water for at least 20 minutes. This will thoroughly wet the filter to ensure easy flow from first use.
  5. Insert filter into the top of the lid and gently turn clockwise (Fig 3a) until it hits the stop. It is in the correct position when the grills on the filter alight with the spout (Fig 3b). Do not over tighten.
  6. Replace the lid on base and tighten until it stops. Do not over tighten. (Fig. 4)

This product is intended for use with mains tap water only. 1 filter will last for over 400 refills, 150 litres/40 gallons or 2 months, which ever comes first. The filter must be replaced after this to guarantee performance.

Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
