Product Information

ECC0355R RHS Engine Case Cover for BMW S1000RR 2009-2019 Pulse Cover

The ECC0355R RHS Engine Case Cover is a protective cover designed for use on BMW S1000RR motorcycles manufactured between 2009 to 2019. The cover is made by R&G and features a pulse cover design that adds an extra layer of protection to the engine case. The kit includes one engine case cover, two spacers, and a skidder that are pre-fitted onto the cover. The cover is made of high-quality materials that offer excellent resistance against impact and abrasion. The cover is also lightweight and easy to install, making it an ideal choice for riders who want to protect their engine case without compromising on performance or adding unnecessary weight to their motorcycle.

Product Usage Instructions

Before proceeding with the installation of the ECC0355R RHS Engine Case Cover, ensure that all components in the kit are present. Refer to page one of the user manual for a complete list of parts included in the kit.

  1. Begin by removing the existing low-profile spacers from the engine case.
  2. Next, remove the rubber washer, if present, from the M6 bolts on the engine case.
  3. Install the ECC0355R RHS Engine Case Cover onto the engine case using the M6 x 35mm long cap head bolts provided in the kit.
  4. Attach the engine case cover onto the motorcycle frame using the M6 x 30mm long special counter-sunk bolts (M0577) and low-profile spacers provided in the kit. Ensure that the spacers are in place before tightening the bolts.
  5. Tighten all bolts to the recommended torque settings provided in the user manual.
  6. After installation, inspect the installation of the engine case cover and ensure that there are no loose components or gaps between the cover and the engine case.

If you have any doubts or questions during the installation process, consult one of R&G’s dealers or have a qualified technician fit the product.
