Important Notes:

  • Wood is a natural material which can breathe, as well as make noises during use of the machine. Wood can cause splinters and show irregularities in pattern, color and shape.
  • These are not reasons for complaint.
  • Wood can respond to environmental influences and regularly expand/contract. Check all fittings regularly and before use of the Sprintbok.
  • We recommend assembling the unit with two adult, skilled people. Be sure to have enough space to assemble the Sprintbok. Please keep the packaging material until the unit is safely ready for use.

Caution:
Contains small parts not suitable for children under 3 years! Children must be supervised by an adult at all times! Max. user weight is 160kg.

Safety Instructions

Please carefully read the following safety instructions for the correct use, handling and maintenance of your new fitness equipment. Keep this Owner’s Manual for future reference. Following these instructions carefully will ensure safe use of your equipment at all times.

  1. This exercise equipment is intended for adult use only, to improve physical fitness, and should be used for this purpose only. In case of non-observance, the manufacturer cannot be made liable.
  2. Do not use the machine if one or several original parts are damaged, show signs of wear and tear, or are not fully functional. Replace any default parts with original parts from the manufacturer only, as damaged parts can affect safety.
  3. Incorrect repair work or spare parts that are not from the manufacturer can lead to damage and harm. In this case, the manufacturer cannot be made liable.
  4. Changes to the original design of the equipment can lead to damages and/or physical injuries. Changes on the machine should only be carried out by professional employees from the manufacturer.
  5. Tighten the fixation screws on a regular basis (min. every two months) as wood is a natural material and can expand/contract. Use the tools included with your purchase. During this procedure, be sure to check the machine for damages and default parts.
  6. Any person who uses this piece of exercise equipment, especially children, must be informed and made aware of these safety risks before use. Children should never use the equipment without the supervision of a well-informed adult.
  7. Before use, make sure you are in good physical and conditional health. Consult your physician. The wrong usage of the exercise equipment, as well as excessive exercise, can damage your health. Increase your exercise and build up your overall condition slowly.

Handling Instructions

  • Use the machine for its intended purpose – stamina training for adults.
  • Check that all parts are present and undamaged before assembly or use.
  • Assemble the unit with two adult, skilled people following the assembly instructions provided and ensure there is enough space to assemble it.
  • Keep the packaging material until the unit is safely ready for use.
  • Do not allow children under 3 years to use the equipment as it contains small parts.
  • Children must be supervised by an adult at all times when using the equipment.
  • The maximum user weight is 160kg.
  • Do not use the Sprintbok before fully assembling, completely reading and understanding the safety instructions.
  • Read carefully about all adjustment possibilities your equipment features. Adjust the equipment to your level of physical condition.
  • Check all fixtures before use.
  • Keep the Sprintbok in a dry area. Humidity (eg. in swimming pool area or similar) can lead to corrosion of the metal parts.
  • Clean your Sprintbok after every use with a damp cloth. Do not use chemicals, as they can damage the surface of the material.
  • Children may not use the Sprintbok without adult supervision. During exercise make sure no other people (mainly child-ren) interfere or reach into moving parts of the equipment. Moving cables or other parts can lead to severe physical injuries.
  • Always wear suitable exercise apparel when using the machine.
  • For overall care of your equipment’s wood, we recommend the use of our maintenance kit.

General Assembly Information:

  • Unpack your equipment carefully and check for transportation damages. Keep the packaging material until you have successfully assembled and used the Sprintbok.
  • Check the delivery is complete.
  • The delivery contents are listed in the List of Parts“ section of this manual. If you find damaged parts or parts are missing, please contact your local dealer or manufacturer.
  • Make sure you have enough space to complete the assembly. For Sprintbok assembly and initial operation min.
  • 2 persons are necessary. Unpack the Sprintbok with min. 2 persons. You will further require 2 persons for assembly and correct set-up of the Sprintbok.
  • Assemble the Sprintbok by carefully following the steps in this manual. Double-check all fixtures after having completed the assembly.

Assembly Instructions

  1. Carefully read the assembly instructions provided in the manual
    before beginning assembly.

  2. Assemble the unit with two adult, skilled people following the instructions provided.

  3. Tighten all screws and bolts securely.

  4. Check all fittings regularly and before use to ensure they are secure and in working condition.

  • The Sprintbok must be placed to stand sturdy and strong on the floor.
  • No adjustment is necessary on a completely flat surface.
  • If the floor is uneven, please take care to align the Sprintbok’s adjustable feet accordingly (on the bottom of the machine).
  • With uneven surfaces, we recommend setting up the Sprintbok on the floor to check which corner(s) of the treadmill may require foot adjustments. Each foot can be adjusted with a 17mm spanner for sturdy positioning on the floor.
  • This procedure must be repeated, should the machine be moved.

Step 2: Mounting of Left Handlebar incl. Electronics AssemblyNOHrD-

  • Unscrew the 3 pre-installed screws (M10x30) from the round metal plate with the Allen key (s. pic / red marking). The screws will be needed later for mounting of left handlebar (B).
  • Before the handlebar (B) can be mounted, the cables must be connected. For this, please carefully withdraw the circuit board approx. 5 cm out of the opening.
  • Next, connect the 2 plugs, sticking out of the handlebar, to the circuit board (s. 2.1). Now slide the circuit board back into the opening and mount the handlebar tight onto the frame, using the 3 screws (M10x30).
  • Warning : Please make sure none of the cables are wedged or compressed!
  • We recommend assembling the unit with two adult, skilled people.

Step 3: Mounting of right handlebarNOHrD-Sprintbok-Curved-Manual-
Treadmill-fig- \(6\)

  • Before mounting the right handlebar, the pre-installed thread rod must be removed. For this, please unscrew the hand-tight, nut on right with the spanner (6).
  • Next, remove both pre-installed screws (M8x20) from the left handlebar (B) with the Allen key (2). Then use the Allen key (1) to unscrew the 3 pre-installed screws (M10x30) from the round metal plate on the right side (3.1.).
  • Slide the right handlebar (C) carefully onto the upper pipe fitting and position it at the bottom, in front of the round metal plate. Now screw the handlebar to the treadmill, using all the previously removed screws (do not mount the thread rod).
  • Tighten all screws firmly!

Step 4: Mounting the Monitor ScreenNOHrD-Sprintbok-Curved-Manual-

  • The monitor mounting plate (D) can be mounted to the handlebar with the thread rod. Place the mounting plate onto the bar as shown, carefully sliding the thread rod through the openings. Avoid crushing any of the cables!
  • Screw the nut hand-tight, using the spanner (6), so that the monitor mounting plate can still be tilted.
  • Fasten the monitor with four short screws. The top two screws should not be tightened completely, leave approx. 3mm length on the screw.
  • Then connect the cables.
  • Attaching the cover plate: Place between the mounting plate and the monitor so that the indented side fits in (1). Next, press the cover plate down and against the monitor (2). Then fasten the two side screws (3).
  • Be sure to tighten all screws through the holes in the cover plate. There is a round recess in the back of the cover plate so that the on/off button can be operated.

Step 5: Electricity Connection

  • Please plug the adapter cable into the connector socket on the bottom of the Sprintbok’s front end. (s. pic), and follow by plugging the adapter into a regular 220V safety socket.
    The 12V electricity connection is solely for the use of the monitor screen and sensor technology.

  • The Sprintbok can be used at any time without electricity, but in that case no performance data will be displayed on the monitor screen.

Using the Monitor Screen

The monitor is outfitted with an android operating system and can be used like an android tablet.

  1. Turning on the Monitor Screen
    Please turn on/off the monitor, using the push button on the back side of the monitor.

  2. Connecting to WiFi
    In order to use the Sprintbok app, the monitor must be connected to a wireless network. Please select: “Settings”

  3.  In “Settings”, select “WLAN”. Next, select your network and enter your password. Your monitor is now connected to the wireless network, providing you with the full content of the Sprintbok app.

  4. Open the Sprintbok app. The app will say that a Sprintbok has been found. Should the app not be able to find the Sprintbok, please check the USB connection.

  5. Click on the displayed Sprintbok

  6. You may now use the Sprintbok app as a guest. In this mode, your performance data will be displayed but you will not have access to pre-designed workout and scenery videos. For this range of service, please register with the “login” button.

  7. If you do not have any login details yet, you will need to register on www.my-nohrd.com. By registering on my-nohrd, you will have further access to a whole range of workout videos with all NOHrD equipment.

  8. In „Free Training“ -mode, you can configure the displayed fields as you wish. Simply click on one of the information fields and select the desired display. The km/h display cannot be altered.
