Usage Instructions

• Safety Precautions
  Before using the Kids Digital Camera, please read the safety precautions in the instruction manual carefully.

• Checking the Supplied Items

  • Make sure that all supplied items are included in the package.
  • The number in parentheses indicates the number of pieces.

• Identifying Parts
  Refer to the diagram in the instruction manual to identify different parts of the camera.

• Inserting a Memory Card
  Insert the included memory card before turning on the power. To remove the memory card, push the memory card in once.

• Resetting the Camera
  If the camera fails to operate properly or strange messages appear on the display, press the RESET button with the included card tray pin or other pointed instrument to reset the camera to its initial settings.

• Turning On/Off the Power
  To turn on/off the camera, press and hold the POWER button.

• Checking the Remaining Battery
  The remaining charge indicator will appear in the screen’s upper left corner after turning on the camera. Charge the battery soon when the battery low indicator appears, or the camera will turn off automatically. When using the micro USB cable to charge the battery, the red charging indicator will light up during the charging process.

• Setting the Date and Time

1. Turn on the camera and select SETTINGS from the menu list.
2. Select DATE INPUT and make sure that the clock is correctly set.

• Shooting Images

1. Select PHOTO from the menu list.
2. Hold the camera with your elbows pressed against your body to steady it.
3. Position the subject in the center of the focus frame.
4. Press the SHUTTER button fully down to shoot.

• Shooting Movies

1. Select VIDEO from the menu list.
2. Hold the camera with your elbows pressed against your body to steady it.
3. Press the SHUTTER button to start recording.
4. Press the SHUTTER button again to stop recording.

• Recording

1. Select RECORDING from the menu list.
2. Turn the microphone toward the original sound source.
3. Actually produce the sound you would like to record.
4. Press the SHUTTER button to start recording.
5. Press the SHUTTER button again to stop recording

Never leave the camera in the places listed below no matter if in use or storage:

IDENTIFYING PARTS

*When viewing images, press the UP button and hold it to delete images. You can delete one image at a time

INSERTING A MEMORY CARD

Insert the included memory card before turning on the power. To remove the memory card, push the memory card in once.

RESETTING THE CAMERA

• Pressing RESET allows you to reset the camera to its initial settings.
• Press RESET with the included card tray pin or other pointed instruments.
• The camera must be reset under the following conditions:
  • Prior to using this unit for the first time after installation
  • If the unit fails to operate properly
  • If strange or incorrect messages appear on the display

TURNING 0N/0FF THE POWER

• Turning on the power. Press the ON/OFF button, then hold until the blue indicator is on, and the power will be turned on.
• Turning off the power. Press the ON/OFF button, then hold until the blue indicator is oft and the power will be turned off.
• Auto Power Off mode. The camera will power off if you leave it idle for 3 minutes.

CHECKING THE REMAININGBATTERY

• The remaining charge indicator will appear in the screen supper left corner after turning on the camera.
  • Sufficient power remaining
  • Battery almost fully charged
  • Battery low
  • Charge the battery soon, or the camera will turnoff automatically!
• When using the micro USB cable to charge the battery the red charging indicator will light up during the charging process.

SETTING THE DATE AND TIME

Set the date and time when using this camera for the first time.

1. The menu list will 叩 pear after the power is turned on. Select SETTINGS, then press the OK button.
2. Select DATE INPUT then press the OK button.
3. Make sure that the clock is correctly set,then press the OK button.

SHOOTING IMAGES

1. Select PHOTO, then press the OK button.
2. Hold the kids’ camera with your elbows pressed against your body to steady it.
3. Position the subject in the center of the focus frame.
4. Press the SHUTTER button fully down to shoot.
5. The blue indicator flickers once, indicating the photo shooting completes.

SHOOTING MOVIES

1. Select VIDEO, then press the OK button.
2. Hold the kids 1 camera with your elbows pressed against your body to steady it.
3. Press the SHUTTER button to start recording.
4. The red dot on the screen is flickering, which indicates that it is making a recording.
5. Press the SHUTTER button again to stop recording.

RECORDING

1. Select RECORDING, then press the OK button.
2. Turn the microphone toward the original sound source.
3. Actually produce the sound you would like to record.
4. Press the SHUTTER button to start recording.
5. The recording indicator light will flicker on the screen.
6. Press the SHUTTER button again to stop recording.

VIEWING IMAGES

1. Select PLAYBACK, then press the OK button.
2. Select an image with the LEFT button/RIGHT button. Press the OK button to view movies.
3. Recorded images are stored on the memory card. By using a memory card reader, you can view the mon a computer.
4. Make sure that you save the image data on the hard disk of a computer.

PLAYING GAMES

1. Select GAME, then press the OK button,
2. Select a game with the LEFT button/RIGHT button. Press the OK button to play games.
3. There are five puzzle games available for you to playand enjoy. These include Gluttonous Snake, Push The Box, Game of Maze, Airplane Shooter, and Guess The Number.

LEARNING THE VARIOUS FUNCTIONS

1. When shooting images, press the UP button/DOWN button to choose from different filter effects and photo frames.
2. Tabs categorize items in SETTINGS,so select a tab first and move to the desired item to quickly set it.
3. Select PHOTO SIZE in SETTINGS, then press the OK button to choose image sizes among 1.3M, 2M, 3M, 5M, 8M, and12M.
4. Select DELAY CAPTURE in SETTINGS, then press the OK button to set the Self Timer so that you can delay the shutter release for 2s, 5s, or 10s.
5. Select BURST in SETTINGS, then press the OK button to switch on/off the burst mode.
6. Select LANGUAGE in SETTINGS, then press the OK button to change the system language.
7. Select Volume in SETTINGS, then press the OK button to adjustthe volume.

NOTE ON USING THE CAMERA

• Avoid rough handling, modifying, disassembling, or impact such as hammering, dropping, or stepping on the product. Be particularly careful of the lens.
• The camera is neither dust-proof nor splash-proof，nor water-proof.
• If water enters inside the camera, a malfunction may occur.
• Do not aim the camera at the sun or other bright light. It may cause the malfunction of the camera.
