Kogan ELECTRIC150H Motorized Screen
Product Information
Motorized Screen and Wall-Mounted Manual Screen
The motorized screen is a high-quality product that has passed strict
quality inspections before delivery. It is available in two variants, one with
a manual switch and the other with a remote control. The electrical
connections and setting of limit switches should be conducted by skilled
engineers only to ensure proper usage and safety.
The screen can be powered by a 220V/50HZ, 230V/50HZ, 110V/60HZ or 120V/60HZ power supply, but the motor’s power must be the same as the local voltage and frequency. The remote control system can be radio or infrared type. If a remote control system is needed, a radio remote controller is supplied, but an infrared-type controller is also available for a special requirement. These two different controlling functions cannot be combined into one control system. The screen comes equipped with a synchronized motor inside the housing but can have a tubular motor installed for a special request.
The wall-mounted manual screen is another variant offered. The moving parts of the drive must be installed higher than 25 mm above the floor. It can be installed using two screws on the wall at the same level and distance as that of the two rings, which should ideally be strong enough to load more than 25 kg of weight.
Product Usage Instructions
For Motorized Screen:
- Read the manual carefully before using it.
- Ensure skilled engineers conduct the installation of the screen for safety purposes.
- If the motorized screen works with a manual switch, refer to the circuit diagrams given in the manual for electric connection. If it works with remote control, refer to the diagrams for electrical connections.
- For remote control issues, check the battery and replace it with a new one.
- Adjust the position for the two limited journeys as per the given picture in the manual.
- The screen should be switched to a suitable power supply.
- The screen can be used with or without a remote controller. The screen comes with a radio remote controller but can be replaced with an infrared-type controller for special requirements.
- Use the UP/DOWN/STOP button on the control box to operate the screen if it does not have a remote control system. Alternatively, use the remote controller to operate it.
For Wall-Mounted Manual Screen
- Read the manual carefully before using it.
- Install the screen keeping in mind the instructions given in the manual.
- Pull down the screen slowly while holding the pulling ring tightly. Stop when the top black border comes out or whenever desired. If it cannot be fixed, repeat the same method.
- Pull the screen down a little after using it, and it will go up and back into the housing.
- Do not fold or touch the screen surface with fingers or hard objects. Keep away from high-temperature objects and fire.
- If the screen is dirty, clean it gently with a clean cloth or cotton ball. Do not use organic solvents to clean the screen surface.
- When pulling down the screen, do it slowly and vertically without applying excessive force. Stop pulling as soon as the black border is out or when the screen is jammed. Send it to the service center if it is permanently jammed.
SAFETY & WARNINGS
- All the screens have passed strict quality inspections before delivery.
- Read this manual carefully to ensure proper usage.
- Attention: the installation of the screen is important, the electrical connections, and setting of the limit switches, must be conducted by skilled engineers only.

CIRCUIT DIAGRAMS
If the motorized screen work with the manual switch, please refer to the diagram below for the electric connection.
If the motorized screen work with remote control, please refer to the diagram below for the electrical connection.
If the remote control does not work well, please check the battery and replace the new one.
ADJUST LIMIT SWITCH
Adjust the position for the two limited journeys, refer to the picture below :
USEFUL INSTRUCTIONS
- The screen should be switched to a suitable power supply, it can be 220V/ 50HZ.230V/ 50HZ or 110V/ 60HZ,120V/ 60HZ, but the motor’s power must be the same as the local voltage and frequency.
- The screen can be used with or without the remote controller. The remote control system can be radio type or infrared type. Normally if a remote control system is needed, a radio remote controller is supplied but an infrared-type controller is also available for a special requirement. These two different controlling functions cannot be combined in one control system.
- Normally a synchronized motor is installed inside the housing but a tubular motor is also available for a special requirement.
- If the remote control system is not accompanied, the screen can be operated by the control box directly. Just push the UP/ DOWN /STOP button on the control box to operate the screen. Alternatively, the screen can be operated by the remote controller.
WALL-MOUNTED MANUAL SCREEN
-
STRUCTURE
-
INSTALLING
Moving parts of the drive must be installed higher than 25 mm above the floor. Choose a suitable place for installation. It is best to install two screws on the wall, the distance of the screws must be equal to that of the two rings and they should be at the same level. The rings must be strong enough to load more than 25kg of weight. -
USEFUL INSTRUCTIONS
Hold the pulling ring tightly and pull down the screen slowly, then stop when the top black border comes out (or stop pulling whenever you want to stop), the screen can be auto-fixed. If it cannot be fixed, please operate it again according to the same method. After using it, pull the screen down a little and it will go up and back into the housing. -
WARNINGS
- The screen cannot be folded. Do not use fingers or hard objects to touch the screen surface. Do not splash milk, fruit juice or other chemical doses to the screen surface. Keep the screen far away from high-temperature objects or fire.
- If the screen is dirty, wash it gently with a clean cloth or a cotton ball. Do not use organic solvents to clean the screen surface.
- When pulling the screen down, it must be done must be slowly and vertically. Do not pull it roughly. Stop pulling as soon as the black border is out or when the screen is jammed. Send the screen to the service center if the jammed is permanent.
- After use, retract the screen back to the housing in order to prevent dirt. If not using it for a long time, please remove the screen from the wall and pack it in a carton.
