Microtouch Titanium Trim

The Microtouch Titanium Trim is a precision grooming tool for men that helps to trim and shape facial hair with ease. This device is equipped with a titanium-coated blade that allows for a smooth and comfortable trim. The device comes with an adjustable comb that can be set to different lengths, allowing you to customize your trim to your desired length.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Charge the device fully before the first use.
  2. Attach the desired comb to the device by sliding it onto the head of the device until it clicks into place.
  3. Turn on the device by pressing the power button located on the front of the device.
  4. Adjust the comb length by sliding the adjustable comb up or down to your desired length setting.
  5. Begin trimming your facial hair by moving the device in the direction of hair growth.
  6. After use, turn off the device and detach the comb from the device for cleaning.
  7. Rinse the detachable comb and blade under running water and dry them thoroughly before reattaching them to the device.

WARNING NOTES

  • Only use when dry.
  • Only use the brush to clean the blade.
  • Keep out of the reach of children.
  • Never immerse in water or other liquids.
  • Do not dispose of by incineration.
  • Do not use your MicroTouch Titanium Trim on sensitive or irritated skin.
  • Always check the device before use. Do not use the device if it is damaged, as this could result in injury.
  • This device should only be used by children aged 8 years and over, or by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or have been instructed on the safe use of the device and understand the dangers associated with its use. Children must never be allowed to play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children under 8 yearsold or without supervision. Children younger than 8 years of age should be kept away from the device and the connection cable. Extreme caution is required when a device isused in the vicinity of children and when it isleft unattended.

BEFORE FIRST USE

  • The battery compartment is located at the lower end of the device.

  • To access the battery compartment, pull the handle out completely, press

  • the yellow battery symbol, and pull apart (Figure 1).

  • After puling apart, turn the battery compartment cover anti-clockwise to
    open (follow the arrow marking)(Figure 2).

  • Insert 2 xAA batteries in the battery compartment in the correct orientation.

  • Insert the pOsitive terminal of each battery first.

  • Close the battery compartment by pressing the cover and turning it clockwise until it clicks into place.

  • Place the handle back on the device by aligning it with the grooves (Figure 3).

  • When it reaches the locked position, press the yellow battery icon and slideit until it closes completely (Figure 3).

  • Always purchase and use the correct size and type of battery for the intended use.

  • Never mix old and new batteries.

  • Pay attention to the polarity (+ and -) when inserting the batteries. The device will NOT workif either battery (or both batteries) is/are not inserted correctly.

  • Remove batteries from the device if it will not be used for an extended period of time.

  • Never mix old and new batteries.

  • Never mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel- cadmium or nickel-metal hybrid) batteries.

USING THE MICROTOUCH® TITANIUM TRIMTM Select the right styling attachment

  • To choose the right attachment, place all 4 styling attachments so that you  can see and compare their lengths.
  • Each attachment indicates the length of hair that remains after trimming (2mm, ómm, 13mm, 19mm, 25mm).
  • Slide the open end of the styling attachment over the blade head until it clicks into place (Figure 4).
  • To remove a styling attachment, hold the device firmly, and tilt the attachment slightly to the side and upwards at the same time (Figure 5).

NOTE: The 25 mm attachment is ditferent from the others. Only use the 25 mm attachment when cutting with the guide edge against your head. You may have to hold the device in the other hand when changing directions. In order to properly lift the hair, the 25 mm attachment has only one guide edge (igure 6). The other 3 attachments and the Blade Guard can be used with either side placed against your head.

CUTTING/TRIMMING YOUR HAIR OR BEARD With a styling attachment For best results, only use the device on dry hair, after combing or brushing your hair to loosen any knots first.

  • lf you are cutting/trimming for the first time, start with the styling attachment with the longest length, to allow you to familiarize yourself with how the device works.
  • Press the On/0ff button (Figure 7). The LED light turns on and the blade begins to move.
  • Starting at the top of your head, trim from the front towards the back (Figure 8).
  • Holding the end of the styling attachment against your head, move it through your hair in short strokes.

Trimming the sides of your hair

  • Move the device forward from the back of your head. Make upward and outward movements (Figure 9).
  • You can also trim the side hair by moving the device in an upward and downward motion.

TIP: The styling attachments can be moved in both directions as desired. For best results, cut against the direction of hair growth. If you don’t achieve the desired trimming results, lift  your hair away from your scalp by back-combing.

Extendable handle
The handle of the trimmer can be pulled out so that better results can be achieved in hard-to-reach areas. Hold the handle of the device, and pull gently until it clicks into the extended position.
NOTE: lf you pull too hard on the retractable handle, it will detach from the device.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

  • Switch off the device betfore cleaning.
  • Take off the styling attachment.
  • Turn the device to the side so that the MicroTouch logo is visible.
  • Remove the blade by pressing your thumb against its edge and pushing it away trom the device (Figures 13-14).
  • NOTE: Only one side of the blade can be removed.
  • Use the brush provided to remove trimmed hair from around the main body of the device and the blade.
  • You can also use the brush to remove hair from between the teeth of the guide comb.
  • If a large amount of hair is to be removed, the blade head (removed from the device) and the styling attachments can be rinsed under running water and left to dry on a cloth.
  • Make sure that the blade head is completely dry before replacing it.
  • The handle can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Never immerse the device in water.
  • After cleaning, adjust the springs between the clips on the device until they click back into place (Figures 15-16).

Batteries do not belong in household waste. You are legally obliged to return batteries and rechargeable batteries to the retail outlet after use so that they can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner, and so that the raw materials they contain can be recycled. The return of batteries and rechargeable batteries is free of charge. The reuse and recycling of used batteries makes an important contribution to the protection of our environment, as some ingredients are toxic and harmful to the environment. These substances can enter the human body via the food chain. Used batteries which contain lithium pose a fire risk due to internal and external short circuits. Please tape up the terminals before disposal to avoid an external short circuit. Batteries and rechargeable batteries that are not permanently installed must be removed and disposed of separately. Batteries and rechargeable batteries should only be returned after they have been discharged.
