Titanium Solo Rechargeable Trimmer

This appliance can only be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
GETTING STARTED
NOTE: Prior to first use, test the blade on a small area of your arm or leg.
If hypersensitivity or an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use
immediately. Use with care around sensitive areas, such as the ears, to avoid
scratches and cuts.
CHARGING

Ensure that the unit is fully charged before use.

Plug the small end of the charging cable into the MicroTouch Solo Titanium and the large end into a USB port (Figure 1) (Adapter not included). Initial charging and recharging requires approximately 4 hours.

The power indicator LED will turn RED when charging (Figure 2).
The light will switch off as soon as the device is fully charged. -
The MicroTouch Solo Titanium has an operating time of approximately 45 minutes when fully charged.
NOTE: If the performance weakens, recharge the device.
APPLICATION
The MicroTouch Solo Titanium is intended for use on facial hair including
beards, moustaches and sideburns.
- The MicroTouch Solo Titanium is designed for DRY USE ONLY. Do not use in shower.
- If the blade cover is attached, slide it down before use (Figure 3).
Use the On/Off switch to turn MicroTouch Solo Titanium ON and OFF (Figure 4).
NOTE: When the appliance is turned on, the power indicator LED turns blue. It is recommended that the blade cover be kept on when the appliance is not in use.
SHAVING
- DO NOT use water and/or shaving foam. This can cause the blade to stick or to stop working.
- Hold the surface of the blade against your skin (Figure 5).
- For best results, move the shaver head in the opposite direction of hair growth. Press lightly while making long strokes.
NOTE: It is normal for the shaving head to become warm during use.
TRIMMING WITH ATTACHMENT
- Select one of the guides provided and place it on the blade, ensuring both sides snap into place (Figure 6). The blade teeth can face in either direction, depending on the area being shaved and most comfortable way to hold the appliance.
- Turn on the appliance. Shave using a gentle, light motion.
- Always trim in the direction of the comb teeth, making sure that the flat part of the attachment fully touches the skin.
- For optimal results, try various trimming positions (upwards, downwards, or across) and move the shaving head against the grain.
- For best results, use when the skin and hair are fully dry.
PRECISE TRIMMING WITHOUT ATTACHMENT
- Use either of the two edges of the blade for sharp lines.
- Hold the MicroTouch Solo Titanium unit with the blade to the skin, with only one edge actually touching the skin (Figure 7).
- Trim the beard with light and gentle movements.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning:
The MicroTouch Solo Titanium blade is fragile – please handle with care.
- If hair has built up on the attachment or blade, gently clean it with the supplied brush.
- Do not rinse the blade. This can cause damage.
Removing the trimming attachment:
- Place your thumb on top of the trimming attachment (Figure 8) and press down to remove it from the blade head (Figure 9).
- Lift off the trimming attachment (Figure 10).

Please make sure to place the desired attachment in the center and let it snap
into place with a click on both broad sides by lightly pressing on it (Fig.
12).
Changing the blade:
For optimal results, replace the blade every 1-2 months, or when it no longer
provides the desired results.
- Remove any accessories.
- With the cover attached, gently push the blade release upwards and remove the blade (Figure 11).
- Hold the new blade at the sides, and press it down onto the handle until you hear a „click“.
- Remove cover before use.
NOTE: Make sure that the shaft is centrally aligned under the blade head before it snaps into place. If the blade does not move when the appliance is switched on after replacement, remove the blade, briefly switch on the device without the blade, and replace it as described in point 3.
Do not dispose this product at the end of its service life through normal domestic waste. It has to be disposed through a collection agency that recycles electric and electronic devices. This is pointed out by the symbol on the product, in the instruction manual, and on the packaging. Please inquire about local collection agencies that may be operated by your distributor or your municipal administration. By recycling, making use of the materials, or other forms of recycling old units you are making an important contribution to protecting our environment.
**** Batteries do not belong in household waste. You are legally obliged to return batteries and rechargeable batteries to the retail outlet after use so that they can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner, and so that the raw materials they contain can be recycled. The return of batteries and rechargeable batteries is free of charge. The reuse and recycling of used batteries makes an important contribution to the protection of our environment, as some ingredients are toxic and harmful to the environment. These substances can enter the human body via the food chain. Used batteries which contain lithium pose a fire risk due to internal and external short circuits. Please tape up the terminals before disposal to avoid an external short circuit. Batteries and rechargeable batteries that are not permanently installed must be removed and disposed of separately. Batteries and rechargeable batteries should only be returned after they have been discharged.
