Your child’s safety may be affected if you do not follow these instructions.

NOTICE
When using as Universal category Group Ill (22-36kg) please notice below information:

  1. This is a ‘Universal’ child restraint. It is approved to Regulation No 44, 04 series of amendments, for general use in vehicles and it will fit most, but not all, car seats.
  2. A correct fit is likely if the vehicle manufacturer has declared in the vehicle handbook that the vehicle is capable of accepting a ‘Universal’ child restraint for this age group.
  3. This child restraint has been classified as ‘Universal’ under more stringent conditions than those which applied to earlier designs which do not carry this notice.
  4. If in doubt, consult either the child restraint manufacturer or the retailer.
  5. Only suitable if the approved vehicles are fitted with lap/3 point us time/with retractor safety belts, approved to UN/ECE Regulation No 16 or other equivalent standards.’
  6. By installation with the ISOFIT attachments please note, that this child safety seat is suitable for fixing into the seat positions of the cars equipped with two ISOFIX low anchorages fulfilling the requirements of Regulation No 14.

Please read the car manufacturer’s handbook. Please read the instructions carefully, because improper installation may cause serious injurv. in this case, the manufacturer is not responsible.

Important safety instructions

  1. WARNING! The rigid items and plastic parts of a child restraint shall be so located and installed that they are not liable, during everyday use of the vehicle, to become trapped by a movable seat or in a door of the vehicle.
    Prevent harness/vehicle belt from getting trapped between car doors
    WARNING ! or rubbing against sharp parts of the seat or body. The child with 0-125 cm

  2. WARNING! All straps holding the restraint to the vehicle should be height is prohibited to use
    tight, all straps restraining the child should be adjusted to the child’s bd~, booster seat !
    The straps should not be twisted! Always make sure that the booster seat harness and vehicle belt are correctly tensioned to ensure maximum protection for your child.

  3. WARNING! The device should be changed when it has been subject to violent stresses in an accident. After an accident, replace your child restraint and the vehicle seat belts. Although they may look undamaged, they may not protect your child as well as they should.

  4. WARNING! Important! Ensure that any lap strap is worn low down, so that the pelvis is firmly engaged.

  5. WARNING! It is dangerous to make any alterations or additions to the device without the approval of the Type Approval Authority. Your child is in danger if you don’t follow closely the installation instructions provided by the child restraint manufacturer.

  6. WARNING! Follow closely the instructions for installation. Failure can result in injury to the child!

  7. WARNING! NEVER leave your child unattended in the safety device, even for the shortest time!

  8. WARNING! Any luggage or other objects liable to cause injuries in the event of a collision shall be properly secured.

  9. WARNING! Do not use the child restraint system without the cover.

  10. WARNING! Do not replace the seat cover with any other than the one recommended by the manufacturer, because the cover constitutes an integral part of the restraint performance.

  11. WARNING: DO NOT attempt to dismantle, modify or add to any part of the booster car seat or change the way your vehicle seat belts are made or used.

  12. WARNING! Do not use any load bearing contact points other than those described in the instructions and marked in the child restrained. Ensure the vehicle seat belt buckle is connected to the correct main load bearing contact point which is intended for the occupied vehicle seat. Ensure the buckle and the seat belt of the vehicle do not interfere with the main load bearing contact points of the child restrained system. Ensure you are following the correct way path of the vehicle’s safety belt by the installation of the restrained system and by the restraining of the child. On this way you will avoid an unsatisfactory position of the adult safety belt buckle relative to the main load bearing contact points on the restraint. Please contact the child restraint manufacturer if in doubt about this point. Please note, the buckle shall be so placed that the child occupant can reach it. It shall be so placed that its purpose and mode of operation are immediately obvious to a rescuer in an emergency.

  13. WARNING! Install the child restraint in vehicle seating positions categorized as ‘Universal’ in
    the vehicle owner’s manual, by using the primary belt route.

  14. WARNING: NEVER use this booster seat on side facing vehicle seat

  15. WARNING: NEVER use this booster seat on passenger seat fitted with front active airbag.

  16. WARNING! If the chair is not provided with a textile cover, keep it away from sunlight, otherwise it may be too hot for the child’s skin. If the vehicle has been left in the sun for a long
    time, check the seat cover and make sure it is not too hot before placing the child in the child cushion.

  17. WARNING! Do not use the car seat in the house. It is not designed for home use and should only be used in the vehicle!

  18. WARNING! Periodically check the belts for wear, paying special attention to the points of attachment, protections and regulating devices. If the harness / vehicles belts becomes cut or frayed, replace it before traveling.

  19. WARNING: ALWAYS secure your child with the safety belts when using the booster seat.

  20. WARNING! The baby seat must be secured with car safety belt, even when it is not in use. An unsecured seat may injure other passengers in the car in an urgent stop.

  21. WARNING! Store this child seat in a safe place when it is not being used. Avoid placing heavy objects on top of it. Do not allow your child seat to come into contact with corrosive substances e.g. battery acid.

  22. WARNING! Do not leave your child in this safety seat for a long period of time. By long trips make more breaks and take out the child from the safety seat.

  23. WARNING! Security is only guaranteed if the child restraint is fitted in accordance with these instructions.

  24. WARNING! The instruction must be retained on the child restraint for its life period!

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS ECE R44/04

  1. The car seat can be cleaned using lukewarm water and soap. Do not use aggressive cleaners like abrasives or thinner.
  2. The cover should be washed by hand at a maximum temperature of 30°C. Do not put in the dryer, just airing it.
  3. The plastic parts can be cleaned by using a wettish drapery. Please, do not use any solvate

C – ISOFIX Anchorage points

Possibility to install ONLY on seats with 3-point seat belts for Group 3 (22-36kg.)
CAN NOT BE USED FOR SEATS with 2-point belt!

Assembling of the car seat

  1. Place the seat and backrest horizontally on a flat surface. Place the hooks on the backrest into the openings of the seat. Picture 3.1 Squeeze with hand the hooks on the backrest (3.2.a) and press firmly, lift the backrest in a vertical position. Picture 3.2.b;c ; 3.3

Warning: Failure to comply with this instruction leads to breaking the hooks on the backrest, which is not subject to warranty!

Notice: During assembling or dismantling in the vehicle, it is possible that the backrest of the seat moves from the vertical position. This is not a defect in the seat, because the position of the backrest is determined by the position of the backrest of the car seat!
Pull back up to make sure it is fastened to the seat.

Disassembling of the car seat – Fix the base with one hand and push the backrest back with the other.

INSTALLATION OF SEAT
“Group Ill” / 22 to 36 kg./ With 3 – Point Belt

Please use 3-point safety belts of the car to ensure the safety of the child and to secure the car seat.

  • Step 1. The car seat should only be used as a seat. Place the car seat on the seat in the “direction of travel”.
  • Step 2. Place the child in the car seat and make sure the belt is not twisted or tied.
  • Step 3. Group Ill ( 22-36 kg) – Picture 2: Position the shoulder belt over the shoulder of the child (but away from its neck) through the guide hook and under the armrest of the safety seat. Thread the abdominal belt under the armrest of the seat and over the lap of the child, then fasten the belt in the buckle of the car until you hear “click”.
  • Step 4. Make sure the belt is properly positioned across all guides, not twisted and does not interfere with the child.

INSTALLATION OF SEAT “Group Ill” / 22 to 36 kg./
With 3-point seat belt + ISOFIT attachment.

  • Step 1.
    IMPORTANT:
    First please check if there are 2 ISOFIX anchoring’s in the perpendicular intersection of the vehicle seat back and seat cushion.
    NOTE: When using the ISOFIT attachments, the guides for the ISOFIT attachments can be inserted into the
    ISOFIX anchorages on the vehicle. { Picture 5 ) The ISOFIT anchorages on both ends are pushed inward along the guide sleeves

  • Step 2. Press the Release button to release the ISOFIT attachments. Than you can hear an audible sound “click” Picture 6 Slide the rails till the longest position.

  • Step 3. Place the child seat on the seat of the car, it must be oriented in the direction of movement. Picture 7

  • Step 4. Push the ISOFIT attachments directly into the anchorages until you hear an audible sound “click”.
    Make sure that you have heared a “click ” and the ISO FIT latching indication shows GREEN Picture 8

  • Step 5. Push firmly the child seat towards the car seat backrest. Picture 8 During this moving the ISOFIT attachments will tighten the child seat to the car seat backrest and you will hear a “Click” sound . Ensure that the child seat is firmly pressed to the car seat backrest. Check the ISOFIT attachments release button again and ensure the latching indication shows GREEN.

  • Step 6. Grasp the seat body to check the seat if it is fastened tightly or shakes. If the seat shakes and the ISOFIT connectors are pulled out, please repeat the above steps and install it again.

  • Step 7. Group Ill ( 22-36 kg) – Picture 2: Position the shoulder belt over the shoulder of the child (but away from its neck) through the guide hook ( Picture 9) and under the armrest of the safety seat. Thread the abdominal belt under the armrest of the seat and over the lap of the child, then fasten the belt in the buckle of the car until you hear “click”.

  • Step 8. Make sure the belt is properly positioned across all guides, not twisted and does not interfere with the child.

Removing the upholstery

  1. Remove the upholstery of the seat as shown in Fig. 10
