IC Rating

  1. recessed luminaire that can be abutted against normally flammable materials, including building insulation, and can be covered in normal use. Building elements, building insulation or debris have restricted access to the heated parts of the luminaire. This classification of recessed luminaire is effectively a sealed unit that has a restricted flow of air between the habitable room the luminaire emits light into and the void/space where the main body of the luminaire is located. A closed luminaire that allows building insulation to come into contact with its sides and to cover it.
  2. Type IC-4 recessed luminaire can be used together with building insulation that can safely be exposed continuously to temperatures up to 90°C may abut and cover the luminaire;

RISK OF FIRE – Required clearance from structural members and building elements SCB = 50 mm

IC-F Rating

  1. A closed luminaire that allows building insulation to come into contact with its sides and to cover it.
  2. Type IC-F recessed luminaire can be used together with building insulation that can safely be exposed continuously to temperatures up to 90°C may abut and cover the luminaire;

RISK OF FIRE – Required clearance from structural members and building elements SCB/HCB = 50 mm

PIR sensor information

PIR (PASSIVE INFRA-RED) SENSOR:
The fitting has a PIR (Passive Infra-Red) sensing device which continuously scans the operating zone and immediately switches the light on when it detects movement in that area. Whenever movement is detected within the range of the sensor, the light will switch on automatically to illuminate the area. While there are movements within the sensor range, the light will remain on.

Installation and PRI detection distance: For best PRI sensitivity, the installation height of the downlight is 2.3 – 2.5-meter height. PRI movement sensitivity is approximately 3 meters radius of the location where the downlight is installed.

MODES & FUNCTION INFORMATION:
First-time power on (initialisation):
Turn the Downlightlight ON from the wall switch. The Downlight will be lit upon for 30 seconds, and thenS until automatic turns OFF and enter Auto Mode. PIR does not work during the 30 seconds first-use initialisation state.

  • Auto mode:
    The downlight switch ON the LEDs when the PIR detects movements. The LEDs light up time with a 5minutes±20s timer. The timer is reset 5minutes±20s each time the PIR sensor is triggered thereafter the first PIR detection. Example: The downlight will automatically turn OFF after 5 minutes if there is no movement detected by the PIR Sensor, from the first or last trigger.
    NOTE: Auto Mode requires the approximate ambient lighting of 30lux or less for the PIR sensor to trigger.

  • Override mode:
    Toggle OFF / ON twice from wall switch within 5 seconds to enter the 8-hour continuous light ON mode. To switch back to Auto Mode, toggle OFF/ON once.
