Product description
The product is an oil pump that can be used for diesel and engine oil. It is used for removal of oil from oil tanks. Do not use the product for other tasks.

Safety instructions for operation

Warning! If you do not obey these instructions, there is a risk of death or injury.

  • Read and understand the instructions before you use the product.
  • Keep children and unauthorized persons away from the product.
  • Do not modify the product.
  • Only use the product for diesel and engine oil.
  • Always be careful when you connect the battery to the product. There is risk of sparks, fire and risk of explosion that can cause death to the operator or others.
  • Do not immerse the product in liquid.
  • Discard oil that has been used in the pump according to local regulations.
  • Do not operate the product near heat sources and open flames. There is risk of fire and explosion.
  • Do not use the product for more than 30 minutes constant.
  • Do not use a damaged product.
  • Do not let children operate the product.
  • Do not operate the product near flammable liquids or flammable gases.
  • Stay close to the product during operation. Make sure that no children or animals go near the product.
  • Make sure that the work area is well lit.
  • Disconnect the battery before you do maintenance on the product.
  • Only use original spare parts if the product needs to be repaired.

Operation

Warning! Make sure that the ON/OFF button is in the OFF position when you connect the battery clips to the product.

To connect the product to the battery

  1. Make sure that the ON/OFF button (5) is OFF. (Figure 1)
  2. Connect the black clip (4) to the negative terminal on the battery.
  3. Connect the red clip (4) to the positive terminal on the battery

To install the vacuum hose and the pressure hose on the product
Install the vacuum hose (1) and the pressure hose (2) to the product. (Figure

To pump engine oil

  • Connect the product to the battery and install the vacuum hose (1) and the pressure hose (2) to the product. Refer to “31 To connect the product to the battery” on page 10 and “3,2 To install the vacuum hose and the pressure hose on the product” on page 10. (Figure 1)
  • Let the engine become warm and the oil reach the temperature of 40°-60
  • Put the pressure hose in the container that will collect the oil.
  • Remove the oil dipstick from the engine.
  • Insert the vacuum hose in the hole for the oil dipstick and let it reach the lowest point in the oil container.
  • Start the product, refer to “3.5 To start the product on page 10.

To pump diesel

  1. Connect the product to the battery and install the vacuum hose (1) and the pressure hose (2) to the product. Refer to “31 To connect the product to the battery”on page 10 and “3,2 To install the vacuum hose and the pressure hose on the product” on page 10.
  2. Put the pressure hose in the container that will collect the oil.
  3. Put the vacuum hose at the lowest point in the oil container to be emptied of oil.
  4. Start the product, refer to “3.5 To start the product” on page 10

To start the product
Set the ON/OFF button (5) to ON. (Figure 1)

To stop the product
Set the ON/OFF button (5) to OFF. (Figure 1)

To disconnect the product

  1. Disconnect the battery clips from the battery.
  2. Disconnect the vacuum hose and the pressure hose from the product.
  3. Clean the product, refer to “4 Maintenance” on page 1

Maintenance

Warning! Disconnect the battery before you do maintenance on the product.

To clean the product
Clean the product with a damp cloth. If it is necessary, use washing-up liquid. Do not use solvents or chemicals that can cause damage to the product.

Storage

Always clean the product before storage. Make sure that there is no oil in the ducts of the product before storage. Keep the product in a dry area when not in use.

Disposal

To discard the product
Make sure that you follow the local regulations when you discard the product. Do not burn the product.
