IMPORTANT - MACHINE RETURN INSTRUCTIONS
Failure to return the malfunctioning product within 5 business days or failure to follow the instructions below may result in Brother charging the Manufacturer’s Estimated Street Price of the product. If the product is subsequently returned within 30 days after the charge, Brother will credit your account, minus a $39.00 Late Return Processing Fee.
- The product being returned to Brother MUST be shipped within 5 business days from receipt of the replacement product using the prepaid Return Label provided by Brother.\
Your Prepaid Return Label will be included with the replacement machine,
located on the outside of the carton.

swapreturns@brother.com.

Pack the malfunctioning product using the box and packing material from your Advanced Exchange. Secure the carton with the packing tape provided or, if you did not receive tape, please use your own but be sure it is strong enough to hold the carton together.

The prepaid Return Label has your name and address pre-printed in the `FROM’ section. Confirm this information is correct prior to sending out the shipment; if the information is not correct you may contact us at swapreturns@brother.com so a new label can be sent to you. Make a copy of the return label for your records. Peel off the backing of the label and place it on the TOP of the carton.

Schedule a pickup to return the printer

If your replacement machine was delivered by UPS:
Call UPS at 1-800-PICKUPS (1-800-742-5877) for Business and Residential pickups. This is a voice automated system, and you should request to “ Send a Package “. Then state, “ Schedule a Pick-Up ” and select “ Pre-Paid Return Service ” for type of shipment. Have the Return label available to relay needed information to UPS. You may also choose to return the machine with other UPS parcels at your workplace or by visiting any UPS shipping location. -
If your replacement machine was delivered by Federal Express:
Call FEDERAL EXPRESS at 1-800-GO-FEDEX (1-800-463-3339) for Business and Residential pick-ups. FedEx options may change frequently so please always press the correct key to speak with a representative. Inform the representative that you would like to arrange for GROUND pick-up. Have the return label available to relay needed information to the FedEx representative. Once the pick-up is scheduled you will receive a confirmation/pickup number. Please write that number down for your records.
