Start-up instructions

FAQ
Q: The camera stops taking pictures or cannot take pictures during the day/night****
A : Check the battery capacity of the camera itself
B : Make sure to use the required battery specification: authentic AA
alkaline battery
C: Please turn off the photo function during the camera timing/monitoring
period
D: Please format the SD on your camera or other devices
E: Please set the sensitivity to the highest when observing small animals
F: Check whether the PIR protective film has been torn off
G: The camera is installed at a horizontal height of about 2m and tilted
15° downward
H: Check the installation position of camera, which shall be kept in the
same horizontal line as the detected object as much as possible
Q: The photo is not good in effect or overexposed****
A: Check the battery capacity of the camera itself. The infrared light
will stop working before the battery is fully discharged
B: Avoid the lens exposure due to direct sunlight
C: The shooting effect is the best within 1~ 3 meters at night; Too close
a distance may lead to overexposure
D: Check whether the lens film is torn off
E: Check whether the lens is filthy or not
Q: The SD storage file format is incorrect and the card cannot be read****
A: The format of photos stored by the camera is jpg, and the format of
videos stored is AVI. If the format is wrong, and the photos or videos can not
be opened, generally SD card contains a bad area. In this situation, please
replace the SD card
B: Please use the original K&F card or genuine card
Q: Short battery life****
A: Battery life varies with using time and operating temperature, and
usually the camera can capture thousands of photos
B: 1.2 V rechargeable batteries are not allowed
C: Do not mix new batteries with old ones
