-
Photo resolution:
24MP(65283672P);20MP(61443456P);16MP(53763024P);12MP(4608259 2P);8MP(38402160P);5MP(30721728P)
The higher resolution means the better photo quality, and also requires more storage space. -
Continuous photo taking: 1 photo, continuous capture 2, 3 and 10 photos. Select the number of photos taken when the camera is triggered under the PHOTO mode.
-
Video resolution:
23041296P;19201080P;1280720P;720480P;640*480P
The higher resolution means the better photo quality, and also requires more storage space. -
Time-lapse video resolution:
8MP(38402160P);5MP(30721728P);3MP(2304*1296P) -
Video recording time:
3 seconds-10 minutes can be opted for the video recording time; Long press for quick setting. Video recording is not limited by time under the TEST mode. -
Sound recording: ON/OFF
-
Motion sensing delay:
2 seconds by default, and the trigger time interval can be set from 2 seconds to 60 minutes (Long press for quick setting).
The camera does not record any images or videos during the set time interval,
which can prevent the memory card from being filled with unnecessary files.
Note: When the interval is short, the camera shooting frequency is high,
and battery consumption also increases, which affects the battery life. On the
contrary, when the interval is long, a lower battery consumption ensures a
longer use time.
Motion sensing sensitivity: Low/Medium/High
The higher sensitivity means more sensitive sensing. Any abnormality in the
ambient may trigger the camera and increase the battery consumption. It is
recommended to set the sensitivity to medium or high when shooting small
animals (squirrels, cats, birds) with a fast moving speed. When shooting large
animals (deer, cattle and sheep), the sensitivity can be set to low or medium.
Monitoring period: OFF/ON
If you want the camera to work only in one time period, please set this
function to ON. After pressing the OK key to confirm, you can set the starting
time and ending time. For example, set the starting time at 18:30 and the
ending time at 8:30. The camera will only work during this time period, and it
will not be triggered in other time periods, and will not take any photos and
videos, either.
Time-lapse photographing: OFF/ON
When this function is turned on, the camera will automatically take
photos/record videos within the selected time interval regardless of whether
PIR senses motion, which is very helpful for observing
cold-blooded animals or plants.
Note: Under this mode, the PIR stops working, and the camera takes
photos/record videos within the set interval. If the PIR does not work, check
whether this setting is turned on.
Languages: 13 languages can be selected
-
Loop recording: ON/OFF
After this function is turned on, the earliest file will be overwritten according to the shooting time when the memory card storage space is insufficient, and when it is not turned on the camera will stop shooting when the memory card storage space is insufficient. -
Time & Date:
Set the date and time. The time format can be 24-hour or 12-hour time system. The date format can be day/month/year, year/month/-day, month/day/year.
When setting time & date, press to select the unit to be set. -
Photo tagging: ON/OFF
Time & date can be printed on the photos. -
Password protection: OFF/ON
After selecting “ON”, you can set a 4-digit or alphabet password for the camera to protect unauthorized access to the camera. Every time when the camera is turned on under the TEST mode, the correct
4- digit password must be entered to use the camera. -
Prompt tone: ON/OFF
-
Format the memory card: YES/NO
The memory card can be formatted to delete all files. Press OK to confirm the formatting;
It is recommended to use the memory card after formatting.
Note: Please back up the contents in the card before formatting! -
Serial number:
Numbers and letters can be used to tag this camera to indicate the position of the obtained photos. When several cameras are used, it is easier to identify the position of photos and videos when viewing them again. -
Restore the settings: YES/NO
After pressing OK to confirm, all camera settings will be restored to the default values. -
Version: System version
number composed of numbers
- The test mode is helpful to determine the best possible detection range of the motion sensor. Fix the camera on a tree about 1-2 meters high and adjust the direction as required.
- Move slowly from one side of the observation area to the other, parallel to the camera, and try different angles and distances.
- After many attempts, turn on the camera and enter the TEST mode. Click PLAY to enter the playback interface and view the photos and videos taken to determine the shooting angle of the camera.
- To prevent unnecessary photos, we recommend not pointing the camera straight in the direction of sunlight. Make sure whether the camera height is consistent with the area to be observed.
Working mode
When the switch is set to the ON OFF ON position, the camera enters the
working mode. The screen will enter the STANDBY mode after a countdown of 15
seconds. Once a moving object is detected to enter the PIR detection range,
the sensor will activate the camera to shoot/record.
Connect to computer
The camera can be connected to the computer through the attached USB to view
the existing photos/videos.
