SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • User information: Do not use this product to store or process sour, alkaline, or salty food.
  • This product can be used by children from 8 years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial, or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved with its use. Do not allow children to play with the product. Do not allow children to clean or maintain the product without supervision.
  • The product gets hot when in use – risk of burn injury. Use the handle and knob.
  • Do not use strong or abrasive detergents.
  • Never use the product for anything other than its intended purpose. Do not expose the product to rain or moisture.
  • Do not use the product without water.
  • Allow the product to cool before cleaning or replacing parts.
  • Only use coffee in the moka pot.

USE

BEFORE USING IT FOR THE FIRST TIME

  1. Remove all the packaging and any stickers.
  2. Wash in hot water and allow to dry.
HOW TO USE
  1. Fill the bottom part with cold water. Do not overfill – the safety valve should be over the water.
  2. Fill the funnel with ground coffee and spread evenly.
  3. Put the funnel in the bottom part of the moka pot and screw on the top part.
  4. Put the pot on a hob. Turn the handle to direct the steam.
  5. Switch on the hob to medium heat. Wait for the water to boil and the coffee starts oozing into the top part.
  6. Take the pot off the hob when the top part is 3/4 full.
  7. Wait 30–60 seconds for the brewing to finish.

WARNING!

  • Only use the handle, do not touch the pot – the risk of burn injury.

MAINTENANCE

Allow the moka pot to cool before cleaning. Wash with hot water and wipe dry.

WARNING!

  • Do not wash the pot in a dishwasher.
  • Do not use the Moka pot if any parts are missing or damaged.
  • Only use the pot on medium heat – do not use full power/gas.
  • The pot gets very hot – the risk of burn injury. Use the handle on the pot to use the pot.
  • Keep the handle away from the heat.
  • Do not leave the moka pot unattended on a hot hob.
