SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
For towing vehicles with a total weight of up to: 2500 kg (002-717) 3500 kg (002-718) The towed vehicle must not weigh more than the towing vehicle. Read the instructions for towing in the vehicle handbooks.

Always check the condition of the towline and hooks before using them. Do not use the product if it is damaged, or worn. Do not use for lifting, or for anything else other than towing.

Fasten the red flag to the middle of the towline. Couple the hooks to the fasteners on both vehicles. Check that the line is not touching any part of the vehicles.

The clutch must be disengaged on the towed vehicle and the ignition switched on to deactivate the steering wheel lock and so the brake lights and direction indicators work.
NOTE:
• Steering and braking is heavier when the engine on the towed vehicle is not running.
• Never tow a vehicle with defective brakes. -
Drive slowly and smoothly to avoid jerking. Steer the vehicle so that the towline follows the direction of travel to avoid lateral forces that can affect the stability of the vehicle. Check that the insurance covers towing. Follow the applicable local rules and regulations.
