POWER SUPPLY

USB-DC CABLE

MAINS SUPPLY

This instrument can be powered by a mains adaptor (not included) with the following characteristics in output: VDC = 5V; I = 500 mA (positive central terminal).
WARNING: The transformer, power supply used with the electric toy shall be regularly examined for damage to the supply cord, plug, enclosure or other parts, and in the event of damage, it shall not be used until the damage has been repaired.

  • the transformer or power supply is not a toy.

WASTE DISPOSAL STANDARDS
For information regarding the disposal of the items mentioned here below, please refer to Council Administration office regarding specialised waste collection centres.

  1. PACKAGING DISPOSAL: Take the paper, cardboard and corrugated board to the appropriate waste collection centres. Plastic material must be placed in the relevant collection containers.

The symbols indicating the various types of plastic are: Key for the different types of plastic materials:
PET= Polyethylene terephtalate • PE= Polyethylene, code 02 for PE-HD, 04 for PE-LD • PVC =Polyvinyl chloride • PP= Polypropylene • PS= Polystyrene, Polystyrene foam • O= Other polymers (ABS, Laminates, etc.)

DISPOSING OF ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE

The wheelie bin symbol with a cross indicates that the product must not be disposed of in the domestic waste at the end of its useful life. Instead, it should be taken to your nearest designated collection point or recycling facility. Alternatively, check with your retailer and return the product when buying a replacement, on a one-to-one basis or as free of charge in case the size is smaller than 25 cm. Appropriate disposal promotes the recycling of parts and materials, as well as helping to protect the environment and human health. Under current legislation, strict penalties are enforced against those disposing of products illegally. For more information about the collection of special waste, contact your Local Authority.

SWITCHING ON/OFF
To switch on, press the key 1

DEMOSONG
This keyboard has 70 demosongs.
To choose the pre-recorded tracks, press the SONGS key 2 in succession. Press to interrupt.

RHYTHMS SELECTIONS
You can select one of the 20 rhythms by pressing DRUM RHYTHM 4 button.

WIRELESS CONNECTION
An external audio source can be connected (smartphone, tablet, PC, etc. – not supplied) as follows:

  1. Press WIRELESS button 7.
  2. Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, etc. and select “Bontempi 6100” to pair it with the Boombox: an audible sound indicates that it is connected.
  3. Search through the playlist on your smartphone or computer for a song and play it. You can listen to the song through the speaker on your Boombox.

HOW TO PLAY THE MUSIC ON A SMARTPHONE OR OTHER MP3 PLAYER With the jack cable 13 supplied you can connect an external audio source (MP3 player, iPod, smartphone, etc.).

  1. Insert the cable into the AUX MP3/MP4 socket l2
  2. Insert the other end of the cable into the “HEADPHONE” socket 14 of your music player or other audio source.
  3. Turn on the player, or other music sources and adjust the volume to balance the voice with the music; the reproduction will be monophonic because of the instrument.

PLAY/PAUSE
While playing music, press the play the 5 key to pause / song.

PREVIOUS/NEXT SONG

To choose the previous or next song, press the 6 keys.

VOLUME CONTROL

Adjust volume to desired level by using the VOL. button 8.

LED ON/OFF
Press the LIGHT button 1 to activate or deactivate the light effects of the keys.

TROUBLE SHOOTING


Problem| Solution
The power warning light does not turn on| Check the connection between the USB port and the charging cable.
The Wireless connection breaks down| Decrease the distance between mobile phone and amplifier. Remove obstacles.
No sound can be heard from the external music source| Adjust the volume of the external music source. Properly plug the cable in.
