POWER SUPPLY
This product is powered by a built-in lithium battery that can be charged with
the USB-microUSB cable included in the box. To charge the battery, insert one
end of the cable into the DC 5V socket g and the other end into the USB
socket:
– of a 100-240Vac Mains power supply unit that has an output with the
following characteristics: Vdc=5V I=500mA; – a PC; – a Power bank.
Whilst charging, LED d remains on and will turn off once fully charged.
WARNING: The transformer, power supply used with the electric toy shall be regularly examined for damage to the supply cord, plug, enclosure or other parts, and in the event of damage, it shall not be used until the damage has been repaired.

WASTE DISPOSAL STANDARDS
For information regarding the disposal of the items mentioned here below, please refer to Council Administration office regarding specialised waste collection centres.

BATTERY DISPOSAL: At the end of the service life of the product, the battery contained in it must be disposed of separate from general undifferentiated waste.

PACKAGING DISPOSAL: Take the paper, cardboard and corrugated board to the appropriate waste collection centres. Plastic material must be placed in the relevant collection containers.

DISPOSING OF ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES: The wheelie bin symbol with a cross indicates that the product must not be disposed of in the domestic waste at the end of its useful life. Instead, it should be taken to your nearest designated collection point or recycling facility. Alternatively, check with your retailer and return the product when buying a replacement, on a one-to-one basis or as free of charge in case the size is smaller than 25 cm. Appropriate disposal promotes the recycling of parts and materials, as well as helping to protect the environment and human health. SWITCHING ON/OFF
To switch on the instrument move selector 9 to ON. To switch off move the same selector to OFF. The LED 4 stays on.
This Speaker has 5 modes:
- Wireless connection;
- Connection with MP3 cable;
- Play audio/music from USB flash drive;
- Play audio/music from Micro SD card;
- FM radio.
Press MODE 1 a to switch mode.
WIRELESS CONNECTION
- Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, etc., and select “Bontempi 485900” to pair it with the Speaker: an audible sound indicates that it is connected.
- Search through the playlist on your smartphone or tablet for a song and play it. The track will be played on the Speaker.
Note: for the wireless connection to work, keep the device within 9 m.
CONNECTION WITH MP3 CABLE
With a jack cable (not supplied) you can connect an external audio source (MP3 player, tablet, smartphone, etc., not supplied).
1. Insert the cable into the AUX socket 8.
2. Insert the other end of the cable into the “HEADPHONE” socket 10 of
your music player or another audio source.
3. Search through the playlist on your smartphone or tablet for a song and
play it. The track will be played on the Speaker.
PLAY AUDIO/MUSIC FROM A USB FLASH DRIVE
To play MP3 tracks from a USB flash drive, plug the latter into USB port 5
and the first track will be played automatically.
PLAY AUDIO/MUSIC FROM A MICRO SD CARD
To play MP3 tracks from a micro SD card, insert the latter into slot 6
until it clicks into place; the first track will be played automatically.
Note : the gold contacts must face downwards. If you can’t push the card
into the slot with your finger, use a paperclip or tiny tool until the card
locks.
THE FOLLOWING SETTINGS APPLY FOR MODES FROM 1 TO 4:
Play/Pause
While playing music, press the key 3 to pause/play the song.
Previous/next song
To choose the previous or next song, press the or keys b.
Volume
To adjust the volume, hold down the Vol + or Vol – keys 2 on the Speaker
or press the “volume” keys on your device.
FM RADIO MODE
Press the MODE button 1 and select the FM radio mode.
Press the SCAN button 3. This will launch a search for the best radio
frequencies and then save them.
At the end of this cycle, which will last about 2 minutes, the scan will end
on an FM radio station. To select other radio stations, press button or .
To adjust the volume, keep the Vol + or Vol – button b pressed.
NOTE: Plug the USB-micro USB cable into the 5V DC outlet 7 to improve
reception: The cable will function as an antenna.
MICROPHONE
Insert the microphone in the special holder and connect to the socket MIC 8.
