Attention

  • Please do not disassemble the machine yourself to avoid damaging the internal components.

Preparation and Installation

SD Card Insertion and Formatting

  • Please prepare a Class 7 0 Micro SD Card (not included), 32-7 28GB. Insert the card into the card slot in the correct direction.
  • SD card out: Press down the SD card until you’ve heard a clicking sound. Then the SD card will pop out along with a pop sound.
  • SD Formatting: When the Car Dash Cam is turned on, the screen may indicate: “format Micro card”. Please enter the menu settings, press the Up and Down buttons to select, press OK to begin to format, and press OK again to start recording.

Tips:
When using the Micro SD Card, please format it to the FAT32 file system on your PC before use. If you are not sure how to format the card. Kindly search’how to format Micro SD Card on PC” online.

Product Installation

  • Connect the camera with the Suction Cup as shown below piaure, and check if its stable.
  • Mount the dash cam on the front winshield.
  1. The car camera is mounted on the front windshield
  2. Insert the car charger into the cigarette lighter power hole

Tips:

  1. Before installation, please clean the Suction Cup and the front windshield.
  2. Please adjust the camera lens as needed before driving.

Operation Instructions

Camera Startup

Manual Startup
In the OFF state, press and hold the Power button to enter the preview mode.
Auto Startup
If the dash cam is connected to it’s charger, the dash cam should automatically enter video mode. Please press the OK button to stop recording into preview mode. (Status: Micro card inserted)iZEEKER-GD100-Dash-Camera-

  • Blue light – The camera is recording when the blue light is flashing.
  • Red light- The camera is charging when the red light is on.

  • In OFF state, press and hold the Power button to enter the preview mode. Please confirm that the camera has enough power at this time.

Video Mode

  • Start or Stop Video Recording
    In video mode, short press the OK button to start or stop recording.

  • Lock Video
    In video mode, press the Lock button to manually lock the current video. If it is a locked video, there will be a “lock” sign on the video.

  • Switching Mode
    Press the M button once, twice, three times to switch to camera mode, playback mode, preview mode.

Preview Mode

  • Press OK button to take a photo.

  • Play or Stop the Video
    In the playback mode, short press the OK button to start or stop the video.

  • Select Playback Video
    In the playback mode, press the up or down buttons to select the video that you want to play back.

  • Fast Forward or Rewind
    When playing a video, the up button means “Rewind’; the down button means “Fast forward “.

  • Delete Video
    In playback mode, press the menu button and select “Delete” to delete video. For locked videos, please select Protection to unlock it and then delete them.

Video Mode
In preview mode, press the menu button once to enter the video menu. Press the up and down buttons to select the corresponding icon, and press the OK button to confirm. Enter the submenu, and press the up and down buttons to select the icon. Press the OK button to confirm and return to the superior menu.

  • Resolution
    Options: 1 0B0F HD/ 720P/ VGA

  • Loop Recording
    Options: OFF/ 1 Minute/ 3 Minutes/ 5 Minute Automatically overwrite the unlocked video when the M I ensure cont numerous recordings.

  • Wide Dynamic Range
    The purpose of wide dynamic range imaging is to correctly represent the large range of brightness in the real world from direct sunlight to the dark shadows.

  • Exposure
    We recommend that you initially use the default “+0.0” This setting is associated with the light conditions that you are driving in, i.e. the darker the conditions the higher the “+” setting, or if your conditions are very bright are then you should be using “-“settings.

  • Motion Detection
    We recommend Keeping this setting OFF while driving. Under preview mode, the dash cam will automatically start recording when it detects motion within 3 meters’ infront of the car. If shutdown, it will restore the default state.

  • Audio
    Select “on11 to record sound as well as video. In the preview mode and video mode, the down button is the hot key to adjust audio.

  • Date Stamp
    We recommend keeping on. Please set the correct date and time in the “date/ time” settings before use.

  • Gravity sensor
    Options: OFF/ Low/ Medium/High We recommend “Low” When the sensor detect vibration, the recording will be locked, the higher the vibration, the more files are locked. If there are too many locked files, The dash cam may stop recording, and you’ll need to format MicroSD card.

  • Parking Guard
    When this function is on, the device will automatically record when it detects car i i vibration while parked. Parking guards need a spec al power boxes for spec fic Car Camera to connect the ACC and GND in the safety box.

  • Headlight warning
    When the dash cam detect that your headlights are too dim, the dash cam will alert you with a flashing icon.

System Setting Menu
In the preview mode, press the menu button twice t0 enter the system setting menu. Press the up and down buttons to select the corresponding icon, press OK button to confirm. Enter the submenu, press the up and down buttons to select the icon. Press OK button to contirm and return to the superior menu.

  • Date/time
    Press the Up or Down buttons to change the date and press the OK button to confirm the settings.

  • Auto Power Off
    Options: OFF/ 1 Minute/ 3 Minutes
    When the camera is not recording, it will shut down automatically if there is no operation for a period of time.

  • Beep Sound
    Touch-tone

  • Language
    Options: English

  • Screensaver
    Options: OFF/ 1 Minute/ 3 Minutes
    While recording, the screen will go dark when there is no operation for a while, but the recording will continues.

  • Car Number
    Please enter your license plate number.

  • Format
    Please format your SD card before using it for the first time. Please format the SD card every 15 days to prevent the card filling up and jamming your dash cam.

  • Default setting
    Select OK to restore the default settings.

FAQ

  • Q: Can I playback the video on the dash cam?
    A: You can view the recording in playback mode. If it is a locked video, there will be a “lock” sign on the video.

  • Q: The screen prompts “Please insert card”, but I have inserted the micro SD card, what should I do?
    A: Please check if the SD card has been formatted in the camera, or change to a new premium-brand class 7 D SD card with a minimum 32 GB capacity.

  • Q: The camera automatically shuts down after a one-minute recording. What should I do?
    A: It may due to the screensaver function, the blue light flashing means the camera is recording. You can turn this function off on the menu.

  • Q: When driving, the camera will beep and show a headlight symbol on the screen. What does it mean and how do I get it to stop doing that?
    A: It’s the “Headlight Warning” function. Headlight Warning means the camera has detected your headlights may be too dim for safe driving. Therefore, the dash cam will notify you by showing a flashing icon. It can be turned off in the “Headlight Warning” setting.

  • Q: Should the dash cam always be charging to keep recording?
    A: Generally speaking, dash cam need to be charged all the time. And please note that, the parking monitoring function requires a hardwire kit to ensure a continuous power supply.
