Q1: Which app do I need to download to connect my camera to my phone?
You can download the iSmart DV2 app from the Google Play Store and the Apple
App Store. the WiFi app allows you to control your camera remotely from your
smartphone.
Q2: How to connect the phone to the camera?
- Download the iSmart DV2 app to your phone. The app can be found through the Google Store or Apple Store.
- After the action camera is turned on, press the power button on the side of the action camera, the camera will turn on the WIFI function, and the camera’s WiFi link information will appear on the screen.
- Find the camera WiFi on the mobile phone, press the camera screen information to connect, open iSmart DV2 on the mobile phone after connection, you can use the mobile phone to connect to the camera and perform file transfer and other operations.
Q3: The anti-shake effect of EIS did not meet my expectations, how should I
adjust it?
Please make sure you have turned on the EIS function. And please note that EIS
function is not compatible with timelapse, slowmotion or fastmotion mode. When
using it, please make sure you have connected the camera firmly to avoid
violent shaking due to loose connection. Also if you are testing its EIS
effect, please note that EIS function works vertically rather than
horizontally, so if you move the camera horizontally frequently, it wont bring
the best image effect.
Q4: Is the remote control waterproof? Can it be used underwater?
The remote control is not waterproof and cannot be used underwater. If the
remote control accidentally gets water stains during use, please dry it as
soon as possible.
Q5: Why can’t the memory card be recognized and used after inserting it
into the camera?
You must format the memory card in the camera before you can use the memory
card normally. If you still have questions about this, we can provide advice
on how to do this.
Q6: How to format memory card with GA420 action camera?
- Insert the SD card to be formatted when the camera is off, not when it is on.
- Turn on the camera, slide down the system settings (gear icon) in the camera, and find the “Format” function. If there is a prompt such as “SD card not inserted”, please ignore it.
- Enter the “Format” function, select the “Yes” option and click it to confirm the formatting. At this time, the camera screen will display “TF card is formatting!”
- After formatting is completed, the camera will prompt: “TF card formatting is complete!” . This means it has successfully formatted the SD card.
PS: If the notification does not appear, it means the current SD card has other problems, such as low speed, does not meet the camera recognition conditions, etc. At this time you need to test it with another SD card.
Q7:I don’t know how to activate the front screen.
Please long press the Mode button to activate the front screen. Also note that
both screens don’t work at the same time, so when you activate the front
screen, the main screen automatically turns off. vice versa.
