Cautions
- Keep it safe from falling and dropping.
- Keep it distance from any strong magnetic interference objects like electrical machine to avoid strong radio waves that might be damaging the product and affect the sound or image quality.
- Keep the camera away from water and liquids (unless equipped with waterproof case). This may cause the the camera to malfunction.
- Keep it safe from children while on charging. To fully charge the battery takes around 2 hours. We advise you to take the battery out of the camera after use in order to avoid loss of battery power.
- We recommend you use high quality U3 Micro SD Card (8-128GB) for the best results. Please format the micro SD card on the camera before using and restart the camera after formatting.
- Do not expose the product directly to high temperatures over 55°C.
- Do not place heavy objects on the camera.
- Do not place your Micro SD card near strong magnetic objects to avoid data error or loss.
- Do not use the camera when it is low power.
- Do not use the camera while charging.
- Do not attempt to open the case of the camera or modify it in any way.
- Please remove the battery before using as a dash camera.
- In case of overheating, unwanted smoke or unpleasant smell from the device, unplug it immediately from the power outlet to prevent hazardous fire.
- Please store the device in a cool, dry and dust free location.
Introduction of host
Product installation
Installation of battery and on-off operation
A: Press the battery cover switch in the arrow direction, and the battery
cover will pop up automatically,
B: Insert the battery into the battery compartment i n the direction of the
electrode to ensure that the battery cover is closed after the complete
insertion of the battery.
C: After the battery is installed, press the power Button to start and press
the power Button for shutdown.
Charging the Camera
A: Charge the camera by connecting to USB power supplies such as power
adapter, car charger or computer using Micro USB cable.
B: Charge the camera by camera charger.
Install & Format the memory Card
A. The camera ONLY support U3 TF Card with capacity of 8-128G, otherwise may
cause the camera unusable.
B. Turn off the power, then insert the memory card i n the direction shown i n
the figure.
C. After installing the TF card correctly, format it from setting menu before
the first use.
Dust-proof Cover Replacement
Note: This Cover is not waterproof.
Getting Started
To power ON
A. Put the battery into your camera. (The battery and the camera are packaged
separately, so be sure to charge and insert the battery before you start using
the camera.)
B. Press and hold the Power/Mode Button for seconds until the screen on.
To power OFF
Press and hold the Power/Mode Button for seconds until the screen off.
Changing Recording Modes
I n standby mode,
A. Tap the mode icon in the bottom middle corner of the screen to bring up the
mode menu.
B. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to bring up the mode menu.
C. Press and hold OK button for 2 seconds once to enter the Mode menu.
Video mode: Normal, Loop Record, V-Timelapse, SlowMotion, FastMotion Photo mode: Single, Burst, P-Timelapse, Self-Time, LongExp
Settings
After selecting the recording mode, touch the setting icon i n the lower right
corner of the screen to enter setting table or Press the Power/Mode button
switch from Video/Photo standby to Video/Photo setting.
There have three icons: recording setting, system setting and exit. You can
directly swipe up/down to choose the options, and touch it to confirm. Or
press the button to operate, like press Power/Mode button to exist, the
Up/Down button to to cycle through the various options, and press the
OK/Shutter Button to select the desired option.

- Normal Video Resolution: 4K 30fps/2.7K 30fps/1080p 60fps/1080p 30fps/720p 120fps/720p 60fps
- Loop Record Resolution: 4K 30fps/2.7K 30fps/1080p 60fps/1080p 30fps/720p 120fps/720p 60fps
Video length:1min/3min/Smin
When t h i s function is turned on, the video recorded will be segmented at
the time you set.

System Setting
- Sounds: Shutter/Boot-up/BeepNolume

- Diving Mode: On/Off
- Effect: Normal/BW/Natural/Negative/VVarm/Brightness Contrast
- Distortion Calibration: Turn On/Off. To improve the fish eye effect. Image Stabilization and Distortion Calibration cannot be turned on at the same time
- Driving Mode: On/Off
- Upside Down: On/Off When this setting is turned on, the camera’s screen flips up and down.
- Screen Saver: Off/1min/3min/5min
- Auto Power Off: Off/1 min/3min/5min
- Power Frequency: 50Hz/60Hz/Off
- White Balance: Auto/Daylight/Shade/Tungsten Light/Fluorescent

Exit
Touch the Exit icon or select the exist icon and press OK button to exist
Playback Videos and Photos
Two ways to enter playback mode.
A. In standby mode, Touch the playback icon on the lower left corner side of
the screen.
B. I n standby mode, Press Power/Mode button, Switch from Video, Photo mode to
Playback
Delete files
In the playback mode, choose the file you would like to delete then touch the
Delete icon at Bottom right corner. Then touch the confirm to delete the file.
Tips: Since different cameras supports different file formats, files
recorded on other cameras with the same memory card may can’t be played back
on this camera.
Remote Control
Operating Camera via the 2.4GHz Remote Control
Use the remote control to take photos or record videos with the touch of the
photo button or video button. It operates i n the current photo or video mode,
or switches to standard photo or video mode to capture. After long use, the
battery will eventually need to be replaced. Unscrew the four small screws on
the back of the case and replace with a new CR2025 cell battery.
Wi-Fi/PC/TV Connection
The Wi-Fi Application allows you to control your camera remotely on a
smartphone or tablet.
You can view the video or pictures on your phone, and download the recordings.
The connecting steps are as following:
A. Download the iSmart DV App on your smart phone or tablet in Google Play or
Apple App Store,
B. I n standby Mode, long press the Up button to bring the Wi-Fi connecting up
or into Video/Photo mode Select, find Wi-Fi icon to turn on Wi-Fi function.
C. The status light (RED) on the top of the camera remains flashing while the
camera is waiting for Wi-Fi connection and the light stays on when the Wi-Fi
is connected.
D. Find and connect the Wi-Fi in the Wi-Fi list on your phone with the Wi-Fi
name and password displayed on the camera.
E. Open the iSmart DV App on your smart phone or tablet after the Wi-Fi is
connected, you’ ll find the camera is controlled by your phone.
Tips:
- To turn on W i – F i , long press the Up button to bring the Wi-Fi connecting up or into Video/Photo mode Select, find Wi-Fi icon to turn on Wi-Fi function.
- The camera can only connect to one device at a time.
- The Wi-Fi connection is a little bit power consuming, so please avoid connecting Wi-Fi when the camera is lower on battery.
Computer Connecting
There are four options when you use the included micro-USB cable to connect to
a computer:
MSDC (Mass Storage Mode), PC CAM, Working and Charging.
Mass Storage Mode: Access to the files stored in the camera’s micro SD card to
copy or view them on a computer. This function can also be achieved by a micro
SD card reader.
PC CAM mode: Use as a webcam for video chats and video recording on your
computer. You may need to allow Adobe Flash Player to run in your video chat
software firstly if you want to use it as a webcam.
Working mode: When charging you still can use the camera.
Charging mode: Only for charging, can not use the camera.
TV Connecting
With HDMI output, you can display the movies and images recorded by this
camera on large screens o f TV, projector, etc.
A. Turn off the camera.
B. Connect the camera and TV with a commercially available Micro HDMI cable
(NOT INCLUDED).
C. Turn on the camera and turn on the HDMI setting on the device which you
intended to input.
Tips:
- The HDMI input device should support 1080P.
- When outputting HDMI, the display of the camera turns black. The screen i s displayed on the HDMI input device, but the operation is operated with the camera.
