Wired Mode
Connect one end of the 3.5 mm cable to the AUX port on the headset, and the other end to a compatible port in your device.
Note: both audio and microphone are compatible while in wired mode, as long as the port supports audio and microphone connections at the same time. If your device has one port for audio and one port for microphone, please use a 3.5 mm audio/mic splitter cable (not included).
USB Transmitter
- Insert the wireless transmitter into the USB port of your device. Once the driver finishes its automatic installation, the transmitter enters a stand-by state and the LED indicator turns red.
- Turn on the wireless headset: it automatically enters pairing mode. Press and hold the button on the wireless transmitter for 3 seconds to pair the headset to the transmitter. The LED indicator flashes in blue quickly.
- Once the headset is paired with the transmitter, the LED indicator stays lit on blue. After a successful pairing, every time you turn on the headset it connects automatically to your device.
Bluetooth
If the headset is not paired to any device, it enters pairing mode automatically and the light flashes in blue and green alternatively. If they have been paired with a different device before, reset any previous connections by short pressing 5 times the Picto button.
When in pairing mode:
- Activate Bluetooth on your device and open the list of available Bluetooth connections.
- Select KLIM Lynx to pair the headset with your device.
- The LED indicator turns blue, and the headset is connected.
After a successful pairing, every time you turn the headset on it connects automatically to your device.
Note: You can only have 1 device connected at the same time. When using the USB transmitter, the Bluetooth connection is deactivated, and vice versa.
Charging the battery
Connect the USB-C charging cable to your computer or another compatible charger (5V/1A or 5V/2A). Connect the other end of the cable to the headset. The LED indicator turns red while charging and turns off completely once the charge has finished.
IMPORTANT: all wireless modes are deactivated during the charge. Plug in the 3.5 mm cable to your computer to continue using the headset while it charges.
Note: when connected to some iOS devices, the battery status will be shown on the device’s screen (usually the top-right corner).
Removable microphone
The KLIM Lynx comes with a removable microphone to improve the quality and offer better environmental noise reduction (ENC) during your calls. Plug it in with the mute button pointing toward your mouth. To mute it, simply short- press the mute button located at the extremity of the microphone. When the microphone is muted, the headphone will beep one time.
Note: a second built-in microphone allows you to make calls without having to connect the removable microphone (with a lower call quality).
Vibration Function Switch
To enable the vibrations, flip the vibration switch down (the LED indicator will stay white indefinitely), and the headphone will vibrate depending on the bass presence in your music, games or movies. The stronger the bass are, the stronger the vibrations will be. To turn off the vibrations, flip the vibration switch up.
RGB lights
Press and hold the Picto and Picto buttons for 2 seconds to turn the lights on or off. Short press these two buttons to change the light color/effect.
- Note: the RGB lights are always off while the headphone is charging or in wired mode.
- Hint: turning off the RGB lights extends the duration of the battery.
Bluetooth connection reset
Short press the Picto button 5 times in a row. The LED indicator stays green for 2 seconds, and then the headset enters pairing mode, with the LED flashing in blue and green alternatively.
