Preceutions & limitations

3.1. Location: Indoors! Interior locations only.
3.2. Normal Operating Position: Horizontal on rigid horizontal ceiling surface
3.3. Positioning of Light Fitting:
3.3.1. Ensure that a minimum clearance all around Is provided between the luminaire and structural members, thermal insulation and any other substance
3.3.2. Suitable for direct mounting on normally flammable surface
3.3.3. Mounting Methods: ‘Recessed ‘Surface mounted (with appropriate accessory) ‘Suspension (with appropriate accessories)
3.3.4. Ensure that any part of the light fitting or the driver is not covered with any combustible materials or insulation; minimum spacings nominated for these materials are mandatory.
3.3.5. Abutment to the Light Fitting trim with any thermal Insulation material must be within the maximum permissible distance in accordance with the regulation; No element of the Light Fitting’s thermal management fins heat sink is covered.
3.4. Positioning the Driver:
3.4.1. The driver must be placed in a well-ventilated location and free from direct contact with any insulating material
3.4.2. Minimum clearance between thermal insulation and the Driver must be ensured
3.4.3. Routing of wiring: The supply (primary) wiring and secondary wiring from Um driver should not be permitted to cross or be routed on the same path.
3.4.4. Secondary lead/ lamp wire extension: Output leads must not be extended.
3.5. Installation Cut-out: The installation cut out sizes prescribed in this document is nominal dimension only. The actual dimensions of the individual downllght may slightly vary. Hence, the actual Installation cut-out must be accurately measured with respect to the product by the installer end tried out on a trial template before cutting out the mounting surface or ceiling.
3.6. Fault finding &Circuit Testing: The Integrity of the circuit MUST NOT be checked with a Wegner’ because the injection of 1000-1500V may irreparably damage the components in the LED driver.
3.7. Always, disconnect the LED Driver from the electrical supply before flash or high voltage testing. (if and when testing is done)

Care & cleaning

4.1. Turn off the fitting first.
4.2, For cleaning, wipe over with a damp cloth & allow to dry off before using the unit
4.3. Do not use strong chemicals, acidic or hydrocarbon-based solvents or abrasive cleaning compounds on any part of the fitting
§.Installation procedure
