The Wander from 3POD may be the most travel-friendly camera support ever
created. The telescopic legs feature a unique design; cluster close-fitting
about the center column for an amazingly compact traveling height of less than
15″, and with the entire unit weighing in at an ultralight 4Ib/1.8kg, there’s
nothing to stop you from carrying it with you anywhere you go. The center
column can be extended to give the system a total height of 68.5in/174cm
without sacrificing stability. Each 4-sectioned telescoping leg features th
ree-position auto-settings and can lock in place individually at preset angles
for perfect stance on uneven terrain. The positive clamp flip locks are
fortified with a cutting-edge, wear-resistant internal structure, making them
immune to dust, moisture, changes in temperature, and the gradual loosening
over time that can occur in inferior locking mechanisms. And the feet … self-
leveling flexible feet to meet surfaces and stand firm. A convenient
retractable weight hook provides an additional counterbalance to hang

OVERVIEW
TRIPOD HEIGHT
The height of the Wander is user adjustable by extending each leg. Flip open the leg extension locks [a] to reach to set the telescopic leg extensions [bl to your desired length. Once you are satisfied with the setup, close the flip- locks [c] to lock the leg in position.
LEG ANGLE
Each leg can be set independently at any of the 3 angles of spread. To change the angle on a leg, close the leg slightly towards the center column and press down the leg angle adjustment button at the top of the leg. While pressing the button down, select the new leg angle and release button to lock it automatically in position. Lift the leg slightly to meet the preset notch.
CENTER COLUMN HEIGHT
The height of the Center Column is, unlock knob [a] and adjust the height of
the column as required. Tighten the Center Column lock knob [a] to secure the
column in position.
CENTER COLUMN REVERSE
The center column reverse process for switching to low angle point of view is
straightforward. Unlock the Center Column Lock [a]. Press down the small
silver button on the lower portion of the column [b] and simultaneously remove
the column [c] by pulling it upward out of the shoulder of the tripod. Invert
the column and insert it into the shoulder from below ( in the direction of
[d]). Tighten the Center Column Lock [CJ.
TRAVEL PREP
Retract all legs and lock tightly. Close the leg towards the center column in the direction of”a”. The legs all fit together with the least waisted space – perfect for travel!
NOTES
- Do not exceed the maximum payload.
- When using the tripod, always lock the central column. Lock or tighten every place that has been loosened during setup.
- Always use the tripod in a safe manner. It’s not a baseball bat!
- Do not use at temperatures below -104°F/-40°C or more than 212°F/100°C.
- Do not expose to wet, sandy, or dusty environments, especially seawater.
- Protect the tripod from direct or indirect sun exposure and avoid high temperature environments, such as vehicle interiors
- Do not set the tripod as a trip magnet for unaware people in private or public areas.
- Use a mild detergent and a soft towel to clean the tripod. Pay particular attention to the lock system and the sliding leg extensions.
- Do not expose the tripod to electrical currents. The results could be shocking!

FIVE YEAR 3POD LIMITED WARRANTY
3POD warrants to the original purchaser that your 3POD product shall be free
from defects in material and workmanship for the period of five (5) years from
the date of purchase (or delivery as may be required in certain
jurisdictions), or thirty (30) days after replacement, whichever comes later.
3POD’s entire liability and your exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty
shall be, at 3POD’s option, to repair or replace the hardware, provided chat
the hardware is returned to the point of purchase or such other place as 3POD
may direct with a copy of the sales receipt or dated itemized receipt. 3POD
may, at its option, replace your product, offer to provide a functionally
equivalent product, or repair any product with new, refurbished or used parts
as long as such parts are in compliance with the product’s technical
specifications. Any replacement hardware product will be warranted for the
remainder of the original warranty period or thirty (30) days, whichever is
longer, or for any additional period of time that may be applicable in your
jurisdiction. If the product has been discontinued, the warranty provider
reserves the right to replace it with a model of equivalent quality and
function. This warranty does not cover problems or damage resulting from
accident, abuse, misapplication, or any unauthorized repair, modification or
disassembly, improper operation or maintenance, normal wear and tear, or usage
not in accordance with produce instructions or connection to improper voltage
supply, use of consumables, such as replacement batteries, not supplied by
3POD, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
Except where prohibited by applicable law, this warranty is nontransferable
and is limited to the original purchaser and the country in which the product
was purchased. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also
have other rights, including a longer warranty duration that may vary under
local laws.
To start a warranty claim, contact the 3POD Customer Service Department to
obtain a return merchandise authorization (“RMA”) number, and return the
defective product to 3POD, along with the RMA number and proof of purchase.
