BEFORE USING THE PICTAR WATERPROOF SMARTPHONE CASE, READ ALL OF THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THIS GUIDE AND CONDUCT THE WATER  TEST EVERY TIME TO VERIFY THAT NO SEEPAGE OF MOISTURE ENDANGERS YOUR DEVICE. WE WOULDN’T WANT AN ACCIDENT, WOULD WE?

The Pictar Waterproof Smartphone Case is an innovative approach to underwater photography without expensive specialized imaging gear. The seal is completely moisture-resistant. No damaging moisture can seep into the case.
What is easy to shoot topside is a snap up to 15 meters below the briny surface. Challenging photography subjects are rendered easy. The shore is no longer a forbidden zone to catch shots of family and friends in swim attire. The fun of sailing aboard waves and crests crashing on deck, snorkeling beneath the current tide to capture marvels of the coral beach, or exotic and colorful sea life at your favorite vacation spot.

Please read the below instructions carefully before using this case.
Operation and maintenance

• Strictly follow the installation & disassembly instructions every time you use the smartphone underwater.
• Make sure the case is locked tightly and the sealing joint gap is lined up before diving.
• Do not use this case if the sealing ring is damaged or deformed.
• Maximum diving depth is 49 feet/ 15 meters. Using a case deeper than 49 feet invalidates the warranty.
• Test the camera shutter button after every installation, and make sure it is able to return to the shooting position.
• If the camera window fogs, keep the desiccant inside the case at least for 10 minutes before putting the case into the water.
• After every use, using, immerse the completely locked case in fresh water for 20 minutes, then wipe the case with a soft absorbent cloth and keep it in a dry place.
• Do not expose the case to extremes in high-temperature places besides heating devices, like vehicle interiors, direct sunlight, or oven interiors.
• Test the product for waterproofing before your dive.
• Do not use the case in water rich in sulfur, like hot springs.
• Do not disassemble the case. Waterproofing gaskets may be damaged.
• It is not suggested you rent or lend this case to others.

Keep away from Children

• Small parts are dangerous to children. Never leave the case unattended with children around. Protect them and your case.

Accessories

• Only self-contained or manufacturer-approved accessories should be used to avoid product failure.
  Please contact customer service if you need customization beyond our approved accessories.

Environment protection

• Keep out of common refuse. Recycle properly according to your local laws.

Compatibility

The Pictar Waterproof Smartphone Case adjusts to fit smartphones from 4.7″ to 6.9″ or 12.0cm to 17.5cm.
Every precaution has been taken to ensure compatibility in these size ranges.

Installation instructions

Important procedures before inserting your Smartphone

• Complete the waterproof test for the case interior.
• Remove any protective layers from the smartphone screen; glass, film, or composite liquids. Throughly clean the screen with a microfiber cloth down to the original screen surface.

Installation steps

1. Use the provided case opener to pry the six clamp locks. A key or coin may be used in place of the case opener.
   

2. Open the front cover.
   

3. Locate the trigger button for taking pictures your button on the left or on the right before installation.
   

4. Pull down the push plate 1 to the bottom and close lock 1 Slide the trigger component to match the position of the smartphone buttons. Adjust slider 1 to the sweet spot.
   *- Check that the case trigger makes correct contact with the smartphone camera buttons.

5. Place the smartphone in a lowermost position at the bottom left edge into the diving case. Move push plate 1 and push plate 1 to firmly grip the smartphone in place.
   

6. Close the front cover and ensure that the edges of the phone fit neatly and evenly. Lock the six clamp locks and check carefully, for a firm fit. The installation is now finished.
   

Instructions, when the smartphone shoots the button, is on the right:

1. As smartphone designs are as varies as manufacturers, you may need the instructions below.

2. Pull the push plate 2 to the top and close lock 2 (Slide to the left accordingly). Adjust slider 2 to a suitable position to firmly grip the smartphone in place.
   

3. Place the smartphone in the uppermost top right edge into the diving case. Move push plate 3 and push plate 1 to firmly meet the smartphone.

4. Close the front cover and check that the phone fits neatly and evenly. Lock the six clamp locks and check carefully, for a firm fit. The installation is now finished.
   

Before you dive! The Waterproof Test.

1. Prepare several pieces of absorbent paper towels.
2. Place the absorbent paper towel into the case.
3. Close the case, and make sure it is sealed.
4. Immerse the case in the water for 60 minutes, Do not attempt to immerse at a depth greater than 15 meters.
5. Remove the case from the water and dry all external moisture.
6. Open the case and take out the absorbent paper towel for evidence of moisture.
7. Carefully checking the case can only be deemed suitable for use with a smartphone underwater after the test is successful. If any evidence of water is noticed, contact  Customer Service for an exchange.

TWO-YEAR PICTURE LIMITED WARRANTY
PICTURE warrants to the original purchaser that your PICTURE product shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for the period of two (2) years from the date of purchase [or delivery as may be required in certain jurisdictions) or thirty (30) days after replacement, whichever comes later.
Pixar’s entire liability and your exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty shall be, at PICTAR’s option, to repair or replace the hardware, provided that the hardware is returned to the point of purchase or such other place as PICTURE may direct with a copy of the sales receipt or dated itemized receipt. PICTURE may, at its option, replace your product, offer to provide a functionally equivalent product, or repair any product with new, refurbished, or used parts as long as such parts are in compliance with the product’s technical specifications. Any replacement hardware product will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or thirty (30) days, whichever is longer,  or for any additional period of time that may be applicable in your jurisdiction.
If the product has been discontinued, the warranty provider reserves the right to replace it with a model of equivalent quality and function.

This warranty does not cover problems or damage resulting from accident, abuse, misapplication, or any unauthorized repair, modification or disassembly, improper operation or maintenance, normal wear and tear, or usage not in accordance with product instructions or connection to the improper voltage supply, use of consumables, such as replacement batteries, not supplied by PICTURE, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
Except where prohibited by applicable law, this warranty is nontransferable and is limited to the original purchaser and the country in which the product was purchased.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, including a longer warranty duration that may vary under local laws.
To start a warranty claim contact the PICTURE Customer Service Department to obtain a return merchandise authorization (“RMA) number, and return the defective product to  PICTURE, along with the RMA number and proof of purchase.
