Product Introduction

Connect Interfaces

Control Panel Instructions

  • Volume +: Touch to increase the volume of the microphones and speakers simultaneously.
  • Volume -: Touch to decrease the volume of the microphones and speakers simultaneously.
  • Mute : Touch to mute or unmute the microphones. The LED indicator willl show red while muted.
  • Mode Switch : Touch to switch the camera display modes.

LED Indicator Instructions

  • No Light : The camera is powered off.
  • Flashing Blue Light : The camera is ready for use, but hasn’t been used yet.
  • Steady Blue Light : The camera is being used.
  • Red Light :
    • The microphone of the camera is muted;
    • The camera is in USB mode;
    • The camera is abnormal.

Switching Modes

You can switch modes by touching the “Mode” button on the control panel on top of the camera. This will change what the camera displays to viewers depending on your needs in different meeting scenarios. The available modes are: Discussion Mode (default mode), Presentation1 Mode, Presentation2 Mode, Global Mode, and Patrol Mode.

  1. Discussion Mode : Display a 360° view at the top to show the whole room. Below this, the camera auto reframing on two active speakers.
  2. Presentation1 Mode : Display a 360° view at the top to show the whole room. Below this, the camera auto reframing on the active speaker.

  4. Global Mode : Two panoramic 360° videos show all the attendees.

Note : Active speakers refer to the person who has been speaking continuously for more than 3 seconds.

Setup Instructions

  1. Step 1. Plug the camera into an electrical outlet using the provided 12V power adapter.

  2. Step 2. Connect the camera to your computer using the provided USB cable.
    NOTE : Make sure your computer is connected to the network and has a stable internet connection before starting the setupNEXIGO-N2000-Meeting-360

  3. Step 3. Press down on the camera lenses housing to pop out the camera lenses, activating the camera. When the LED light flashes in blue indicates that the camera is ready for use.

  4. Step 4. Open the app you want to use the camera with. Ensure that this camera, its built-in microphone and speaker are selected in the settings of the app you are going to use. Consult the user guide for the software you intend to use if you have issues selecting the camera, microphone or speaker in that software.

NOTE : Press down on the camera lenses housing to turn off the camera when not in use

Windows Setup

  1. Go to Settings > Privacy > Camera and turn on “Let apps use my camera”.
  2. Turn on each of the apps on the list where you want to use the camera. In the app you wish to use, ensure the NexiGo Meeting 360 Camera is selected as the active camera, microphone and speaker from the list of available options.

MacOS Setup

  1. Go to the Apple menu > System Preferences > Security & Privacy, select the Privacy tab. Select Camera from the list of options on the left side of the page.
  2. Turn on each of the apps on the list where you want to use the camera. In the app you wish to use, ensure the NexiGo Meeting 360 Camera is selected as the active camera, microphone and speaker from the list of available options.

Firmware Update

IMPORTANT:

  • Make sure to download the authorized latest firmware from nexigo.com or NexiGo customer service, unauthorized firmware will cause damage to the operating system.
  • Make sure the firmware version to be upgraded is the latest one, downgrading will cause damage to the operating system.
  1. Step 1. Download the latest firmware from nexigo.com/pages/meeting-360-firmware. Save the firmware to your desktop or another convenient location. You will need this in Step 5.

  2. Step 2. Download the MTKusbDriver from nexigo.com/pages/meeting-360-firmware and install the driver on your PC.

  3. Step 3. Turn on the camera and connect it to your PC.

  4. Step 4. Press and hold the Mode button for five seconds. The indicator light on the camera will turn red and the camera will enter USB mode so the firmware upgrade can be started.

  5. Step 5. Go to where you stored the upgrade firmware and copy that file. On a Windows Computer open File Explorer and navigate to “This PC”. Select the “PF590” from the list of devices, and double click the icon to open it. Paste the firmware update into the “PF590 -> Internal shared storage” folder. The firmware will then be downloaded onto the webcam.
    Note : The firmware must be named “update”. Any suffix or modification, “update (1)” or “upgrade” for example, will cause the upgrade to fail.

  6. Step 6. Restart the camera by pressing the camera lens housing downward to turn off the camera. Wait for 5 seconds to press the lens again to start the camera back up. The camera will be upgraded automatically and the indicator light will rapidly flash blue indicating the upgrade is in progress. When the process has been completed the blue indicator light will transition to a slower flashing indicating the upgrade was successful.

Notes

  1. Read all insturctions to prevent damage due to misuse.

  2. Do not place or attach the product to an unstable or uneven surface. Failure to follow this precaution may cause the product to fall and cause damage to the unit.

  3. If using a third-party charger to charge the unit, observe all safety rules relating to the
    third-party power supply equipment. Using other parts, accessories, or chargers not recom mended by NexiGo may result in fire, electric shock, or damage to the item or user.

  4. The lenses on this camera are made of glass. If the lens is damaged, be sure to handle it carefully to avoid potential dangers and keep it out of the reach of children.

  5. The temperature of the camera may rise during operation. If the camera overheats, please turn off the camera and leave it for a while to cool down before attempting further use.

  6. This product is not a toy. You are solely responsible for complying with all local laws, regulations and restrictions regarding the use of this product in your jurisdiction.

  7. Do not use or store the camera in extremely cold or hot environments. Extremely cold or hot conditions may cause the camera to malfunction or may damage the unit.

  8. If the unit is damaged, please exercise the warranty or dispose of the item. Do not attempt to open and repair it independently. Contact NexiGo Customer Support to exercise the warranty.

  9. To clean the device, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. To clean the lens, use a dry microfiber cloth or a lens cleaner. Use only a mild detergent if necessary. Do not use strong or corrosive detergents to avoid scratching the lens and affecting image quality.

Warning
Lens scratches are not covered by the warranty. There is no built-in protection for the lenses on the camera, as is typical with standard higher end photography equipment. If you are not careful you may scratch the lenses. Avoid placing the lenses directly onto any surface and make sure to close the camera when it is not in use.
