Getting Started
Charge it Up
Before getting started, charge your Positive Pet Collar for at least 5 hours until the blue charging indicator light turns off. The blue LED will light up and remain on while charging. To access the charging port, push the sliding door in the direction of the arrow.
Power On & Off
To turn ON the Positive Pet Collar, hold the power button for 1–2 seconds or until the blue LED flashes and you feel the vibration motor activate. To turn OFF the Positive Pet Collar, hold the power button for 1–2 seconds or until the blue LED flashes. The blue indicator light will flash for about 5 seconds.
Place it on Your Pet
Insert the nylon collar strap
The Positive Pet comes with a nylon collar strap that can be trimmed down
to fit your pet, or you may use your own standard-size collar. To insert the
collar strap, push the sliding door on the side of the device in the direction
of the arrow. Insert the strap and slide the door back into place.
Interchangeable Magnetic Vibration Plates
- SMOOTH PLATE for short-haired pets
- ROUND BUMPS for medium-haired pets
- ROUND BUMPS for medium-haired pets
NOTE:
The Positive Pet Trainer should be positioned on the collar so that the bumps
on the magnetic vibration plates sit against your pet’s neck. When placed on
your pet properly, the LED indicator on the Positive Pet Trainer should face
out.
Activation
Activate the device using the remote. When the device is activated the blue LED indicator light will flash. A single press of the remote will activate the Positive Pet vibration motor. The device will activate continuously with constant pressure on the remote button. The remote will activate the Positive Pet up to 55 feet (16m) away.
Tips for Best Results
- When fitting the Positive Pet collar, leave two fingers’ width between the nylon strap and your pet’s neck.
- If the collar is too long, cut the nylon strap to the proper length, and carefully seal the cut end with a flame as needed.
- Check the collar periodically to ensure a proper fit.
- Consistency is key to proper training.
