Installation
Choosing a Location:
The room layout and the desired room design will be the most important factors in choosing where to place the projector. Consider the following when selecting a location:
- The size, shape, and position of where you wish to project your screen.
- Location of a suitable power outlet.
- Ensure the projector has sufficient room around it for airflow.
The projector is designed to be installed in one of four layouts. You can either hang the projector from the ceiling via a special mounting bracket (NOT included), or simply place it on a stable surface. You may need to change the projection mode so the images project correctly. Under the Settings tab select Projection Settings, then select Projection Mode in the next menu, then choose the corresponding projection mode for your needs.
Note: A specific rear projection screen is required to use the rear projection function.
Projector Distance & Size:
Note: Due to manufacturing tolerances there will be variance of about 3% from unit to unit. The above data is for reference only. Please use actual measurements when installing the device.

Usage Instructions
First Time Use:
Before using the projector for the first time, please use the included charger to fully charge the projector’s battery. While charging, the charging indicator light will turn red, and when fully charged the charging indicator light will turn yellow.
Normal Use:
- Press and hold the Power Switch to turn on the projector.
- Before the system is able to function it needs approximately ten seconds to warm up. When it is ready, the projector will illuminate and display an image on the projector screen.
Multi-Media Connection Instructions:
This section guides you on how to connect the projector with other equipment.
USB Connection:
Insert a USB External Hard Drive or Thumb Drive into the USB port of the projector. On the homepage, select Files and then select USB. From here you can open supported files like videos, audios, documents, and/or images from the drop-down menu that appears on the right.
HDMI Connection:
Connect the projector to your device using the included HDMI cable. On the homepage, select Source > HDMI and the projector will display the screen of the connected device.
3.5mm Audio Connection:
Connect the projector to your device using a 3.5mm audio cable. This will allow you to output audio from the projector.
EShare Instructions
EShare is a multi-screen interactive software application designed for sharing content and control between devices and displays. To connect your mobile device with the projector, make sure your device and the projector are connected to the same network. On the homepage, select EShare, then follow the displayed instructions to download the EShare application on your device. Open EShare on your device, click “NexiGo PJ01-XXXX” on the device list, and your device is now connected to the projector. Everything is Under Control
Once connected, you can select between the different icons on the EShare interface on your device to use the different available functions:
- Share Screen: Displays the screen of your Android device on the projector
- TV Mirror: Displays the screen of the projector on your smartphone or tablet
- Photo: Choose photos on your device, and display them on the projector
- Audio/Video: Allows you to choose audio or video files from your device and display them on the projector
- Doc: Allows you to choose documents on your phone and display them on the projector
- Camera: Turns on the camera of your device and displays the image on the projector
- Remote: Allows you to use your device as a remote control for the projector
AirPlay Instructions
AirPlay is an application designed to share content between Apple iOS devices and MacOS devices, as well as with specialized third party pieces of hardware. To set up this connection, click the AirPlay button on the remote. The projector display will then show this message: “Search for the above device name (NexiGo PJ01) via AirPlay mirroring on AirPlay compatible devices to connect.” Open your iDevice and go into the AirPlay program and select the correct device name shown above. Your device is now connected.
Application Use and Instructions:
The projector comes pre-installed with an Android 9.0 operating system, and has 16GB of internal storage. It is preloaded with popular applications such as: YouTube, Google Play, Netflix, Aptoide TV, Chrome, and more. You can remove these applications if unneeded and replace them with apps of your choice. If you run out of storage space you can use the USB port to add an external hard drive or thumb drive to act as additional storage for the unit. This storage space can also be used to download pictures, audio files, videos, and more. On the homepage, YouTube and Google Play are set on the top for easy access. To add your preferred applications on the homepage, select Add at the bottom right corner of the homepage. Move your cursor to the apps you would like to add and hit OK on the remote to put a check mark on them. Back out to the main menu after selecting all applications you would like to add and these applications will be added at the bottom of the screen.
To view all the applications installed on the projector, select Applications on the homescreen menu to see the full list.
To delete an installed application:
Select Applications on the homescreen menu and scroll over to the application that you want to uninstall. Press and hold the OK button on your remote, a pop-up window will appear asking “Do you want to uninstall this app?”. Click OK if you wish to continue and the application will be uninstalled from the projector, or press Return if you do not want to delete the app.
Settings Instructions
Wi-Fi Settings:
To add or change your Wi-Fi settings, from the homepage, select Settings > Network Settings > Wi-Fi Settings. Choose the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to, enter your Wi-Fi password, and then select Link to connect your projector to the network.
Hotspot Settings:
To make your projector show up as a Wi-Fi hotspot, from the homepage, select Settings > Networking Settings > Hotspot Settings. Make sure the toggle at the top of the page is set to On, select OK, and then choose the projector as your Wi-Fi source on your device.
Bluetooth Settings:
To connect your projector to Bluetooth audio, on the homepage, select Settings
Bluetooth Settings. Make sure the toggle at the top of the page is set to ON, then choose the Bluetooth device you want to connect on the right side of the screen. Wait for 5-10 seconds for the connection to occur, and your projector will be connected to the Bluetooth device.
Note: This Bluetooth connection is only valid for connecting an audio output device to the projector. You can also reverse the connection so the projector plays audio from a connected device using the speakers built into the projector. This connection would be made under Settings > Bluetooth Speaker.
Language Settings:
To change the display language for the projector, on the homepage, select Settings > Language Settings > Language Settings. Choose the language you want and hit OK, and the display language of the projector will be changed to that language.
Note: This will only change the display language but will not affect the input language. If you need to change the input language you will need to navigate to Settings > Language Settings > Input Language Settings. You will then need to download the appropriate language, and then select it for it to become active.
Factory Reset:
To reset your projector to default settings, on the homepage, select Settings
Other Settings > Factory Reset. When you see this message “After performing a factory reset all settings will be returned to defaults. Are you sure you want to do this?” select Reset, and all the settings of the projector will be reset to defaults.
Projection Mode Settings:
To change the projector mode so you can move the projector to a different orientation, on the homepage, select Settings > Projection Settings > Projection Mode Settings. Choose the projection mode you need and hit OK, and the projected display will be adjusted correspondingly.
Keystone Correction Settings:
To adjust the keystone correction for the projector, on the homepage, select Settings > Projection Settings > Keystone Correction Settings. If you would like this to adjust itself automatically, then activate the AutoKeystone Correction Settings. This will allow the system to adjust this for you as needed.
If you prefer to adjust the keystone correction manually, ensure that the AutoKeystone Correction Settings toggle is not selected. Then select Manual Keystone Correction and use the Left/Right/Up/Down and OK buttons on the remote control to manually adjust the keystone correction.
Brightness Adjustment Settings:
To change the brightness level, on the homepage, select Settings > Projection Settings > Brightness Adjustment. Then use the Left/Right buttons on the remote control or click on the brightness bar to set the brightness of the projector display to your preferred setting.
Color Temperature Adjustment Settings:
To adjust the color tone of the projector, on the homepage, select Settings > Projection Settings > Color Temperature Adjustment. Choose the color temperature you want, and the color temperature of the projector display will be changed correspondingly. Draination Cattinan
Fan Speed Adjustment Settings:
To change the projector fan speed, on the homepage, select Settings >
Projection Settings >
Fan Speed, select the fan’s spin speed you want, and the cooling fan of the
projector will be changed correspondingly. If you plan to use the projector
for an extended period of time, please use a higher fan speed to maximize the
lifespan of the projector. If you require a quieter fan for a presentation or
other such event you can set the fan speed to the lowest setting. Please do
not leave the projector on for a prolonged period of time at the lowest fan
speed setting.
Digital Zoom Settings:
On the homepage, select Settings > Projection Settings > Zoom Settings, use the Left/Right buttons on the remote control or click on the Digital Zoom bar. From here you can adjust the zoom levels of the projector display from level 1 to level 5. Projection Settings
Bluetooth Speaker Settings:
On the homepage, select Settings > Bluetooth Speaker, click the Speaker Mode button, search for the Bluetooth name on your phone or other device and connect it. The projector will work as a Bluetooth speaker to output audio from your connected device.
System Information
On the homepage, select Settings > About Us > System Information to find out manufacturing details and specifications about the projector. You can also view total storage available/utilized.
Projector System Upgrade:
On the homepage, select Settings > About Us > USB Update and download the upgrade file from www.nexigo.com or contact cs@nexigo.com. Store this file into a USB flash drive or SD card with a card reader and insert the USB flash drive or the card reader into the USB port. Select the Update button and wait for a few minutes for the projector system to update.
If you want to update the system online instead, select Settings > About Us > Online Update, select the Check For Updates button, and wait for a few minutes for the projector system to update.
Notes:
- Read the manual carefully before you use the projector.
- Unplug the projector immediately if you notice any issues or problems with it.
- If your projector begins to smoke, make unusual noises, or any strange odor is noticed, immediately unplug your projector. Ensure that it is placed in an open area with ventilation, away from any objects that may be a fire hazard.

- Do not remove the projector cover: this projector contains high voltage circuitry. Inadvertent contact may result in a severe electric shock and could result in injury or death.
- Do not modify this equipment.
- Avoid dropping or throwing the projector.
- Do not face the projector lens to the sun.
- Use only the provided power cable.
- Do not place the projector on an uneven or unstable surface, or one that is subject to vibration.
- Do not place this device near another device that produces a strong magnetic field or one with a heavy electrical load.
- Do not look into the lens when the projector is operational. It may cause permanent eye damage.
- Do not turn off the main power abruptly or unplug the projector during operation. Wait until the fan has turned off before powering off fully.
- Do not attempt to use the projector in a vertical orientation.
- Place the projector within a slope of $15°. Any greater slope presents dangers of the unit sliding and falling.
- Avoid obstructions around the projector air vent as this may cause damage to the unit or create a fire hazard.This unit may be damaged by liquids. Keep liquids away from the unit to prevent damage. Liquid damages are not covered by the warranty.
- If the projector is unused for a prolonged period of time unplug it from the power source.
- If there are any mechanical issues with the projector, please contact NexiGo Support to exercise the warranty; Do not attempt to repair the item yourself.
