General Operation
Charging: Connect the USB cable from the device to a USB power outlet. While the device is charging the Red LED will illuminate. Once the device is fully charged the green LED will illuminate (approx 2 hours). Prior to first use only, please ignore the LED indicator and continue to charge the device for an additional 2 hours. This device can also record while charging. When the battery is low, the green and red LED’s will flash alternately.
SD Card: To save recordings install a Class 10 Micro SD Card maximum size 32gb. Please note the SD Card must be formatted as Fat32.
Standby Mode: Press the On/Off button until the green and red LED illuminates. When the SD Card is detected the green LED will go out. If the SD Card is not detected the green and red LED will flash 5 times or 10 times if the SD Card is full. The camera is now in standby mode.
Photo Mode: From Standby short press the On/Off button. A red LED will flash once. The photo will be save to the SD Card. Repeat to take additional photos.
Video Mode: From Standby short press the Video button. The red LED will flash 3 times. Once the recording starts the LEDs will go out. Long press the Video button will save the recording and return to Standby Mode. The red LED will remain on. If the recording is not stopped manually the recordings will automatically be saved.
Motion Detection Mode: From Standby long press the Video button. The green LED will flash 3 times. Short press the Video button will save the recording and return to Standby Mode. The red LED will remain on.
Shutdown: Long press the On/Off button from any standby mode. The LED will go out and your device is now turned off. The device will automatically turn off if left on standby for 1 minute.
Recording playback: Using the supplied USB cable connect the device to a Desktop Computer or Laptop. Your computer will automatically setup the device and allow you to view the stored recordings using your favourite image viewer or Media Player. Video format is AVI and the codec is M-JPEG. Photo’s are JPEG.
Time Setup: With the device connected to your computer use notepad to create a file time.txt and save it to the USB root directory. Open the text file and enter the date and time in the following format: YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS

Factory Reset: Should the device become unstable please try a Factory Reset. Carefully insert a small pin like object into the reset button.
