Starfrit Microwave Popcorn Maker User Guide
Overview
For compact storage, the bowl can be completely folded.
- First, with indexes, push towards the inside on the folding line 1.
- Then fold folding line 2 over folding line 1 with your thumbs until the first level is completely inside.
- Repeat with folding lines 3 and 4 and finish by folding the flaps.
HOW TO USE
Clean before first use. Wash by hand or in the dishwasher. It is recommended to place the popcorn maker in top rack of the dishwasher.

Unfold the bowl completely by opening the flaps.

Put the uncooked corn kernels inside the bowl with other ingredients if necessary.

Close the flaps and put the bowl inside the microwave oven and cook at high heat for 2’A minutes. Cooking time can vary from one microwave oven to another.

Remove bowl from the microwave oven. Handle with care and always use oven mitts when removing the bowl from the microwave oven. Let popcorn cool down for about 30 seconds.
PLAIN POPCORN
3 tbsp (approximately 40 g) uncooked corn kernels
Time: approximately 2 1/2 minutes* – High heat
Result: approximately 5-6 cups of popcorn
BUTTER FLAVOURED POPCORN
3 tbsp (approximately 40 g) uncooked corn kernels
2 tbsp (approximately 28 g) butter
1 tsp (approximately 6 g) salt
Time: approximately 31/2 minutes* – High heat
Result: approximately 5-6 cups of popcorn
SWEET POPCORN
3 tbsp (approximately 40 g) uncooked corn kernels
1 tbsp (approximately 13 g) sugar
2 tsp (30 ml) water
Time: approximately 4 minute? – High heat
Result: approximately 5-6 cups of popcorn
Cooking times may vary from one microwave oven to another
WARNINGS!
- The bowl and its content are hot. It is important to handle with care. It is recommended to use oven mitts.
- Always stay close to the microwave oven. Stop the cooking process when the corn kernels have stopped popping.
- Do not heat the corn kernels too much because the grains could start grilling or burning and damage the bowl. It is normat that not all the grains will pop. Do not reheat the corn kernels that haven’t popped.
- Do not use the “Popcorn” function on your microwave oven.
- Children should not make popcorn without adult supervision.
- Do not use the bowl for any other purpose.
- Do not use the bowl if it is damaged.
- Do not use over open flame or heat source.
